56 Chapter 56: Yadrat (1)

After the arduous fight against King Cold, they all moved to Kami's watchtower waiting for news of what was happening on Namek.

Nappa followed them as he too was curious as to how Vegeta was faring on his journey on planet Namek.

"What do you say?" Piccolo was surprised to hear King Kai's words, "How could Frieza possibly beat Goku and his brother?"

Everyone listened to those words with a discouraged face, without believing the monstrous power that demon seemed to have.

"Frieza has unreachable powers, but right now Gohan is surpassing his strength and powers" continued the North Kai.

But with the last thing they heard, they smiled unable to contain the emotion. "Goku has an awesome son!" Yamcha exclaimed.

'I thought I finally got over him but that dwarf always finds a way to get over me' Piccolo clenched his fists with a smile.

"Who would have thought, the brat has become very powerful" Nappa spoke crossing his arms.

"He beat you up, you should know that by now, right?" Krillin added with a smile and everyone roared with laughter as Nappa scolded him.

"Use the dragon balls to resurrect Goku and his brother" advised the deity, "And then asks that they be teleported to Earth"

Piccolo grunted and turned to look at Mister Popo, who nodded and immediately went for the spheres. And after few seconds, he came back.

Dende was the one who summoned the dragon, causing the sky to darken as usual. A short time later, Shenron came out.

"What will be your three wishes?"

"Three? Like on Namek?" Dende asked surprised by that fact and Piccolo nodded.

"I want you to resurrect the warriors Goku and Raditz" declared Piccolo speaking the first wish. Everyone was waiting eagerly.

"That's easy" Shenron's eyes shone for a few moments, "What will be the second wish?"

"I want you to bring back everyone except Frieza and Son Gohan" Piccolo added leaving everyone confused by that exception.

"Why did you leave Gohan?!" Yamcha demanded.

"He would never shy away from a battle, I'm sure he wants to finish Frieza once and for all" Piccolo declared looking at the dragon god.

Thanks to that answer they understood what Piccolo did. Shenron's red eyes flashed again, "Your wish has already been granted"

And suddenly, three people appeared in the middle of the place. The surrounding Namekians backed away in utter bewilderment.

"Hey, this is Kami-sama's palace!"

Everyone looked up realizing that the one who had said those words was none other than Goku, and Krillin ran happily towards his best friend.

"You're finally back Goku!" exclaimed the monk hugging him, and Goku blinked his onyx eyes in confusion but flashed a radiant smile.

"That's right, from what I see they used the dragon balls" Goku said looking at Shenron, "But I don't see Gohan anywhere, where is he?"

"He has stayed on Namek" Piccolo replied seriously and Goku looked at him a bit startled.

"Why? Frieza is very dangerous!"

"Shut up insect!" Vegeta chimed in and everyone turned to him, "That brat turned into Super Saiyan, he'll beat Frieza easily!"

"What did you say Vegeta? Super Saiyan?" Nappa pointed out in surprise and the prince widened his eyes upon noticing the presence of the huge Saiyan.

But before he could speak, King Kai decided to intervene in the talk. "That's right, Gohan has far surpassed Frieza's strength"

To say that they were dumbfounded was an understatement, so what Vegeta was saying was true. Goku smiled showing his joy.

"That midget has no limits!" Raditz exclaimed crossing his arms with a smile and Vegeta grunted under his breath hearing such words.

"Hey, is it true that Frieza's dad came to attack Earth?" Goku asked curiously and Krillin nodded, "Damn, and he was a really strong guy?"

"Even Piccolo with his power released from him couldn't deal with him, he had to merge with Kami-sama to defeat him" answered Krillin.

"With Kami-sama? I see, they are one again" Goku said turning to Piccolo, "Then you must be... Kamiccolo-sama!"

Piccolo nearly fell to the ground at the sound of that ridiculous name. "Call me Piccolo... and yes, I merged with Kami so I could defeat that monster"

"So he was a strong being... I feel a powerful Ki coming from you Piccolo" Goku asserted smiling, "We'll fight later, okay?"

"I take it you were the one who defeated the Ginyu forces, right worm?" Vegeta chimed in with a quizzical look at Piccolo, who turned around.

"If you want I can add you to the dead list" Piccolo answered the taunt and Vegeta clenched his fists facing the Namekian.

"It was us who defeated Frieza's special forces" Tien took a step forward and Goku looked at him with a big smile.

"Yes, I also see that your powers increased" Goku commented looking at his friends and Yamcha gave him a thumbs up smiling enthusiastically.

"W-what?! Frieza destroyed planet Namek!" King Kai exclaimed, leaving everyone present speechless by those words.

"What did you say King Kai?!" Goku demanded.

"That monster was desperate because Gohan had defeated him, and he destroyed the planet" replied the deity and Goku clenched his fists.

"Damn it... it can't be!" Goku exclaimed helplessly and everyone except Vegeta lowered their heads at the news, "Frieza... stupid!"

The Namekians were terrified by the fact that their planet had been destroyed, and many of them began to cry sadly.

"Listen! That boy asked the dragon balls for the ability to survive in space, he is still alive" Prince Vegeta commented.

"That's true, Gohan made that wish" Moori confirmed with a smile and Goku stood up with a happy smile upon hearing that, "It's awesome!"

"It seems that he saw the future by making such a wish, I didn't expect anything less from my nephew" Raditz spoke with a smile full of pride and Goku nodded.

"So... you didn't ask for eternal life?" Nappa asked the prince, who snorted crossing his arms, "Why didn't you Vegeta?"

"Hush! That doesn't interest me anymore!" Vegeta exclaimed looking away, "With my current power, there is nothing to fear in the universe"

"What is your current power? When I left the healing chamber I reached 18,000 units" Nappa commented with a proud smile.

