Chapter 51: Ikari

Goku hit the tyrant in the face with all his strength sending him tens of kilometers further. The Kaio-ken's aura roared over his body.

Goku closed the distance with Frieza, who was restored in the air looking in surprise at the saiyan because he was able to hit him.

Frieza blocked Goku's punch with his left hand, who glared at him as he applied all his power to knock Frieza down.

"So that boy was your son, I didn't know Saiyans were so sentimental" Frieza laughed as he squeezed the man's fist hard.

"I'm a Saiyan who was raised on Earth!" Goku declared activating the Kaio-ken times five and kicked Frieza's chin, who got angry.

"You miserable monkey!" Frieza exclaimed, clasping his hands together and hitting Goku's head, who fell to the arid ground.

Frieza fired several energy blasts but Goku recovered before landing and easily dodged them, sending more attacks back.

The emperor dodged them all with equal ease and landed slowly on that island, stopping a few meters from the Saiyan.

"You are even stronger than that insect, but according to my calculations, half of my power will be enough to defeat you" Frieza declared with a smile.

This Saiyan had shown to have great qualities, even superior to those of that child he challenged, but he was not a threat to him!

"Half? We'll see about that" Goku spoke seriously as a red aura began to surround his body, "Kaio-ken times ten!"

Frieza was shocked when Goku suddenly appeared in front of him. A fist crashed into his right cheek sending him crashing into some rocks.

As this fight continued, Vegeta was propped up on a rock breathing heavily. He was pretty damaged.

He felt annoyed that a low-class soldier was on the battlefield while he was a spectator... but he couldn't move!

Raditz for his part was powerless, his younger brother was fighting in his place defending him... how else would he feel?!

His whole life was spent under the shadow of others. Always under Vegeta's shadow, Nappa's shadow. Now his own younger brother's.

Even his nephew, who was now dead! The only person who trusted him, who gave him a second chance to redeem his mistakes.

And what the hell was he doing in the meantime? Him standing on the sidelines, like he had always done in his entire life, like the useless he always was.

But he was already fed up. He was tired of being a burden, of being a liability unable to defend himself. If he had come to Namek, it was to fight!

"I... AM... TIRED!" Raditz yelled as he got to his feet. His pupils turned yellow and his muscles suddenly increased, "HAA!"

With that earth-shattering scream the ground shattered and Vegeta stared in surprise at the power the old mate was expelling from him.

'What is this about?! Vegeta wondered noticing that Raditz's tail had bristled, 'Hell, he even surpassed my powers!'

Raditz's power had reached 950,000 units. Thanks to this impulse he launched himself at Frieza giving him a powerful blow to the face.

Frieza then put his hand to his mouth wiping the trace of blood there and glared at Raditz, who seemed strange.

"How come you're still alive? This time I'll finish you off!" Frieza exclaimed with a frown and Goku looked at his older brother.

'Raditz...' Goku thought not understanding why his power had grown so much. But he didn't think about it anymore and he lunged at Frieza together with Raditz.

The two brothers began an offensive against the emperor. Raditz's punches were wild, aggressive, without a shred of coordination.

While Goku was looking for a weak point to exploit. That disorder in the movements of both saiyans seemed to confuse Frieza.

Raditz with the Ikari state and Goku using the Kaio-ken times fifteen. The brothers attacked hoping to gain victory against Frieza.

"HAA!" Goku and Raditz yelled, extending their arms and hitting Frieza's abdomen, who spat out a mouthful of blood at that.

He had been using 25% of his power but apparently it wasn't enough. This made him angrier than he was and increased the percentage.

"Monkeys don't stand a chance of beating me!" Frieza yelled, punching Raditz hard in the left cheek.

The older saiyan fell to the ground and his eyes went blank as he shivered. The cost of his power was a great pain at him.

"Raditz!" Goku yelled with concern for his brother. Frieza didn't wait any longer and strangled Goku's neck with his long tail.

"You have turned out to be much more annoying than I had anticipated... I will finish you off first!" Frieza pointed out with a wicked smile.

Goku tried to free himself but the more he tried, the more Frieza squeezed, who seemed to be enjoying the saiyan's suffering.

But suddenly, a Ki disk appeared in front of Frieza. He quickly moved away but his tail couldn't be saved so it ended up being cut off.

Then Goku fell to his knees gasping for air and rested his eyes on a hill. There was his savior, his son, Gohan!

"Y...You! Weren't you dead?" Frieza asked dumbfounded as the boy jumped off the hill and walked towards his badly injured father.

Goku's eyes sparkled at the sight of his son. He was happy, excited, with Gohan on the battlefield they could beat that tyrant.

"G-Gohan...you gave me quite a scare!" Goku declared with a happy smile, "But I felt your Ki under that ocean over there, thank goodness you're alright."

"I'm sorry dad, but now I'm recovered and ready to fight" Gohan spoke crouching down to his father's height, "You'll help me with Frieza, won't you?"

"Of course, that being called Frieza has amazing powers" Goku said looking at his son, "Hey son, do you have more Senzu beans?"

"I only have two left, dad"

"Okay! Give them to Raditz and Vegeta please, they need them more than me" added Goku with a smile and the little boy nodded obeying him.

Frieza looked at everything in astonishment, he was sure that he had killed him! How is it that that child was still alive after his attack?

