We plan the wedding. We didn't want anything big. So we just rented out a place for in two weeks. I know getting hitched at 19 seems stupid. But both of us are stupid in our own way.

"Alright so in a week we're gonna have to call everyone." Freedom said.

"Do your parents know?" I ask her.

"No, I haven't visited them in a week."

"Ah."

ONE WEEK LATER...

Freedom reminded me through text to call people. My dad and Kailani know (obviously).

"Alright time to call Lisa."

"Hey friend how are you?" I say.

"Hey I'm aight how are you?"

"Fantastic."

"That terrifies me, you never say anything more than okay. What happened?"

"Freedom and I are getting hitched next week and I want you to be my Best Lady. I was gonna ask my dad to be Best Man, but you're my best friend. Had to ask you."

"NO WAY! WHAT DAY BRO?"

"Saturday."

"Perfect! I'll let Dvonte know."

"I wanna tell him myself. I want to hear him go nuts."

"Aight love you bro. Congrats!"

Alright time to call Dvonte.

"Yo bro how are ya?" I say

"YOOOOOO! I'm doing good. Top Wide Receiver in college ball wooooooooooooo! How bout you?"

"Amazing!"

"Yo what happened? Did you see the rise in Zhaelonistahn Electric again?"

"No. Freedom and I are getting hitched next Saturday. Can you come?"

"Did you know next week was my bye week? But h*ll yeah I'll come!"

"Sick. See ya bro."

"See ya my dude!"

Next I'll call Kaido. I'm not gonna call Karen though blegh.

"Hey Kaido! How's being a small forward?"

"It's fun I guess. How are ya brotha?"

"Superb."

"OH GOD WHAT'S WRONG!"

"Freedom and I are getting hitched next Saturday can you come?"

"Defo dude."

"Will you tell Karen?"

"Sure."

"I know she's in your room with you right now."

"I'LL COME!" she said through the phone.

Last but not least it's Josh.

"Yo Josh howrya doin?" He's the reason why my southern accent I got from my mom comes out sometimes. Though around everyone else we talk like californians because that's how they talk in English classes and how people round here typically talk when they learn English.

"I'm alright whatchall doin back in Tokyo and all y'all back there?"

"We been doin pretty great. I got news firya."

"What kinda news?"

"Freedom n I are gettin hitched next Saturday."

"Congrats, am I invited?"

"Duh."

"Aight I'll come brother."
