CHAPTER 102 ON PATREON.

Two days had already passed since Gohan returned. And for the moment, everything was in order. Everyone waiting for the news from Cell.
Vegeta came out of the hyperbolic time chamber, and continued to train him in a gravity machine at Capsule Corp and Bulma was snarling at him.
Yamcha and Tien continued to reinforce their bodies in their machines as well, but not as excessively as Vegeta, they did rest.
Raditz trained on and off, but spent most of his time at home with Launch. The same with Goku and his family, they were in sleep mode.
It didn't seem like a powerful and atrocious creature was threatening the planet, perhaps Gohan's arrival relaxed all of them except Vegeta.
"Woaah I caught another great one!" Gohan exclaimed retracting the fishing line and putting the fish in a basket, "You guys aren't catching anything huh!"
Gohan turned to see his father and Raditz lying on the grass, their rods stuck in the water. They seemed to be less relaxed.
"Hey, do you think it's good to be like this when we face that monster Cell tomorrow?" Raditz asked with some curiosity.
"Maybe not, but I trust Gohan" Goku replied smiling, "I bet he has a plan to defeat Cell, like always"
"Right, this brat always has something on his mind" Raditz smiled remembering past battles, "No doubt he is Bardock's grandson"
"Yes, but I also remember that he is a child and he deserves moments like these" Goku said seeing how his son enjoyed fishing a lot.
Raditz looked at Gohan. he had a lot of respect for him as a warrior and a person, but after all he was a child. At his age, he still played with insects.
"Gohan hasn't had time to be a kid. A lot of times I feel horrible for letting him take care of things that I should fix myself."
"But at the same time I'm proud of everything he's achieving at his age" Goku added happily.
Raditz looked at him and stood up. "Sometimes you say interesting things huh. You should be happy because Gohan is not a kid anymore. He is now a warrior"
"Look at it this way, if they hadn't come to this planet they would still be weaklings" Raditz punched his brother Goku's shoulder.
"Wrong, sooner or later I would have trained with Kami-sama" Gohan intervened appearing with the basket full of fish, "Today we will eat great!"
"Wow! You sure caught a lot son" Goku looked at the basket in amazement, "Now we have to wait for your mom and Launch to come back with the fruit"
"Okay" Gohan left the basket and ran towards the forest, where he saw that his mother and Launch were already returning with baskets full of fruits.
"Son you are here, are you done fishing?" Chi-Chi asked and Gohan walked over taking the two baskets from his mother's hand, "Oops."
"Yep, and I'll help you carry this" Gohan stated and turned around, using his mental power "And you too Aunt Launch" he said looking at the woman.
"Thank you very much for that Gohan" Launch kindly thanked for the help and the two baskets hovered around Gohan.
And they continued walking until they arrived where the Saiyan brothers were. Who got up taking the baskets with fish.
Back home, Chi-Chi and Launch went to prepare food. Raditz and Goku taking a bath outside, but Gohan stayed inside.
"Should I put this in the pot or not mom?" Gohan asked not knowing what to do. Chi-Chi nodded for the seventeenth time, but smiled.
It had been a year since she had spent time with her son, so details like that didn't matter. What's more, they made the scene between the two more entertaining.
'I don't know what will happen tomorrow, now I just want to enjoy these precious little moments with mom' the boy inquired with a smile.
He only cared about enjoying this day and having a good time. Tomorrow would be another day, he was not a seer, so he would enjoy the present.
"I hope your father will cook one of these days, he only comes to the kitchen when he smells something delicious" Chi-Chi stated, holding back her laugh.
"Raditz is just like Goku, he just comes to ask me if the food is ready" Launch added and the pair of women cracked up.
Then, the aforementioned two came in and sneezed. Gohan couldn't help but laugh at that coincidence.
"Hmm, it smells delicious! Goku exclaimed happily.
"Is the food ready?" Raditz asked scratching his head. Chi-Chi and Launch looked at each other and laughed at that.
Goku and Raditz shrugged, and went to sit in the living room. And as unbelievable as it may seem, Raditz enjoyed racing on TV.
He turned on the TV and while he was looking for the channel, he came across something terrifying. Cell!
Goku suddenly became serious and hearing the phone ring, he picked up to find out who he was.
"Goku! Are you watching TV?!" Yamcha rang from the other side. He was accompanied by Tien, Roshi and others on the island of Kame House.
"Looks like Cell is on all channels" Goku declared watching as Raditz changed the channel and Cell continued to appear on the screen.
Gohan looked at him calmly, just like in the original series Cell announced the tournament and left the television network. This created a silence.
"Hey, what's wrong with everyone? You can't eat with a sad face" Gohan stated looking at his father and uncle, "Tomorrow we will defeat Cell"
Raditz wanted to know why Gohan was so confident, what plan he had in mind. But he didn't make sense to stress, that wouldn't fix anything.
"It's true, if it's eaten it's done well.Tomorrow we'll defeat the beast" Raditz smiled one of his classic smiles, "Isn't it, Kakarot?"
"That's right, but the truth is I'm starving" Goku scratched his neck as always and everyone laughed at that hilarious comment.
And dinner didn't take long to be ready and everyone sat down at the table to eat everything, share anecdotes, etc.
Calm before the storm...
And the Saiyans sought to relax. They went out to trade blows, but then came back and went to sleep. Everyone had to save strength.
Until finally, the day of the Cell games arrived. Gohan in the blue suit and white cape, Raditz in the saiyan armor and Goku his gi.
"Guys be careful" Launch clasped his hands in prayer. Raditz lowered his head and kissed her on the forehead, "Go away, we trust you"
"Mom, I assure you I'll be fine" Gohan took his mother's hands, "So don't worry, okay? We'll defend the planet!"
"Goku... take care of him" Chi-Chi whispered with teary eyes and the saiyan nodded caressing his wife's cheek, not knowing why exactly.
"I promise nothing will happen to us" Goku smiled and turned to the others, "We have to go, we shouldn't be late for Cell's games"
The three nodded and slowly took flight. The fate of the planet was in their hands. Will they be able to defeat the terrible Cell?