"Only that amount? Haha! My current power is incalculable Nappa, if you want to continue working for me you will increase your power" Vegeta ordered.

Raditz let out a mocking laugh and Vegeta gave him a reproachful look. And Nappa looked at this curiously, what had happened between the two?

"Amazing, Gohan was able to beat that tyrant!" King Kai exclaimed with great enthusiasm.

"It can't be..." Nappa muttered in astonishment.

Vegeta managed a slight smile. Since he saw Gohan's cold gaze he knew that he would have victory against Frieza. He has avenged the Saiyans.

"Good! We'll use the dragon balls to ask him to come back to Earth" Goku spoke turning to Shenron, "Hey, could you bring Gohan here?"

"Okay..." Shenron answered with his eyes shining, "Sorry, that's impossible"

"That because?" Raditz asked.

"The warrior called Son Gohan doesn't want to be transferred to Earth, he says that he will be back very soon" the dragon god answered then.

"I'm sure he wants to train on another planet" Goku spoke with a smile, "Well, my wish is that... you send him a space ship!"

"That's easy" after a few seconds of waiting, Shenron granted the wish, "I already granted his three wishes, I'll leave. Until next time!"

"We will use the Namekian spheres to rebuild the planet and send you back" Piccolo turned to his compatriots.

"Perfect, we'll wait here until then" Moori replied with a smile.

"I know a very big place where you can be, you can come too!" Goku said looking at Vegeta and Nappa, "Or are you going to leave?"

"Tsk, I'll stay on this planet for now" Vegeta crossed his arms, 'I need to check Super Saiyan powers' he reminded Gohan.

"Well, Raditz if you like you can stay at my house until Gohan returns" Goku said to his older brother, who shrugged.

Only he wanted was to rest. Frieza and his tyranny were eradicated and once again he had to thank his nephew Gohan, he owed him so much...

Gohan smiled seeing the green atmosphere of planet Yadrat from the capsule window.

After the fight with Frieza he landed on a nearby planet to rest and heal his injuries using Genki's absorption.

Once healed, he went to Yadrat on his ship. And thanks to the namekian book of legends he knew in which sector of the galaxy that planet was.

"Damn! I have to return this book to Guru... well I'll do it later" Gohan said with a smile sitting down since the ship was about to land.

The capsule broke through the planet's atmosphere and after a few seconds landed in the middle of a metropolis. Gohan smiled nervously.

"There was no better place to land" the little boy commented sarcastically as he stood up.

He exited the ship and stowed her in his Hoi-Poi capsule. But suddenly, he noticed the presence of dozens of small beings around him.

'These are the Yadratians? They don't have great power but this technique is amazing' Gohan thought with a smile, 'It will be a fantastic adventure'

"Hello, what brings you to our planet?" asked one of them taking a step forward.

"Hello! I'm Son Gohan, I heard that the inhabitants of this planet have good techniques and I would like to learn them" Gohan asked smiling.

The Yadratian looked at him curiously. "I will take you to the grand elder Pibala, he will be the one to decide. And my name is Hatsuka, nice to meet you Gohan"

"The pleasure is mine" said the boy smiling.

Flush!

Suddenly the Yadratians around him disappeared. Gohan looked at this puzzled, they really had great techniques!

So, they walked towards a large building. Hatsuka commented, "This planet suffers at the hands of the Ginyu forces, it's hard to get by"

Gohan saw devastated areas in the distance, but he smiled. "Don't worry, my friends and I defeated Frieza and his forces"

"Really? Thank you so much!" Hatsuka's eyes filled with delight and he excitedly waved Gohan's arm, who laughed.

They immediately reached the temple. The boy widened his eyes at the grear Yadratian standing before him, and there were two others beside him.

"This is the great old man of our planet, the honorable Pibala" Hatsuka spoke introducing the patriarch and then the little boy approached him.

"Grand Pibala, I would like to learn Yadratian techniques, that's why I came to this planet" declared the minor, making a respectful bow.

Pibala examined him, and Hatsuka wanted to facilitate the elder's decision. "Grand Pibala, this boy and his friends defeated Ginyu's forces"

"Oh, is that true?" Pibala asked.

"That's right, it was a tough battle but we were able to beat Frieza" Gohan answered smiling.

"Then we are grateful to you, but you are wrong. We don't know enough techniques as most think"

"We develop techniques based on only one thing: the spirit control" spoke the elder Pibala with a big smile.

"Spirit? Something like the Genki?" Gohan asked with curiosity and some enthusiasm.

"The Genki... is the vigor of spirit, but it doesn't represent it in its entirety. It's a small part of what the spirit itself is" answered Pibala.

Gohan nodded understanding that.

"Controlling the spirit is manipulating the energy, shape and size of the spirit. And that allows us to perform techniques such as teleportation"

Suddenly Pibala appeared behind Gohan and when the boy turned around, the Elder had returned to his place. 'Incredible' thought the little boy

"The cloning" added Pibala and instantly a multitude of his copies invaded the room, "The gigantification" and then he became small.

'So this is his normal size' Gohan reasoned with his hand on his chin and Pibala turned giant again, "They're all amazing!"

"But to learn them you must balance your body and your spirit" Pibala watched him closely, "You tend to meditate very often, don't you?"

"Haha the truth is that yes Elder Pibala" Gohan replied scratching the back of his neck with a smile, "Although lately I haven't had time"

"I see, then it will be easier for you. Come, we will start right now" Pibala spoke.

Gohan followed him with a big smile as Hatsuka walked beside him. He was eager to learn all the techniques of the planet Yadrat.
