I'm Just An Ambiverted Dude

In 2050. A dude kinda just exists and interacts with his friends, family, teachers, coworkers, and other random people. In all, 18 year old Denshi Aoyama lives in a future in which Japan has been a part of the USA for 20 years where they mostly speak English and guns are legal. He works at a Del Burrito and looking for love. Enjoy? And for those that aren't gonna read this because it doesn't have many chapters. I'll try to post a chapter daily. At the very least 4 chapters a week unless circumstances don't allow. AND IF YOU ENJOY PLEASE COMMENT.... Even if you don't.

Chapter 2

I wished that I wouldn't see her today, now I won't be able to focus on work. This beautiful tomboy here is Katerina Ivanov, Lisa's cousin in her sophomore year in college. She normally clocks out at 12 pm, but I guess she has the day off from school today since she barely clocked out and it's 1 pm. My work day isn't that interesting so I'll just give more cringy backstory I guess.

I've liked Katerina ever since 10th grade when she moved here from Oregon, but she's never given me the time of day. I joined the MMA club to get closer to her in 10th grade, but I got sent to the hospital once so my parents forced me to quit. Lisa tried to get me close to her, but Katerina just doesn't like me. I asked her out once before in that same year since she was a senior, but she said that she'd never date anyone that's dated a relative of her's. I dated Lisa in 9th grade for like 2 months and it was casual. No sparks flew, and we mutually broke up. She was even the one that proposed to split first. I know my chances with Katerina are just straight up non-existent, but a guy can dream right...

3 hours pass by...

"OPEN THE REGISTER!" some pissed off lady with a mask and beanie pointed a pistol at me. I did what I was told and after that I asked,"Why would you rob a Del Burrito on a Friday afternoon in Tokyo, when there's 3 banks across the street?" "Don't ask questions and put the money in the bag! Ugh!" the woman said. I did what she told me. That voice felt WAYYYYYYYYY too familiar for my liking. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get shot. But after the lady left I tried to recollect her physical features that I could distinguish even with her mask and beanie on. The first thing I noticed was her muscular body, it was ripped. Her hair also didn't peep out of the beanie, so her hair was definitely on the short side. She also was taller than the average Japanese woman. She was at least 5 ft. 8 inches. And the last thing I noticed was her voice...

Her voice sounded just like Katerina's.

That is pretty freaky if you ask me...
