Chapter 11: Partner

RICH'S POV:

I got so excited going to school all of a sudden. Unlike before, I won't go there to get attention and to hear compliments.

A little I guess..

But not the same as before.

This time, what I aim is to STUDY for real...

Of course, to impress Warren.

I don't want him to think I'm a good for nothing beautiful but a no brainer lady.

For myself too..I know I'm a born clever girl but I accepted the fact that there are thing I don't really know.

Like the MDASH, MPAS or whatever that is.

I'll prove him how perfect I am.

Well, I still appreciate and love my fans though. I atleast give them a wave and smile whenever they greeted me.

I really can't force them not to admire and like me..

because its TOTALLY unavoidable..

And Warren...

He's just an alien..

I smiled.

But I want him..

And I always get what I want...

Hemsford heiress always get what she wants..

I giggled.

I suddenly heard several knocks on the door. "Come in." I said.

"Are crows turned white already without my knowledge? You woke up so early and your done

preparing. What's happening? Is it your birthday or something?" Elsa asked non-stop.

I rolled my eyes. "Elsa, relax!" I irritably stop her." I just feel like waking up early. Is there a problem with that??" I raised my brows.

"None! I was just wondering." She smiled. "You seemed to look glowing too. Is there some you wanna tell me?" She said with wiggling brows.

I smiled widely. "None." I shrugged.

She shook her head with smiling face. "Just tell me when your ready. Oh! by the way.." She stopped. Avoiding my eyes all of a sudden. "Your Dad.. He wants to talk to you when he comes back from his business trip." My heart jumped in shocked.

"Really??" I asked with so much happiness.

He might have seen my letter and agreed to it.

I got all excited and I smiled wider.

But for some reason Elsa don't look happy with it.

She seemed to be tensed and nervous.

I shrugged.

Well, she always look that way whenever Dad calls for me. Because she knows I'll be scolded big time whenever that happened. But now, I'm pretty confident that it's not the case.

It's because of my letter.

I'm sure...

"Chill Elsa. You look tense again. Loosen up a bit sometimes. " I hold her two hands and swayed her around.

She's gleeing and laughing the whole time. I winked at her after and assured her that everything will be okay.

She just smiled forcefully.

"I'll go back to the kitchen. Your breakfast is ready, so go down stairs." She ordered.

I just gave her a salute and she walked away shaking her head.

I chuckled. That lady worries about me so much and I'm so grateful for that..

I got more pumped and energized.

Lets get it on..

I glanced at myself from the mirror for the last time and went down stairs to have my breakfast.

After that I grabbed my LV latest designer bag and headed straight to the car.

Manong instantly started the engine and made its way to school.

We arrived right away in 15 minutes.

I jumped out my car and walked immediately to my room. I reached it in no time. But before entering, I wore my perfect smile and entered the classroom.

All guys gathered instantly in front and greeted me good morning.

Of course except for one stupid guy.

You know who is it..

I just nodded at them while stretching my neck.

Looking for the alien, of course..

I suddenly pushed them aside and out of my way when I saw a girl obviously flirting with Warren. I got all mad and irritated.

What the fuck is she doing in my seat? With my Warren?

Warren on the other hand looks so uninterested but still being kind and answering her questions.

She clung around Warren's arm all of a sudden. Brushing her boobs against his body.

My brows arched itself uncontrollably.

I guess this lady don't wanna live her life anymore.

In just a second I already in front of them. Glaring at her without blinking. I don't know if she didn't really notice or she's just pretending not to see me but I'm getting really mad at this already. I gripped my hands as she continuously flirt with Warren.

I want to slap her face right there and then but I controlled myself.

I cleared my throat and made myself more obvious but she still didn't mind.

I'm fucking losing my patience!!

This will be the last time...

"Can you get lost?" I said in a calm manner and forced smile. She looked at me from top to bottom and vice versa. She leered at me and stand up lazily taking her rightful seat.

I put my bag down in Warren's desk and I get my disinfectant. I sprayed it to my desk and chair to remove all the germs lingering there because of her. I obviously did that on purpose to annoy her and I know she looking my direction.

You deserve that bitch!

I slouched myself on the chair and get my bag on Warren's desk.

I sneered at Warren and he arched his brow in confusion.

Our teacher entered the room and greeted us good morning.

"I'll be pairing you guys into two. We'll be having group activities for the rest of week." He said. "So here are the list of pairs.

Of course boys wants to be paired with me and girls wants to be paired with Warren.

He called the names of the pairs.

Well, I know who exactly my partner will be.

"Warren will be paired with...." I prepared myself to stand up because I know its me..

Say my name. Damn it!

.....What takes him so long

Its Rich...Rich, come on!

"Ayesha."

