"So I owe you a lot Merus, does that mean that now I can use god Ki?" Gohan wanted to hide the illusion but it was quite impossible.

"Nah, the god Ki I gave you was to restore your spirit, to be able to use it you would have to reach your limit as a mortal"

"So my mortal limit," Gohan muttered with a sigh, "But what specific limit?"

Gohan remembered the talk he had with Merus a few years ago, about obtaining divine Ki.

The possibility existed because in his spirit there was a remnant of divine energy, but for that he had to achieve his limit as a mortal.

A few months ago he achieved the maximum power of Super Saiyan. But nevertheless, he felt that he was far from the limit of him, "Is there something beyond?"

He thought of the whole original story, all the possible branches, and something came to him, "Absurd."

Wait a couple of years, so that old Kai can unlock his potential, and then absorb divine energy from the Kaioshin realm?

"As a strategy it sounds pretty crazy, even to me" Gohan shook his head, "The best thing is to keep thinking, a better option will come up."

The ball of energy collided with the planet causing a giant hole that completely pierced the internal structure of the planet.

"Hmpf" Buu crossed his arms smiling.

Super Buu didn't realize that Gohan's body was floating in the core of the planet.

'U-uh, just barely' Gohan sighed with more relief.

He opened his eyes with difficulty looking at the surroundings. There was a lake of fire. It seemed to be the inner core of the supreme planet, "Well"

Gohan inhaled. He felt that the place was flooded with divine energy. Logical considering what site this was. A sacred realm.

"I'm one step away from completing my plan" Gohan thought. Until now, everything had gone according to his plan, the one he did a couple of years ago.

Although it is true that unexpected things happened, in principle everything was going as Gohan wished, "Well, here I go!"

Gohan then jumped into the lake of fire, submerging his body which began to burn.

'Focus' Gohan ignored the pain and began to focus on gathering the divine energy from around him, as if he absorbed Genki, "Good"

Gohan felt how the fragment of god Ki that Merus left on his spirit began to react, thus spreading throughout his body.

His multiple wounds began to magically close, and his body went up in flames.

But they weren't normal flames, but ones that seemed to purify his being, as if they were purging him, cleansing his spirit.

"We trust you to defeat Majin Buu" some voices sounded in the distance. Gohan could see the silhouettes of the three Kaioshin that Buu absorbed.

"Yeah, I won't let them down" Gohan closed his eyes.

The fragment of divine energy from his spirit expanded to the recesses of his body. He was no longer a mere mortal. Now he was...

A god.

"A god? Don't make me laugh!" Buu laughed several times to the point of crying.

Gohan was skeptical of such words. Meanwhile, King Kai still couldn't believe it. "H-he reached god Ki"

King Kai never thought that the little boy who told him a joke a few years ago would become a Super Saiyan god, "T-this is incredible"

The old Kai was jumping with happiness, "I knew that boy is very formidable!"

"I don't know how he did it, but using the divine energy with the potential unlocked will make him unstoppable for Buu" the old man commented.

Buu stopped laughing after seeing how indifferently Gohan was looking at him, that made him angry.

"Don't talk rubbish, trash!" Buu ran to hit him, and punched him in the forehead, "Haha!"

But nevertheless, Buu's arm began to burn until it disappeared, "H-how? Impossible"

Gohan blinked and Majin Buu's body began to radiate light. After a few seconds, Goku, Vegeta, and Raditz appeared out of nowhere.

"N-no... NO!" Buu yelled, already in his basic form.

His power dropped unbelievably, so much so that even Gohan without Ultimate form would beat him.

Gohan had used the forced spirit fission with his eyes only. The power of him was atrocious.

"Kibitoshin, take them to Earth. Tell them to gather the Dragon Balls to resurrect Majin Buu's victims" Gohan stated.

The Kaioshin nodded at that and quickly taking the three unconscious bodies, disappeared from the place, leaving them alone.

Gohan started to walk towards Buu, who backed away helplessly, not knowing what to do.

"Don't be naive, I'll exist as long as this universe does too" Buu was very confident.

"By adopting a physical form you lost that faculty" Gohan told him the cruel reality of him, "Bye"

"W-wait s-stop... STOOOOP!" Buu expelled the power from him, soaring into the sky. He seemed to intend to escape from the Kaioshin realm.

Gohan raised his hand, creating a silver sphere that turned to dust, "God Punisher"

The God Punisher or Divine Dust Breaker loomed over Buu until he caught up with him.

"NOOOOOOO" Majin Buu screamed burning until he was erased from existence. The attack produced a silvery explosion across the sky.

Gohan, without wasting any more time, used Instant Transmission and reappeared on his planet.

There, in Kami's palace, his mother was reanimating her father. And the others relaxed.

"Thank you very much Kibitoshin" Gohan thanked.

Hearing that voice, everyone turned around. Full of happiness they ran towards him, "Gohan!"

"Brother!" Goten ran over and gave her a hug.

"We weren't feeling your energy," Master Roshi squinted, looking at Gohan's white-tipped hair and white eyes, "Huh?"

"Son!" Chi-Chi ran up to him and hugged him.

"Mom, Goten, I missed you so much" Gohan relaxed back to his base state and smiled.

"Brat, you did a great job" Bardock smirked.

"Thanks Grandpa" Gohan turned to Gine, "Grandma, nice to finally meet you hehehe"

"So, is Majin Buu over?" Bulma asked worriedly with Trunks next to her.

Just as Gohan was going to answer her, the sky turned dark. Everything started to shake, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

A gloomy laugh resounded not only throughout the planet, but throughout the universe. And when they all looked up, they went very pale.

The sky was covered in Buu's face!
