9 Chapter 9: Seal the Economic Fate.

3rd pov

In Duloc City, the Minister-President of the Duloc Police General-Ministry, Thelonious, was reading about the case that happened involving the 3 Little Pigs.

The 3 Little Pigs got involved in a bar fight, causing a scene that caused the Police to come and arrest the 3, with the oldest of the brothers cooperating, while the other 2 were trying to resist....which resulted in the Police using brute force.

This was the first case involving Fairy Tales, so Thelonius had to think carefully about how to proceed while following the laws established by Joseph.

"The 3 little pigs must be interrogated, each one separately and I want to know about the reason for the fight in the bar" Thelonius said to the police officer who was in front of him.

The officer waved, with her then saluting Thelonius before leaving his office with the new orders.

Meanwhile in Kingdom of Heart.

Joseph was no longer able to take this party, he was holding himself back from grabbing a gun from one of the Guards and firing it into the air.

While the music was good, the problem was the simps who were always looking at him since he danced with Queen Grimhilde, which also wasn't helping as she was also looking at him from time to time.

'God, I just want this party to end' Joseph thought while on the outside he continued pretending to be a good nobleman, just drinking his wine to forget about the rest of those at the party.

While he was complaining internally, Grimhilde had an amused look on her face, as if she could see from Joseph's eyes that he wasn't enjoying the situation he was in.

Grimhilde was quite enjoying this, but she didn't forget her role as Queen and hostess of the Ball, talking to the guests and pretending to be a good person, all to fool this bunch of idiot nobles.

The party then lasted a few more hours, with everyone eating and drinking without worrying about the outside world, while Joseph, even though he drank a lot, was still sober thanks to being used to drinking a lot, be it wine or beer, Joseph could handle almost all the types of drink.

When the party finally ended, all of the Nobles prepared to leave the Ball, with them heading to the Guest Rooms of Grimhilde's Royal Palace, where they would spend the night as guests before departing.

Joseph, seeing the opportunity, tried to escape from the Ball as quickly as possible with his Personal Guard, but before he could do so, 3 Grimhilde's Palace Guards came to him.

"Lord Vion Farquaad, Your Royal Majesty, Queen Grimhilde invites you to negotiate with you." Said one of Grimhilde's Guards as he bowed to Joseph.

'Scheiße' Joseph thought with concern in his mind, he didn't know if Grimhilde would try something with him or just try to make negotiations favorable to her since Joseph was "drunk".

"Very well, lead the way," Joseph said as he fixed his composure, soon following Grimhilde's Guaedas while he had his own Guards behind him.

When he arrived in a room that looked like it was hastily prepared for a "negotiation", Joseph saw Queen Grimhilde sitting in a chair while being served tea by a servant.

"Ah, you came just in time, Lord von Farquaad, please sit down" Grimhilde said with a calm smile on her face as she pointed to the chair opposite her.

Joseph bowed to Grimhilde before sitting down in the chair, while on the outside he was calm, on the inside he was worried, preparing to take out the gun he had hidden if necessary.

"Your Royal Majesty, what would you like to negotiate with me about?" asked Joseph as he calmly looked at Grimhilde, with a fake smile being placed on his face.

Grimhilde just smiled before starting to speak, in a calm voice.

"I would like to form an economic partnership with Duloc, the Lordship of Duloc has been developing quite quickly from what I have been told, although I do not understand developing the Villages and Towns, after all, they are not its Capital, I would like the Kingdom of Heart and Duloc had long-term trade agreements where both could prosper" Grimhilde said while creating an excuse.

Grimhilde's true goal was not just to make business deals, but also to spend more time alone with Joseph.

She wanted to get to know more and more the handsome Lord who had an ambitious look hidden behind the face of a good person.

She liked how her charms weren't working on him...liking it too much, in a very dangerous way.

"Hmmm" Joseph thought about it, it really wouldn't hurt to have economic partners, Duloc would need to find other ways to make money to ensure that he survives economically.

"I accept, Your Royal Majesty, we will just have to discuss what this economic partnership will be like, discuss the content of the documents, etc." Joseph said seriously while nodding his head, agreeing with what Grimhilde proposed.

Grimhilde really liked this, but then she was a little confused about the part of the document.

"Documents?" Grimhilde asked, confused.

"Yes....documents, to make our Economic Partnership official" Joseph said while he was now confused, didn't the concept of documents and contracts exist by chance?

But seeing Grimhilde's confusion, this could really work in his favor.

'Hah! I have a golden chance!' She thought Joseph was laughing at his mind, thinking that she could use this to deceive people who didn't know the idea of contracts and documents.

In the end, what was supposed to be just a "date" created by Grimhilde to try to get close to Joseph, will end in something that will secretly seal the economic fate of the Kingdom of Heart.
