24 She Shouldn't Have Come

Sierra knew she couldn't straight up ask Nathan if he had been the crazy person that climbed a falling Ferris wheel to save people. But the video did get her thinking about him for the first time in a while.

Was he doing okay? Had his shoulder recovered completely? What was he up to these days?

Most importantly, why was she wondering about him in the first place? There was no real reason for her to do that. They hadn't been in contact in months because there hadn't been a need for it.

Yet Sierra inexplicably found herself on his doorstep. She regretted coming before he even answered the door and was about to make a break for it when it opened.

"Sierra?" Nathan asked in disbelief. "What are you doing here?"

Idiot! How was she supposed to answer that without accusing him of being the person in the video? Internally screaming, she smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
