"Learn more."

Cannot open map?
1. Area is not registered
2. A relic is preventing the map from activating. Turn off the relic before trying again
<learn more about relics?>

'I see..'
In the novel maps were often used by characters to obviously look for a certain place or location. But there are moments where these maps cannot be opened/used.
An example was when a group of heroes or what we call a 'guild' went on monster hunt and encountered a rival guild which set up a trap for the guild to end up in a completely unknown place wherein they opened their maps, and the same error that appeared in front of me appeared in front of them as well.
They thought the reason why the map could not be opened was because the place wasn't registered since none of them were familiar with it, but it was actually because there was a traitor among them who brought a relic that could prevent them from using their maps.
The traitor knew the way out, but the group didn't. So he led the group to dangerous places until they grew tired and eventually met their demise.
The outcome? Well, only the traitor made it out alive.
And after getting out of the place he acted like a victim and made up a story. He also pretended to mourn for his dead "comrades" and ofcourse, people believed him and even sympathized with him.
'There's no way this place is unregistered. So it must be a relic preventing the map.'
"Back to menu."

I'll deal with that later.
I decided to look at something else for now.
"Character's profile"

"What.."
"No way.."
I stared at the screen for a few seconds.
'Daniel Caleen?'
'I'm Daniel Caleen?'
'Why does he look like me? No, why is he me? This can't be a coincidence or is it?'
Daniel Caleen.
The main character who died in the novel i was reading.
'I did know we had similar features based on the novel's descriptions about him but i didn't expect him to actually look like me..'
'Could it be that the author is someone i know?'
'Was I the inspiration for this character?'
My eyes trailed down to the 'C. Skills and abilities'

It may not look like much but if you compare it to an average human's basic skills which would look like this:

Basic skills:
Battle Comprehension (12)
Physical Strength (6)
Mental strength (10)
Spiritual strength (8)
Sorcery mastery (0)
Pain tolerance (15)

Then you could say Daniel Caleen's or 'my' skills would be impressive.
Highest skill grade which is something no one has yet accomplished is 150.
Although im totally not expecting.. I've got a long way to go.

Ah I've seen these in the no-
Crunch!
...
I heard the sound of dry leaves being crushed as if somebody accidentally stepped on it.
If it was back in my world i would've ignored it but if it's here it's a completely different story.
'I forgot how dangerous this world actually is.'
I didn't move. Instead, i looked for any source of movement in my surroundings by using my 5 senses while pretending not to know about it.
And there it was.
I don't know what it is but a pair of red eyes with horizontal pupils is watching me behind the bush to my right.
