I'm In Korea, How and Why?

Choehabu wakes in a black space. Light touches nothing, only shadows remain. An indeterminate amount of time transpires before a ball of light brings Choehabu into a new world. A world based off of Korea, but with a few differences. A new world awaits him, one that will bring him to the highest peaks, and the lowest depts. Currently canceled. If this were to begin again, I'd start at the beginning and construct a different and better world because holy shit, was this awful.

There's Something In Here With Me

The barrel is pointed at me as he pulls the trigger. The bullet rips through air and flesh, hitting the left side of the lower intestine. A warm pain slowly creeps through the body, but it is unheeded. Without thinking my legs start moving. He goes to pull the trigger again yet the bullet misses. He seems confused, but it won't last long.

He pulls the trigger again and again, missing all shots. He keeps shooting where he think's I'll be instead of where I will be, and through this distinction most bullets to fly through the corridor, missing me. After enough shots, his anger gets to him and he holds down the trigger.

More misdirection, more sidestepping, more narrow dodges, and eventually he's out of ammo. Fast as Lighting I'm in front of him. The next instant he's sent flying from a drop kick. He's sent into the wall three meters behind him, taking with him the rifle.

Now that he's out for the count, I look at my wounds. There's the intestinal one that, looking at my back, luckily caused an exit wound. There's three more I didn't realize, one that hit right under the left collarbone, one that went under the right seventh rib, and lastly one that broke where the sternum and collar bones met.

I try moving to see if there was any hindrance to movement. There's some hindrance but it's negligible with Gi.

Stepping through the open door a room is presented to me. Black in colour and depressive in haze, this room has seen terrible things. In the room was the two men that brought Hana away, and seven other men, who all have the same type of Rifle that the other one had. They raise their rifles while I took in the situation.

They pull the trigger and bullets spew forth like a great hurricane. It's too much for me to dodge all of them. Limbs gets shot asunder, eye goes haywire, pain overflows, the body is too slow, too weak. Then, suddenly the world slows down. The bullets go from unavoidable death, to petty nerf bullets.

There's a change in my Gi. It no longer feels like a boundless and eternal circuit, a generator. No, now it feels as if a battery, one with high drainage.

A thick dark haze surrounds me, giving off such bloodlust that startles even me. The seven men falter for a moment but a moment is all that's needed.

Quick as a flash I'm over there. The first man's face fills with surprise before its punched off. The headless body stands for a moment, not knowing what to do, before falling over. Another man falls, his hips shattered by a single kick.

The final five men try to turn in time, yet it's already too late. A fist through the chest, a kick that shatters spines, palm strike sending the ribs into lungs and heart, A chomp that removes half the skull, and lastly the most fun one. Grabbing the last man's skull with both hands, one on each side, I slowly bring them together for a clap.

His eyes were full of fear as he registered what was happening, and then his eyes escaped, flying off to the moon. His skull giblets go everywhere with some landing on me. A true laugh escapes me. I fall to the ground, laughing silly.

How much joy this is. I'm having the time of my life. Why should I stop with these seven men, there are three more. Even the little girl, why should she be exempt. A fist of my own stops these thoughts in their tract. The brain is rattled and the overflowing Gi is cut off as if a circuit broke.

A deep breath in, a deep breath out, repeat. Once calm, I start asking myself questions. Why would I think that? What caused me to think that? It only started after my Gi changed in quantity, is that why? Does... doing whatever just happened cause me to be like that? And if so, is it because of the Gi, or because it's a part of myself.

I shake my head and look over to Hana and the two men. Or, only Hana now, the two men escaped, probably running for their lives. I head over to Hana and take the bag off her head.

Looking into her face I see tears in her eyes, the twin tails messed up, a cut on her cheek, and terror the overwhelms my instincts. I grab her head and put it into my chest, whispering while stroking her hair, "It's okay, It's okay, Choehabu Oppa is here. They won't hurt you anymore, no one will hurt you."

Those words release a dam she had built up and a flood of tears starts pouring. Wailing sobs echo in the terrible room. If I weren't already soaked, I would've been.

"Choehabu oppa, why did you take so long?"

Those words bring tears to my eyes too, and I can't reply. Who could? I hoist her into a princes carry, keeping her head and more importantly, eyes, snug in my shoulder. No one should see the carnage that tore through here. She tiredly whispers with a near broken voice, "Thank you, thank you oppa."

I step over the bodies, through the blood, and into the hall. *Step, Step, Step* echo through the now vacant warehouse. Once in the main Warehouse part, the sounds of wailing police sirens are heard. I stop walking and wait for the police to walk through the door.

Three officers enters through the door, two men and one woman. The men get a queasy look to their faces while the woman stays stone-faced. Upon seeing me and Hana in my arms, the woman calls out, "Are you Choehabu and Hana?"

A nod, "Yes, I'm Choehabu, this is Hana. Am I allowed to carry her outside? I don't want her to see," I gesture with my head, "any of this."

The Officer thinks for a moment before speaking, "You can do that, but as soon as you're outside, we're questioning you."

Gave her a nod and continued walking. Outside are seven police cruisers, they really went all out for her. I whisper into Hana's ears, "It's okay to open you eyes now. I'm going to have to put you down now."

"Wait, why? Why aren't we going home?"

I smile, "Don't worry, you're going home. The police just need someone to testify as to what happened. I'll join you soon."

She looks into my eyes, piercing blue eyes looking into my very soul. After a minute of silence, she finally speaks, "Alright, but pinky promise. Pinky promise you'll be back soon", holding out a pinky.

I take her pinky and intertwine it with mine before bringing my thumb to my lips. She brings her thumb to her lips too and I swear, "I'll join you soon."

I let her down and one of the officers calls for her. Hana runs over and gets into the cruiser that after a minute, drives off. She looks at me through the rear view window. I keep a smile on my face until the cruiser is no longer visible.

Once she's out of sight, I throw up once more, mainly due to the pieces of human brain and bone that I ate. Removing anything of that nature from my stomach, I stand and finally ask the officer, "What are you wanting to know?"

The female officer responds while pulling out a notepad and pen, "I'm just going to ask a few questions, is that alright?"

"Yeah."

"So why did you come here?"

Ooh, starting out strong, "I came here because I thought my sister would be here."

She writes something down, "Did you throw the first punch?"

"No."

I receive a quizzical look but she continues, "Was all of you actions in self defense?"

I don't immediately respond. Taking a few seconds to think through my actions, all of them; only one wasn't in self defense. "All besides one."

"And what would this 'one' action be?"

"When the doorman locked the warehouse down after I asked if Hana was there."

She writes down more things while we stand. After a minute, she asks her final question, "Did you assault the warehouse?"

"It could be seen as such."

Finishing up whatever she was writing she says, "Alright, you're free to go. Would you like us to drop you off at your house?"

"You're not taking me into custody?"

"Would you rather we do?"

"No, I guess not."

I get into the back of the female officer's police cruiser and get drive home. Lost in thought, I start thinking of random things. What happened in the black room, how I was able to bite a chunk from the man's head, and how the police got there so fast.

Only one of those questions can be answered by someone other than me so I ask, "How did you get there so fast? It took me over four hours to get there and I was constantly moving."

She glances at me through the rearview mirror before looking back tot he road and replying, "I can't disclose that information. Just know that Officer Xin put in a recommendation that we should move faster than usual. You can thank her."

A funny little feeling starts in my chest. Thanks, Xin.

I forgot to finish this up yesterday. Sorry.