"No one makes fun of the great Frieza... now you'll see!" Frieza exclaimed flying towards the boy but Goku stood in his way with a stern face.

"I won't let you damn it!" Goku yelled activating the Kaio-ken twenty times and kicked Frieza sending him backwards meters.

And meanwhile, Gohan was standing where Raditz's body lay. He reached down and stuffed a Senzu bean into the saiyan's mouth.

"Come on... wake up man!" murmured the little one helping him to chew. After a few seconds, Raditz's eyes widened, "Finally, Uncle Raditz!"

PAM!

Raditz landed a punch to Gohan's cheek, who rolled to the ground. "That hurt uncle! Is that any way to greet your only nephew?"

"Shut up, where the hell have you been brat?!" Raditz demanded, although inside he was quite glad to see him again.

"You know... drawing up a plan, and from what I saw you reached a new power" Gohan spoke with a smile and the saiyan crossed his arms.

"I... had the same feeling I usually have when I become Ozaru, but it hurt inside me" Raditz confessed looking at his hands.

'To think that Uncle Raditz would reach Ikari mode, he really has potential' thought Gohan smiling, "I understand, I'll go see Vegeta"

The aforementioned was holding his left arm as the crimson life liquid endlessly surged from his multiple wounds.

"I see you've been given another beating Vegeta, how many are you going for?" Gohan scoffed as he handed the saiyan prince the last Senzu bean.

Vegeta chewed on said seed and swallowed it shortly after. His wounds healed instantly and his energy reserves recovered as well.

"I'll be the one to beat the crap out of you, insect!" Vegeta glared at him. And suddenly Goku was thrown towards them, "Kakarot!"

"Vegeta finally y-you've recovered hehe, now we can all fight Frieza" Goku said getting up from the ground with the help of his son.

"Well, I agree, with the dwarf here we can win fighting together" Raditz supported that idea, "And what about you, Prince Vegeta?"

"Hpmf, just don't get in my way," Vegeta stepped forward ignoring Raditz's taunt, "That monster... must die today!"

Everyone got ready to fight as Frieza stood before them. Despite the numerical advantage, they were not a threat.

"Even if there are a thousand of you, you will still be trash" Frieza declared, "This time I will finish the job, today the saiyans will be destroyed!"

"HAA!"

The four of them shouted raising their base power to the maximum. Thanks to the Zenkai that Vegeta and Raditz received, they were placed at the same level as Goku.

As Gohan displayed a "nearby" power. He had a plan in mind to defeat Frieza and he hoped it would work. Or it would be the end of everything.

The battle on Earth had just begun. Piccolo vs King Cold, Frieza's father and the patriarch of the frost demons.

The two of them were floating in the sky, looking into each other's faces with serious expressions on their faces. Until they closed the distance between them.

PAM!

Their fists collided brutally producing a crash in the air. Piccolo tried to kick his side but Cold stopped him using his elbow.

"Not bad Namekian! But I was just warming up" Cold declared smiling and Piccolo smiled back. This annoyed the demon.

Piccolo's facial expression changed in a few moments. He opened his mouth and released a energy blast towards King Cold, who took cover.

Despite this, that attack affected him, this because Piccolo shot him at close range. The Namekian outlined a small smile looking at Cold.

"Not bad! But I was just warming up" Piccolo mockingly paraphrased leaving King Cold angrily, "What's wrong? Attack me!"

Cold flew at him and tried to land an ax blow to the head, but Piccolo moved to the right dodging quite easily.

Piccolo saw an opening in the demon's defense and landed a powerful knee to King Cold's abdomen, spitting blood.

Everything was not over for him, after the knee to the abdomen Cold received an elbow to the head courtesy of the green man and an ax blow.

King Cold shot to the ground but Piccolo stepped forward and kicked him back up, before unleashing several ki blasts at him.

The sky filled with smoke as the attacks continued to impact King Cold's body, who received them inescapably.

"Piccolo is amazing! He is much more powerful than Frieza's father!" Krillin exclaimed with a smile and Tienshinhan nodded.

"He'll win the fight, nothing to worry about" Yamcha looked optimistic as she watched the smoke slowly disappear into the sky.

And there was King Cold with wounds all over his body. A trail of blood ran down from the corner of his mouth from Piccolo's attack.

"I overdid it with the punches" Piccolo let out a mocking comment and King Cold spit blood looking at the Namekian with a frown.

"I must admit that you are strong, you were even able to hurt me" King Cold massaged his neck, "But I was only using 10% of my power"

This declaration left each and every one present frightened. If what he said was true, they were in a dire situation!

"Stop talking nonsense, that's impossible!" Piccolo refused to believe it and King Cold laughed out loud at his pathetic reaction.

"I'll tell you a namekian thing, my species is characterized by involution due to the great power with which some mutants like me are born"

"We adopt a total of four forms to contain our powers, I am in the second form, do you know what that means?"

"I have two more transformations left to expel all my power! Now you will see what King Cold is capable of" declared the frost demon.

Piccolo gritted his teeth as Cold began to transform. The entire site vibrated from the king's inordinate amount of energy.

"I-it can't be!" Krillin fell to his knees in low spirits, "Just when we were about to beat him dammit!"

King Cold's head elongated and spikes appeared on his back. The world beheld Cold's third form.
