82 Chapter 82: 19 and 20

The old-man turned to the chubby man, they were none other than androids 19 and 20, created by doctor Gero.

"That man over there has an 85.9% match to the warrior named Yamcha" declared 19 scanning Yamcha's figure.

"And that other one with the warrior called Krillin, it seems they are Son Goku's friends" Android 20 added as he walked towards them.

Yamcha clenched his fists and took a step forward. "Who are you and why have you caused such a big ruckus?!" he asked them.

There was no response from the androids. However, Krillin noticed something terrifying.

"Hey Yamcha, d-did you notice?" Krillin asked looking fearfully at his friend, who raised his eyebrow without understanding what he meant.

"What's wrong? Why are you nervous?"

"These guys here... they don't have Ki, it's like they're dead" replied Krillin leaving Yamcha wide-eyed at such a revelation.

"T-that's right, what the hell are they?" Yamcha gritted his teeth and got into a fighting stance, "Hey Krillin... do you think it's those androids?"

Krillin looked at him stunned. "W-what are you saying? They were supposed to appear in three years, it's not possible that it's them" he said, denying that.

But nevertheless, the conversation caught the attention of the older android, "How come you guys knew we were going to show up?"

Krillin was silent and Yamcha turned around squeezing his hands, they really were the androids. "That doesn't interest you old man!"

"I don't care! In any case, right now Son Goku should be about to die" said 20 outlining a slight smile.

"W-what did you say?" Krillin went pale.

"Androids 17 and 18 have gone to kill him, and we'll kill you!" replied Android 20 going towards Krillin.

"Watch out Krillin!" Yamcha flew up and got in the way blocking that attack with his forearm since Krillin was stunned, "Take care of the other one!"

19 flew towards Krillin, who took a huge leap avoiding it. But he didn't count on the android taking flight, and quickly chasing him.

"Solar flare!" Krillin yelled closing his eyes and suddenly the whole place was filled with light. Android 19 was blinded by the glare.

Krillin saw his chance at this moment and started charging old Roshi's turtle school attack. "Kameee...Hameee...HAAA!"

A large wave of energy flew towards 19, who was still blinded. Nonetheless, he extended his hands to the sky to receive the Kamehameha.

To Krillin's surprise, the attack instead of hitting 19 was absorbed by the android's hands until he completely dissipated.

"Wh-what the hell just happened?" Krillin was engrossed in what had happened until 19 appeared in front of him at quite incredible speed.

He didn't give her time to avoid the knee that went straight to his stomach and the elbow to his head that sent him crashing into the road.

"Krillin!" Yamcha exclaimed with concern, wanting to go help his best friend but Android 20 flew up, stopping right in front of him.

"I won't let you interfere!" 20 asserted, extending his arms to prevent him from passing, "No one will be left alive, you have to understand that"

"And you have to understand... that I'll pass no matter what! KAIO-KEN TIMES TEN!" Yamcha yelled, powering him up brutally, and punched Android 20.

20 shot off after taking a punch to the cheek, and Yamcha flew to the rescue of Krillin, who was moments away from being attacked by 19.

"HAA!" Yamcha fired an energy blast at 19, who stopped his flight and again reached out towards Yamcha's attack, as before.

Krillin witnessed before him how again the energy attack seemed to be absorbed by Android 19's hands, and that gave him an idea.

Yamcha didn't notice and flew up to where Krillin lay, lying on the ground. "Hey, how are you? Can you get up?" he asked him.

"I-I can continue, but it seems to me that those androids absorb the energy attacks we launch" Krillin commented seriously.

"W-what? Is it possible?" Yamcha gaped at him and Krillin nodded, "Geez, then it's impossible to beat them. If we don't use energy…"

"I have thought of something. And maybe it will work" declared Krillin showing him his thumb smiling.

Yamcha heard that plan and nodded, hitting his left fist into the palm of his right hand. "Perfect Krillin, I highly doubt it won't work"

"Here he comes!" Krillin exclaimed seeing how 19 was going for both. Then Yamcha flexed his arm to create a small yellow ball.

"Spirit Ball!" Yamcha yelled, throwing the sphere at Android 19, who stretched out both arms to absorb the energy from the Sōkidan sphere.

"Now!" Krillin increased his Ki and suddenly a red aura surrounded him, to the point of swelling his muscles to the max, "DESTRUCTO DISC TIMES TEN!"

While 19 was absorbing Yamcha's sphere, an avalanche of Krillin's destructo discs headed towards him.

He had no choice but to stop absorbing to dodge the discs, which seemed to circle around him, threatening to cut.

"Kame... Hamee... HAA!" Krillin and Yamcha shouted in unison, launching two waves of energy towards 19, who kept dodging the Kienzan.

And this time, he didn't have time to absorb or dodge. He received the two Kamehameha at the same time, before Android 20's stunned look.

'Impossible, the last time they were registered they didn't have this amount of power' the android thought, wondering what happened.

"W-well done Yamcha, y-you did everything perfectly" Krillin stood on his knees panting, because the Kaio-ken had exhausted him.

"Hehehe, do you think it really worked? We still have that other one though" Yamcha said pointing to Android 20, "And he seems stronger"

Little by little the smoke from the explosion dissipated, until the figure of 19 appeared. He looked like he had one less arm and parts were missing.

"Stay alive, they really are terrible opponents" Yamcha commented surprised by Android 19's resistance to his attacks.

"Hey, something is something" Krillin said with a small smile and stood up, "This shows that we can beat them with an excellent strategy"

"How is it that you have become so powerful? A year ago you were much weaker" Android 20 pointed out clenching his teeth.

"Tsk, if those two cheap insects surprised you, don't you dare fight me. You're just rubbish against the great Vegeta"

Android 20 looked up at the sky and fearfully saw two silhouettes on top of a building. They were the Saiyan prince Vegeta, and Nappa.

"Are you alright?! Sorry for being so late hehe" Goku said apologetically as he helped his brother up.

"Shut up, from what I see you have learned that Instant Transmission technique if you were able to get here" declared Raditz already standing up.

"It's the only one I've been able to learn, as soon as I felt your Ki rising, I suddenly understood that something was wrong" Goku replied smiling.

"And that's right, our enemies have come two years ahead of schedule. You take care of the other one, I'll finish my business with the girl."

"I was going to do that" Goku said squeezing his knuckles, "I don't know why you want to kill me, but I don't have any problem to fight with you"

"Come on, don't look at it like that, Son Goku. Let's try to have some fun" 17 replied, getting into a fighting position and Goku smiled imitating him.

"It's not fair, why should I keep fighting the other guy if I've already beaten him?" 18 puffed out his cheeks, crossing her arms annoyed.

"Beat me? You haven't seen anything yet, brat" Raditz flashed a savage smile as he prepared to fight her.

And while the battle was about to take place, a mysterious and particular being hid among the trees in search of his opportunity.