My ears suddenly got deafed.,

Did I heard it right?,

She clapped and glee with so much happiness as she walked her way to the Warren's side. Which also confirmed what I heard it correctly.

What the!..This a big mistake!

I..I can't believe this..

It's the same lady who flirted with Warren a while ago. I glared at our teacher with so much anger in my eyes but he's too busy to notice.

The girl named Ayesha clung into Warren's arm immediately and proudly make the girls envy with her. She even glanced at me and smirked in my face.

I want to pull the strands of her hair off until all of them are gone in so much anger. I gripped my fist again.

The teacher suddenly called my name. "Rich, you'll be paired with.... Adam." He said with a smile and I want to punch his face. I didn't move nor look at that Adam's face. I just felt someone went into my side.

I sighed and crossed my arms in front of me.

"Remember your partner and we'll start the activity tomorrow." He said and I can't help myself but to rolled my eyes at him. "Now go back to your seat and will start the class." Everyone goes back to their seat except Ayesha.

I'm really losing my temper.

I saw Warren removed Ayesha's arm. "Moved." He ordered with no expression on his face. Ayesha got shocked with what Warren did.

He glared at her when she still refused to go back and she can't do anything but to stomped her feet away from him.

I laughed at her in my head..

But that's not enough. She's still his partner. Damn!

I was just sad the whole time our teacher gave his lecture. I don't even have the strength to talk to Warren.

Mixed emotion..

Anger, pain, jealousy, disappointment, dismay and a lot more.

Tears start to form in my eyes.

I don't know why I feel like I wanted to cry all of a sudden..

Am I really that jealous??

No! I shouldn't be affected by a good for nothing girl.

I wiped my tears.

I'm not low..

The bell rang signaling lunch break. I grabbed my bag right away and stood up.

I'm going home! I don't feel like finishing the class.

I felt a hand on my wrist.

I turned my head at him and asked, "What?!" I yelled.

"Your forgetting something. We're not done with the lesson last time yet." He made me remember.

"I...I don't want to study that anymore." I said but I regret it right away.

"Are you kidding me genius?" He said sarcastically. I bit my lips.

"I'm not. I'm go...going home. Why don't you teach your partner instead." I can't helped but say the real reason why I'm acting that way.

He arched his brows. "And what's that supposed to mean?" He asked and I don't know if its just my imagination but I saw a small smile forming in his lips.

"Nothing." I tried to turn away but he gripped my wrist even more.

"Lets go! Don't waste my time!" He pulled my wrist by force and I, don't have a choice but to be carried away. I felt butterflies in my stomach. Just by looking at his hand holding mine.

Its like every tiny anger I felt a while ago had escape from my body.

This is how vulnerable and stupid I am when it comes to Warren.

He entered the pantry and pulled me down to sit. Then he released my wrist.

"I thought we're heading to the library." I asked in confusion.

"I'm hungry. Lets eat first before studying. So your brain will function properly." He informed me. While biting the burger that came from his backpack.

"What? Are you saying my brain is not functioning properly." I asked and he just shrugged.

I sneered at him.

"Eat!" He ordered.

"I don't have the appetite." I said in a sad tone.

He divided his burger into two and gave me the other half.

I felt thrilled and all of a sudden I got hungry. I immediately snatched the burger from him. Before he might change his mind.

I ate it with so much feelings.

I had never tasted any burger that can be compared to how delicious this was. The tastiest burger ever!

"You really don't have the appetite, do you?!" He gave me another sarcasm.

"Where did you bought this? Its so goddamn delicious." I ignored what he said.

"Huh? I made it." He answered.

"Really? Not bad." I answered back.

That's probably the reason why it's so tasty because he personally made it for me.

"Look what we have hear!" I heard a voice from my back.

I turned my head. Its Althea, Donna and Andrea.

Althea pulled a chair and sat beside me. Donna and Andrea did the same thing.

"I was so surprise we're not on the same class Rich and you didn't do anything about it. That's pretty odd knowing you." Althea humored.

I got shocked with her attack. I don't want Warren to suspect.

"I just want to try it without you guys and besides I have Warren there." He just nodded.

"That was more odd, for someone who hates Warren before." She eyed at Warren. "Don't you think that's weird?" Althea asked him.

I got nervous. Althea is plotting something obviously.

Good thing Warren just shrugged about the idea.

"By the way, have you heard about our up coming University Dance?" Donna opened the topic.

"Yeah, it will be more exciting than last year. According to my source." Andrea added. "And the most thrilling part is the announcement of the Queen of our University." She said.

"It will still be Rich for sure." Donna said.

"We're not so sure about that." Althea said with a smirk and confidence on her face and I, on the other hand arched my brows.

"And why is that?" I asked in curiosity.

"We should go. Lets see each other next time." She bid goodbye.

What did she mean by that?!

Should I worried about it??
