30 Chapter 30: Namek?

The Saiyan ship had already left the planet's atmosphere. With that, the threat was over and stillness returned to the world.

"Why did you do it Goku?!" Krillin demanded facing his friend, "Those guys killed Yamcha, Piccolo and also Kami-sama!"

He didn't understand why Goku had allowed them to escape, and to tell the truth Tienshinhan was also impatient to hear the answer.

"I confess Krillin... I was nervous, I wouldn't know if we could win this fight" he replied smiling at her, "Not even with my current strength"

Krillin was surprised by that.

"But I was also excited about the challenge of that Saiyan, he was much stronger than me" he added, "I want to fight him again!"

His love for battles ran through his bloodstream like all Saiyans. Gohan and Raditz understood that emotion perfectly.

"I was excited while fighting too, I trained for a year for this" Gohan commented, "So I understand how dad feels"

"But Gohan..." Krillin was left without support.

"Even though it hurts me for Yamcha's death, I want to continue training so that when they come back I can defeat them" Tienshinhan said.

After hearing those words, the bald man sat on a rock and sighed with resignation, his friends had no choice.

"Hey dad, why did you take so long?" Gohan asked, "I asked the dragon balls to bring you to the planet when you were ready."

Although everything had gone well, he did not understand why his father took so long. He felt that he had wasted a wish, and that was very annoying.

"I know, King Kai told me months ago" replied Goku smiling, "But he said that the saiyans wouldn't arrive on Earth for a longer time, and therefore I kept training"

Gohan showed a bitter smile after hearing that. In short, that his wish had been spoiled by a miscalculation made by King Kai.

"I trained without worries until suddenly King Kai said that the battle had started in this place" Goku continued.

'Basically what I thought' Gohan didn't interrupt his father's story despite knowing what the older Son would say beforehand.

"I didn't know how but I appeared in Kami-sama's palace, and I used the Kaiō-ken to come as soon as possible" declared Goku thus ending his story.

"I see, so my wish was fulfilled as soon as King Kai gave you the news" Gohan muttered with his hand placed under his chin.

"We were lucky that Gohan was here!" Krillin exclaimed still enthusiastically, "You should have seen how he beat the other saiyan with no complications"

"Hahaha I know Krillin, he has become a great fighter" Goku said stroking his son's head, "But I don't understand why you resurrected him..."

"I thought you'd miss me Kakarot!" Raditz scoffed with a smile and Goku frowned slightly, "Oh come on, don't look at me like that"

"You kidnapped Gohan and tried to kill me!" Goku reproached everything that his older brother had done wrong, "How do you want me to look at you?"

"That's past, do you want me to apologize or something? There was no other way to convince you, you're a dumb" Raditz declared mockingly.

Krillin fidgeted at the dispute that was taking place between the two brothers. But Gohan wasn't worried about that situation.

"I'll explain it to you later dad, and Uncle Raditz stop bothering" Gohan spoke looking at both of them tiredly, "Look, here come our friends"

They all looked up seeing a ship that was landing a few meters from the place. Immediately, several of them got off it.

"Gohan! Goku!"

The two recognized that voice and looked at each other with a nervous smile. Chi-Chi soon made her presence known and hugged the two of them wistfully.

"I missed you too mom" Gohan mumbled closing his eyes with a smile. After a long year, he was seeing his dear mother again.

"You didn't m-miss me G-Goku?" Chi-Chi asked blushing, because the last time she saw Goku, the two of them joined their lips.

"Well, to be honest, the food in the Other World wasn't as tasty as the one you make" Goku uttered scratching the back of his neck smiling.

Gohan wanted to hit his forehead at such an answer but Chi-Chi didn't mind that. She hugged her husband and kissed his cheek...

Bulma walked over to Yamcha's body and crouched down looking at him sadly. Krillin walked over to her and put a dejected hand on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry Bulma... I-I couldn't do anything to stop it" Krillin apologized clenching his fists and Master Roshi shook his head hearing him.

"Don't blame yourself Krillin" the old man spoke as he helped to put the body of the deceased Yamcha in a glass sarcophagus, "You fought well"

"Yes, I congratulate you all for giving your best effort" Master Korin intervened focusing his gaze on Gohan, "You did great little one"

"I promised you master" Gohan said with a smile as he was in his mother's arms, "Even though my strength wasn't enough"

They all entered the ship, including Raditz to the surprise or chagrin of many. Yamcha and Piccolo's bodies were in their sarcophagus.

Gohan was in Chi-Chi's arms with a cloth sheet covering his body and Goku was sitting lost in thought next to his wife.

"Now that neither Piccolo nor Kami-sama are here, the dragon balls have…" Tienshinhan spoke with a serious face, and the atmosphere turned heavy.

"That means I won't see Yamucha again" Puar looked down wistfully and Bulma resisted crying, she was the one piloting the ship.

Krillin wiggled his fingers cogitatively and Gohan bit his lower lip at the sight of them. He didn't want to see them so down, so he decided to speak up.

"Do you remember that the saiyan mentioned that the planet where Piccolo came from also has dragon balls?" the younger Son asked.

They all looked at him puzzled. Krillin, Chiaotzu and Tienshinhan were present so they had heard it. Raditz was aware.

"That's right! If we go to that planet called Namek, we could find those dragon balls" Krillin pointed out quite enthusiastically.

"And so we could revive Yamcha, Piccolo and Kami-sama! And with that, the dragon balls would also return" Goku spoke with a big smile.

Very soon the illusion blazed in the eyes of almost everyone. The planet Namek was a new hope for all of them and for the Earth.
