I didn't want to waste time waiting for the vibranium. Ideally, I should have designed some of the devices I needed, but coming up with everything myself from scratch was a stupid idea. After all, that would require a lot of money, a lot of time, and a lot of state-of-the-art equipment. And I didn't have any of that. So the best option for me was to steal the blueprints of Tony Stark's developments, and then based on them to modernize and create their own devices.
Of course, it was very dangerous and stupid to go into Stark's tower like that. So for three days, I wrote a program that should help me hack into Stark's security systems in order to siphon data from the servers. And after that, I started making extra useful stuff. Mostly tear gas smoke bombs, emi grenades, shock grenades. But the most important thing was a compact, but at the same time very powerful jetpack for escape, in case the situation gets out of control...
- Peter, it's none of my business, but why don't you tell me what you're making and why? - Daisy asked me as she handed me another batch of materials.
- You know, Daisy, when Fury got in touch with me, he said he needed a man who could stand up to the Avengers. But to stand up to someone, you have to be as good as them. And as far as I know, S.H.I.E.L.D. is inferior to Tony Stark in terms of technology, so I decided to "privatize" it from Tony. And I need all this equipment to do just that. - I gave her the rundown.
- You want to rob them?! You're crazy! And Nick will be against it! - Daisy shrieked emotionally.
- Don't worry, I'm confident in my abilities! And believe me, Fury won't mind, on the contrary. - I showed a confident smile.

Finally, it was X-day. All my equipment was ready, so at nightfall I left the house and started walking towards Tony Stark's tower.
Not reaching it a couple kilometers, I hid the satchel on one of the roofs. After all, going with it to a possible fight was stupid. It could easily get damaged, and it would just get in the way on my back during a potential battle.
Finally, stopping at the building next to Stark's tower, I took a deep breath to calm my nerves, then sprinted toward Stark's tower.
There was no point in acting quietly and stealthily. The whole building was packed with tracking systems. I was sure they'd already spotted me.
The glass shattered, and I found myself in Tony's workshop.
- You are trespassing on private security property. Leave within ten seconds or the security systems will be activated! - immediately, machine guns came out of the ceiling and aimed at me, and a robotic AI voice came out of the speakers.
Instead of answering, I began firing webbing at the machine guns, thus rendering them inoperable.
The other machine guns on aggression immediately opened fire.
I was in combat mode beforehand, so all those bullets posed no danger to me. A few seconds, and all the machine guns were disabled.
Going to the computer, I inserted the device with the hacking software, and then started to manually help bypass the defenses.
I had to get this over with. The danger of being in here was only getting worse by the second.
I saw the walls of the workshop begin to move apart, and the next moment Iron Man suits came out of the aisles and took me in a circle.
- Whoever you are, surrender if you don't want to die in vain! - Tony Stark's voice came from one of the suits, and they all raised their repulsor arms toward me, fully prepared to attack.
- Die? That's not part of my plans! - I released my claws, and then instantly jumped on one of the suits and literally ripped its head out...
Fighting against a crowd of iron men who knew no pain was quite difficult. Because of the numerical advantage, even with my agility, I was sometimes hit by their blows or repulsor shots. Of course, they couldn't penetrate my defenses, but they made me feel pain.
Our battle was wreaking havoc everywhere, shattered glass, broken walls, and destroyed equipment. Luckily the main computer wasn't broken, I deliberately avoided fighting near it.
After destroying the last robot, I saw that the security hack was already complete and the data I needed was more than half downloaded.
At that moment I heard the sound of jet propulsion. When I turned around, I saw another suit flying toward me. And I was sure that Tony Stark himself was inside it.
- Who are you? And why did you come into my tower?!? - he stopped in mid-air outside the tower. Realizing he couldn't take me on in a close fight.
- It's nothing personal, I just wanted the data from your research. - I walked over to the computer that had just finished transferring the data and then put my device away.
- You are no ordinary man. You have amazing abilities, and a great mind, since you were able to hack into my security system. Tell me why you would do such a thing. Or did someone hire you? OzCorp, maybe? Wouldn't you rather join the Avengers than be someone's errand boy?
- You're wrong, Tony Stark. No one hired me, no one has the power to make me do anything. It's just my whim.
- And the fact that I decided to steal the data is simple. Your technology is almost the most advanced within our planet at the moment, so I'm just tempted by it.
- So are we gonna fight or are you just gonna let me go? You know you're no match for me alone," I grinned. - I grinned.
- You're right, I might not be able to fight you alone, but who said I was alone?
As soon as Tony finished, the elevator door opened and three men stepped out. Namely Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America. Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff, and Falcon Eye, aka Clint Barton. I knew almost all the information about them thanks to Shch.I.T.A. data, so I immediately realized what a headache was waiting for me.
- Well, then, let's see who will come out of this battle victorious! - I once again released my claws, and then attacked my opponents....
