1 I'm Gojo

In a modest bedroom filled with darkness, a young man lay nestled within the folds of his blankets.

His eyes were fixed intently on the glowing device in his hand, fingers moving across the screen with practiced ease as he played his favorite game, Anime Clash.

The game, a beloved pastime for many, offered players the chance to immerse themselves in the rich multiverse of all anime. From the bustling streets of the Leaf Village, to the chaotic waters of One Piece, every corner of the multiverse was theirs to explore.

And for our protagonist, it was more than just a game—it was an escape, a way to lose himself in a world of adventure and possibility.

Anime Clash was unlike any other mobile game; it granted players the freedom to choose their favorite character from any anime, then select their starting origin, and explore different timelines in various shows. With each decision, the player's journey would unfold in unique and unexpected ways, shaping the course of their destiny.

The man reminisced on his previous choices, a faint smile tugged at the corners of his lips, Gojo had been his character of choice. The man had an air of charisma that made him entertaining, and his powers were the most interesting, not to mention his character design was cool.

And as for the timeline/location, he had decided the universe of Naruto, specifically starting at the beginning of Shippuden. It was a time of restless conflict, introducing many powerhouses, and where the story of Naruto had gotten much more dangerous.

After a year of dedicated play, the man had honed Gojo's abilities to near-perfection, and his character's stats were practically maxed out, allowing him to become a hell of an overpowered character.

But as the man was playing the game, a sudden notification popped up.

[If you were given the opportunity to awaken in the universe of 'Naruto', would you accept?]

The man raised an interested brow, before simply pressing yes.

'What's there to lose? Either it's real or fake.' He shrugged, but his eyes widened as he suddenly felt his vision contort.

[Then please enjoy your journey as, Satoru Gojo, The Honored One.]

Before he could speak, everything went black.

In another part of the cosmos, deep within the Land of Fire, their was the Hidden Leaf Village. It's streets were busy as usual, filled with shinobi and regular folks going about their day.

But their eyes were drawn to the white haired man, adorned in a full black outift, his eyes covered by a blindfold, as he confidently strode forward.

For some, admiration glimmered in their gaze, captivated by the enigmatic presence. Yet, others couldn't suppress the flicker of unease that stirred within them at his sight.

This man was Satoru Gojo.

Born into the Leaf Village, Satoru hailed from the prestigious Gojo clan, a lineage steeped in mystery and rumored to rival even the mighty Uchiha. However, tragedy had struck during the Third Great Ninja War when their enemies launched a devastating attack that decimated the clan, leaving Satoru as the sole survivor.

Despite the weight of his clan's tragic fate, Satoru had risen through the ranks of the village, showcasing his prodigious talents from a young age. Graduating from the ninja academy at just five years old, he quickly ascended to become a Jonin by the age of 8, earning a reputation as the village's Greatest Genius.

Now, at sixteen, he was hailed as the strongest shinobi in the village for his unusual abilities.

As he basked in the pride he had for himself, Satoru's figure abruptly halted, his head tilting in confusion when memories of two lives converged and assimilated into one.

'I'm Gojo?'

It felt natural, as if he had seamlessly slipped into this new identity. His memories of his previous life remained intact, yet now he inhabited the body and mind of Satoru Gojo.

Memories slowly flooded his mind at a calm pace, allowing him to come to an understanding of his situation.

'To think that notification was serious, I'm actually in the world of Naruto as Gojo... Isn't this fun?' He chuckled softly.

Surprisingly it all felt normal, as if this was always how it was.

Shrugging his shoulders, a smirk curled onto his lips, 'Oh well, might as well enjoy it.'

Gojo then remembered he was currently heading to the Hokage Building, because he was summoned by the 5th Hokage, Tsunade Senju.

Taking a step forward, he vanished under everyones eyes, causing them to be surprised by his speed.

A few moments later, he reappeared in front of the Hokage's Office, without hesitation, entering.

Inside, Tsunade Senju glanced up from her paperwork as the door to her office swung open, revealing a unique blindfolded figure, causing her to be slightly surprised.

However, she simply raised an unamused brow, "I would appreciate it if you knock before entering the Hokage's Office."

Gojo's smirk widened, "Knocking is for those who lack confidence, Lady Hokage," he replied smoothly. "But hey, you called for me, and here I am."

Tsunade's lips twitched with annoyance, "Common courtesy," she admonished, her voice carrying a hint of exasperation, "It's not too much to ask."

Gojo chuckled lightly, unfazed by her reprimand, "Well, nobody's perfect, right? Besides, I knew you were expecting me."

She sighed, rubbing her temples in frustration. It was her first time meeting the man called Satoru Gojo and he was already getting on her nerves.

But her lips soon contorted into a frown as she regarded him seriously, "Satoru Gojo, I summoned you over two years ago, so why the hell have you only just appeared!?" Tsunade's tone slightly raised in anger as she glared in his direction.

Gojo seemed unbothered, humming in thought, as his mind drifted back to his past actions.

He couldn't help but wonder if his previous behavior was influenced by the game's plotline. After all, every time a major event occurred in the Naruto world, he always seemed to conveniently disappear.

During the Chunin Exams, when Orochimaru invaded, Gojo had left the Leaf Village the day before to visit the Land of Water for some famous ice cream. And when Itachi and Kisame appeared in the village, he had mysteriously embarked on a journey to buy clothes from a nearby famous brand.

It was as if he had subconsciously avoided getting involved in the main storyline, perhaps because his presence would disrupt the carefully laid-out events of the Naruto Universe, so he was rarely in the village.

But now that he was fully immersed in this world as Gojo, he could feel things would now be different.

Focusing back to the present, he answered Tsunade's question with a bemused face, "Well, Lord Hokage, I suppose I've been a bit... preoccupied with other matters." he vaguely admitted, his tone casual as he feigned ignorance.

Tsunade raised an eyebrow skeptically, before shaking her head in defeat, "I don't understand how the Third Hokage let you run amok..."

She thought back to the detailed file she had read on him. It chronicled his remarkable journey from a child prodigy to the 16 year old shinobi standing before her.

Graduating from the academy at the tender age of 5 and achieving the rank of Jonin at 8 without any squad or assistance spoke volumes about his extraordinary talent. It was also noted that he occasionally undertook missions as an Anbu member, further solidifying his reputation as an experienced shinobi.

The file contained the handwritten notes of the Third Hokage himself, who described Gojo as possessing a somewhat prideful personality, yet had undeniable power.

Even rumors circulating within the village spoke highly of him, calling him the Leaf's strongest asset.

And she wasn't a fool, even right now her senses could perceive the dense aura of chakra surrounding him.

As Tsunade reflected on these details, she decided to do a leap of faith, and extend her confidence to Gojo. With a determined expression, she cleared her throat and addressed him,

"Anyways, you came at the right time, I have a mission for you."

Gojo listened intently as Tsunade outlined the mission details. His expression remained impassive as she explained that he would serve as backup for Team 7, led by Kakashi Hatake, and Team 3, under Might Guy's command who were already sent to assist the Sand Village against the Akatsuki.

After a moment of consideration, Gojo flashed a confident smile, "Backup duty, huh? Sounds like a breeze. Consider it done, Lady Tsunade."

Tsunade nodded in approval, feeling reassured by Gojo's personality, "Good. I expect you to fulfill your duties without failure."

With a casual salute, Gojo replied, "Don't worry much, they'll all be back here safe and sound before you know it." Before she could say anymore, he disappeared in an instant.

Tsunade's eyes narrowed at the sudden display of speed, 'He's fast... Perhaps as fast as Minato.'
