Where is she??
"But didn't you just checked their bodies... there was no device right?"
"Yes but this is a special device it is made of a substance that dissolves in the blood when burst.
"What now?"
The machine in which she place the blood beeped.
DING
She turned and checked the results.
"Ohh... they didn't die of food poisoning but of poisoning. They were given a poison which kills them but shows that they died of food poisoning."
"I think I should replace the medical staff"
"He's a genius...so no one will be able to know about his thought and methods"
"Except you"
"He's second after all"
"That's why they sent you... coz your first and only the person who can beat the second place is the first" She didn't say anything and just smiled.
"We are still checking on how the poison got into their bodies"
"Okay then I'll leave..." saying she started packing her stuff and walked out. He followed her out of the room. She suddenly stopped.
"I've handled the CCTV you dont need to do anything"
He looked at her till her figure was no longer seen. After walking out of the hospital she went home, took a shower and went to sleep.
The next day Ruo Bei was waiting for her at 6:20 in his balcony but he didn't see her. Every day he would wait for her to come out and watch her run. But today she didn't come. Why? He waited for 2 hours but she still didn't come out. Then he went to her house and rang the bell but no one opened the door. He rang it again for a few more times but still no response.
He went to his house with large strides. Walking through his room he went to his balcony and tried to peek in but couldn't see anything. Now his patience was on the last brick so he just jumped from his balcony to hers. But the moment he did that, the security alarm turned on. Well he didn't know that as this was Lucy's alarm so only Natasha could hear or see it. When he entered the room he stiffened.
He saw a beautiful baby face sleeping peacefully on the bed. She was sleeping like a baby. Then his gaze fell on her side table. Her wrist watch was beeping but only light and no sound came from it.
He went near her to check the watch but the moment he took three steps he froze. The girl in front of him had opened her eyes and looking at him coldly and alert.
She had already woken up when he stepped in and the alarm buzzed off. But she feigned her sleep to see who it was. She was very sensitive to her surroundings...that's what she learned.
The look in her eyes was cold and alert which was similar to his whenever he wakes up by some intrusion.
'How can she have that look in her eyes.'
He looked at her with suspicion. That look lasted just for a second and she was back to herself when she saw the face of the intruder. But he still saw it.
"What are you doing here?" she asked sitting up.
"Are you alright?" that were the words that came out of his mouth.
"Haa? Hmmm I'm good...why?"
"Still sleeping"
"That I just slept late at night so.."
"Why?" Before coming here he met the guard and he told him about her going out at night....no it should be early morning. Actually they saw a bike that went out from her garage and again came later and went to her house so they assumed that it was her as no one went in and came out of her house. He didn't know why she went out so late.
"Umm....work?..I had some work" Well she didn't lie anyway she just told half the truth. He didnt say anything and just looked at her. He didn't know why she wasn't telling him the truth..but if she doesn't wanna say she wont even if he asked. So he just thought of asking his people about it.
"Get ready and come down. I'll make something for you"
"Okay" Saying she went to the bathroom and he went down.
He called the his assistant to know the progress of his search. He got to know that she went to the Life hospital. But there was nothing in the CCTV of the hospital... it was clear as if she didn't even enter the hospital she just disappeared. The CCTV near the hospital shows that she went in but the CCTV in the hospital says that she didn't. Who should he believe. What the hell is going on?
"What do you mean she went in but she didnt at the same time..are you even listening to yourself...You can't even find a person?" he hung up and went in.
His hands were working but his brain was working too. He couldn't stop thinking about it. His mind was in a chaos. He knew that she was hiding something from the beginning but what and why. There he saw Mini and thought of something. No one knew what was in his mind now.
"Mini?" he called out
"Yes Ruo Bei do you need any help?"
"Do you always make food for her when she doesn't go out?"
"Yes I do"
"Then what about her health. Do you take care of her health too."
"Yes....I do but she just doesn't listen to me"
"Why?"
"Because she's stubborn" He didn't get what he wanted so he changed the style of his question.
"What about yesterday...did she had her dinner and good sleep?"
"She had dinner yesterday but not enough sleep she just slept for three hours."
Hearing that Ruo Bei frowned.
"Why?"
"She was in the music room till two then went to her room to sleep but again after a few minutes she went out."
