41 41. NOBODY IN INTER-SCHOOL TOURNAMENT (4)

Right now in the platform there were only two students still standing, one was demon girl and another was dwarf girl and coincidentally both were fire mages.

Audience was excited to watch whose fire was stronger. Suddenly both opponents came to an understanding and both decided to fire their strongest spell and started gathering their mana for their strongest spell as they had low mana after such battle and they won't last long in long term battle.

So instead of fighting pathetically both decided to show their strong side and use the strongest spell they could use in the situation.

Whole audience was excited and cheering for them, the heartbeat was racing at fast speed. And then both striked at same time...

"SCORCH!"

"BLACK FLAMES!"

And with that dwarf girls flame were red with a hint of orange in it and demons flame was dark and had a hint of purple in it.

As both flames striked their was a huge blast at area where both collided and both of opponents were thrown away. Now both were at border line of platform and then demon girl who calmed down first fired the spell.

"SHADOW SLIP"

And with that the dwarf girl was pushed out of platform by her own shadow and the duel came to the end!

"That was an underhanded move, that's pathetic! " Reus said after watching the duel.

"Is that your excuse when you will loose in battlefield and loose your life, in real life there are no use for morals!" Klaus replied to Reus and Reus felt silent.

'This self righteous bastard! If he doesn't like any thing he just declares it as evil or unfair, how pathetic! 'klaus thought with frown.

"Now that was a very interesting duel both sides fought hard, now on to the last match of first round 'Immortal Sect vs Genesis Academy'!!!"

"IYYEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHH!!"

This was match that was most interesting because in all previous tournaments Immortal sect was always within top 3 and same was case of Genesis Academy.

But getting to watch both of them in first round was very rare thing. Immortal Sect was Jack of all trade while Genesis Academy used to teach only one way for a person.

"Get ready!"

As referee announced both got ready. 5 students in loose cloths were swordsman so the got in V position and mage and healer on back side. Two swordsman were protected healer and mage while 3 attacked.

And on Genesis Academy's side Klaus and Reus were in front followed by Bobbie and Brian, and behind them was Anna, Sam and Ariana.

"Start the Duel!"

And with referees signal both sides close combat students rushed to clash with each other. Three swordsmans were clashed with Klaus, Reus and Bobbie and Brian rushed towards the Mage and healer that were protected by swordsmans.

As sword of Klaus clashed with Immortal sect's student he clearly felt the difference and he started using magic at same time.

"WIND BLADE"

But opposite to his expectations klaus deflected those attacks and at same time clashed with his sword. Similar case was for Reus but Reus just kept striking and keep taking damage from magic. While Bobbie was using magic to defend from attacks from magic.

Brian was now close to swordsman that was protecting mage and just as swordsman thought he was here for mage and striked, Bobbie used an spell klaus told him to learn in three weeks.

"SHADOW MOVEMENT!!"

It was tier 3 spell that used up 5% mana of Brian but next moment Brian was now close to healer and before the swordsman could react assassin punched the healer and eliminated him. Although assassins had low strength it was still better than healer and with that the buff of all students got removed.

Brian didn't give them chance to react and ran back from the swordsman because he knew that he wasn't their match in direct matches.

And the mage tried to strike at Brian's back

"FLAME SPEAR!"

"EARTH WALL!"

But it was obstructed by Sam's spell and Brian escaped successfully. Although Sam wasn't much now but in future he was able to control many Golems and defend whole party alone.

And Anna was already shooting many arrows to keep mage in check. And on the other side Bobbie was starting to lose because of low mana.

And klaus noticed the situation and said "Time to end this!"

"THUNDER EMPEROR SWORDSMANSHIP TECHNIQUE___3RD MOVE THUNDER RUSH!"

And with that sparks started coming from his foots and sword and he slashed toward the opponents sword and because of force and electricity his opponent lost his grip of sword and taking advantage of that klaus threw his opponent out of the platform and rushed towards the swordsmans protecting mage.

And Reus watching Klaus getting all spot light he also used his technique

"INFERNO SWORDSMANSHIP TECHNIQUE___FLAME STRIKE!"

And with that his sword got covered in fire and with a strike his opponent lost his consciousness.

Brian's opponent was shocked because of Klaus and Reus's sudden power up and lost his focus Bobbie noticed it and put his sword at opponent's neck and with that third swordsman also got eliminated.

Klaus was now in front of first swordsman and

"4TH MOVE THUNDER STORM"

And made a horizontal strike it was slower strike than before and swordsman blocked it but the after shock of strike was huge the current flew to his whole body and he got pushed out of platform.

And klaus without wasting a second rushed towards last swordsman but Reus had already launched a spell

"WIND BALL"

A compressed ball of wind strikes swordsman but swordsman was still standing with help of some defensive magic but next moment Mage striked a spell towards the klaus

"FLAME THROWER!"

But klaus closely avoided the spell and

"8TH MOVE THUNDER WAVE"

And a huge arc made of pure thunder appeared from the Klaus's sword and with that both Swordsman and mage got thrown out of platform. And in five minutes whole team was eliminated .

Audience who watched the perfect sink of team and strength of Klaus and Reus was stunned. Such perfect sink and prediction was very rare even for students of 4th year student.

"And winner is Genesis Academy! "

And as the referee announced audience came to their senses and a super loud cheer echoed through stadium.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOAOAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Emperor and Empress had proud look and they glanced at klaus. Klaus noticed the Emperor's glance and smiled back at them. It was Reus's first time getting cheered by such a big audience so he just waved his hand in excitement.

On the other hand Klaus was very calm and thought 'It is indeed tough for these inexperienced kids to react at sudden moves and strikes'.

On the Emperor's side...

The representative of Xiao Dynasty wasn't unhappy because of his lose but stunned by klaus's strength, and he asked "Your majesty! Who is that blonde kid? The technique he used was at least tier 7 and obviously a new technique."

Hearing that other representatives also asked

"Yes your majesty! Who is he?"

"He can use this technique with such proficiency at age of 12"

"Is he a Klaus de Whiteblood that we have heard about?"

Hearing last response everyone felt silent. Although klaus was famous but not many had seen him.

Emperor and Empress made smug face and said "Yes he is the Klaus 'mine nephew' you have heard about, 'the Magic Swordsman of the Empire' and 'Business Prodigy' isn't he strong and more mature than his peers."

Emperor purposefully announced his relationship and that klaus was from Empire to tease others and it worked perfectly, all the representatives were burning with jealousy and showering Emperor with envious gazes.
