5 Chapter 5: Emissary of Grimhilde.

In Duloc, the city was finally complete thanks to everyone's hard work, you could see that people were happy with what was happening, with their lives changing for the better.

Walking through the streets was a man of tall stature, black hair, white skin tanned by the sun, with the most striking being his bright green eyes, which showed a deep seriousness, with him wearing the uniform of the newly created Duloc City Police Department (DCPD), in addition to the Custodian Hat, with the iron tip, making it very similar to the Pickelhaube of the Dulocian Army that was being created.

This was none other than Thelonious, former executioner and now the Captain of the DCPD and Minister-President of the Duloc Police General-Ministry, a Ministry created by Joseph to manage all the Police Departments that would exist in the Lordship of Duloc.

Thelonious has been trained for several months to do this, and he will ensure that his work is done well, anyone who breaks the law or goes against Joseph's rule will suffer justice.

He was now patrolling the streets, even if it was not his job, he decided to do it to better know how the situation was in the streets of Duloc.

'Nothing unusual during the 2 hours of patrol that I had, that's good' Thought Thelonious while looking at the people walking in the streets.

In Joseph's "Palace" Office.

Joseph could be seen laughing nonstop, in front of him was a bag that had a certain black powder, which was the reason for his laughter and happiness.

"Finally! Finally, I did it!" Said Joseph happily, after a lot of work to get the materials and negotiate with certain merchants, he got the ingredients to "Cook" what he needed to create Gunpowder.

'Now I can create a real army! Muahahahaha' Joseph was laughing in his mind without stopping before someone knocked on the door, making him snap out of his daydream.

"In between!" Said Joseph as he sat in the chair at his table and looked seriously at the door, but before that, he fixed the ridiculous hat on his head.

'Damn it, I always forget to fix this hair and my clothes!' Joseph thought angrily, he had completely forgotten to take care of his beauty, becoming more focused on work than appearance.

Oliver, who is wearing the High-Ranking Prussian Military Uniform with some medals, then enters his office, bowing to Joseph respectfully.

"Mi'lord, I came here to let you know that an Emissary from a Kingdom came to Duloc a few hours ago, he came along with some Guards and wants to do certain business with you" Said Oliver while he still had his head down, not daring to look in the eyes of his Lord.

This caught Joseph's attention, causing him to become completely serious.

"What is the name of this Kingdom?" Joseph asked while looking seriously at Oliver.

"The name of the Kingdom is the Kingdom of Heart, the Diplomat I come in the name of Queen Grimhilde" Oliver replied.

This made Joseph surprised, he knows very well what this Kingdom is, this is the Kingdom that lives in Snow White, Grimhilde is the Evil Queen that everyone knows in Fairy Tales.

This made him wonder why Queen Grimhilde would want to send an Emissary to Duloc, as it wasn't even a Kingdom, but "just" an Independent Lordship.

"Do you know why the Emissary is here?" Joseph asked Oliver.

Oliver shook his head to say "no", which made Joseph sigh.

"Send him in and leave some Soldiers here in case something happens" Joseph ordered, with Oliver nodding and leaving the office to do his job.

Soon the Office had 4 Dulocian Soldiers, they were wearing the famous Prussian Military Uniform along with the Pickelhaube on their heads, and they had sabers at their waist, ready to be drawn if necessary.

The only thing different about their Uniform was the Pickelhaube, which instead of having the Prussian Eagle, had a Double-Headed Eagle, each head having a crown on top of it.

Then a man enters Joseph's Office with 2 Guards, the man wears "chic" medieval clothes, with a short beard, a necklace around his neck, blue eyes, and black hair.

"Lord Farquaad, it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Emissary John, I'm here on behalf of Her Royal Majesty, Queen Grimhilde" Said John as he bowed to Joseph in respect.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir, tell me, why did you come to my lands?" Joseph asked as he looked seriously at John.

The Emissary then takes a long parchment from his belt and begins to read it aloud to Joseph.

''Dear Lord Farquaad, you are being invited to the Your Royal Majesty's Royal Ball for Queen Grimhilde, Queen of the Kingdom of Heart, to celebrate her birthday, all the Kings and Lords of the Region were also invited" Said the Emissary before putting away his parchment and looking at Joseph waiting for his answer.

Joseph was surprised by this, but soon he began to think seriously about the matter, which was good because he could learn more about who the Kings and Queens were and what Kingdoms exist, who could be his possible allies, who would remain neutral and who would be the enemies of him immediately when he started to want to expand.

Those who are against him and his path towards creating an Empire or rather...Reich, would pay dearly for it.

"I accept the invitation, can you tell me when the Royal Ball will take place?" asked Joseph as he looked at the Emissary.

"It will be in 3 months, Your Excellency" replied the emissary.

Joseph nodded his head, with nothing else to say, the Emissary bowed to Joseph before leaving with his guards.

Now alone, after sending the Guards away, Joseph began to think about the uniform he would wear, he will have to prepare everything for the Ball, in addition to cutting his hair.
