Chapter 18

Thursday nothing important happens at all. I don't wanna waste you watcher's time. Filler with 1% plot wouldn't interest you (there goes my potential insanity again YAY). Same thing with everyday until Monday comes around. My replacement glasses came in FINALLY. It felt weird but seeing the world in 480 p for so long and then it finally going back to 2160 p feels like a rush. I can finally read without walking back 20 feet to see the words on the register.

After school since it's my off day I do something, Freedom has 6 classes unfortunately so I gotta wait for her but something big comes up. With my reward money, since they gave it to me already taxed (it was 5k when taxed out). I walk to the nearby Farde dealership and I put a 2k dollar down payment on my dream car, the 2050 Farde Firebird, this year they finally brought it back after they discontinued it in 2001, (they were supposed to bring it back in 2022 but it never happened). It's such a sleek beautiful car, in a nice fuchsia color. It has access to Spatifry, you can tell it where you need it to go, 4 wheel drive, It's a hybrid car, and a lot of other modern stuff in it. It's got all the modern industry standards.

I also paid for the next 3 months which is 300 per month. I've had a driver's license for a while now and now I can finally use it. I also pay for a year's worth of car insurance, would rather have it done in one go.

After everything was all done and finished. I post on Instargraf me and my new ride. My dad was all like "it's your money so do whatever you want with it as long as you leave a grand for food." So I did just so lol. Leases are great.

I tell Freedom about it through text since her last period is just Spanish and she says no one really pays attention in that class. She asks me to drive her today. It's only fair I mean she drove last week.

I tell her to send me her address so I can pick her up.

I wonder how bad this decision is...

I go to pick her up and her mom is there. "Is this your boyfriend? For what reason is he pickin you up? Ya have a car." she asks, she's an older lady, probably knocking on 50, and is definitely older than the dad by at least 8 years. Respect man.

"I picked him up last date, so he is this date." Freedom replied

"Okay just be careful you two."

"We will miss thank you." I said.

We go to the gym first cuz gotta get boof.

We leave like 2 hours later.

Then I take her to my favorite ramen place, it's also this beat up hole in the wall shack lookin place.

"Have you asked your friends about bowling? I already did." she said.

"Dang I forgot, one sec."

I text in my best friends (plus Karen) group on Uncord. I ask them if they'd like to go play bowling on Saturday. They'll answer eventually.

We chat for a bit and on the way back I take her to a skyscraper. My dad's company just completed it like a month ago.

"Now this is a view of the whole city!" She says with one of the most beautiful smiles, I've never seen her smile like this, and to see her with full vision like this was amazing.

We take a selfie with the view. Thank you 2050 phone cameras.

Afterwards, I take her home and drop her off.

"8 o clock, before curfew that's good."Her father said. He also seemed impressed that I have a car.

I make it home and my dad just got home from work (them 12 hour work days are rough). He sees my car and says.

"At least you got good taste." he said. He also understood that I needed a car. Walking everywhere was not ideal for me nor for him, his Tasla has to charge and sometimes he needs me to pick stuff up for him. We then watch the Football game of the Jackson Hippos versus the Omaha Huskers. Hippos won 47-20 dang. Our quarterback is sheeeeeesh...
