I'm His Only Love
When Audra's mum dies, she goes back home, even knowing she would finally have to face his first love, Chris – who’s also his foster brother. After what appears to have been a pretty painful breakup, they’ve been avoiding each other over the past 11 years. But will the pain of the loss bring them back together? Or would the bad memories be too much? The journey from here only gets more eventful, when her mum leaves a surprise condition on her will that would turn Audra’s life around.
A ROCKY START
*Audra's POV, Past*
My mom gave us four a ride to town as she was heading to meet with a friend. The guys chatted happily about the game while Claire and I listened.
Poor Claire was still a bundle of nerves after Kyle almost spit out the word date. I could understand her nerves as she had been working hard to calm her nerves by convincing herself it was just a 'friendly group date'.
She hesitatively stole glances at Kyle past me as her hands curled unconsciously in fists grabbing the dress in her lap, she insisted I sat in the middle seat in between both of them when we entered the car.
Seeing her like that made me feel bad for her, but it was also starting to rub off on me. Not for me exactly, (although this would be my first official date with Chris as well) but because if she kept up this anxiousness she was having, she was not gonna be able to enjoy herself, and I would be concerned for her the whole time.
