111. ADVENTURER VS MONSTER STAMPEDE! (1)

Next morning Klaus woke up early along Fairies

"We are getting ready early today because we need to get our preparation done you understand?"

"Roger!!"

Fairies replied like soldiers and after that along with Klaus both of them picked their brushed and started brushing their teeths

After cleaning their faces all of them got ready to go out

Klaus equipped his combat suit with his hood and made his way towards the highest building in the city

To the Bell tower

It was highest building made for monitoring the monsters and a gaurd did their 24/7

Klaus jumped on air and arrived at absolute top of the tower, Klaus sat at the roof of the tower and the sun was just about rise

Klaus took out 4 sandwich from his storage, and handled 3 sandwiches to fairies and one for himself

All three sat at the roof and looked outside the city, towards the first from where the monsters will be attacking in some hours

"Hey Klaus why don't we set some magic that will blast itself if monster get near it!"

Fae asked to Klaus who was observing the place

"That's not a good option, if we do that the city folks will know that we already knew about the monster stampede and it will result in either my identity reveal or us being mixed with Cultists"

Fae realised Klaus's words and aftera simple nod of understanding she started to concentrate on her sandwitch

She ate like a hamster and then Luna asked "Then why don't we attach first before they attack us, we can kill them without any trouble right!"

"But our main goal isn't monster extermination here, our main goal is to remove the Cultists from the city

the Guildmaster and lord of City both are mixed with Cultists, the city folks already doubt them but what they need is a hero and a representative with enough guys to comfort those bigshots

And I will provide them with a hero and with that removing Cultists will be easy as hell!"

Klaus took big bite of remaining sandwitch and finished it, Klaus rubbed his hands on his back and stood up

His gaze moved towards the Giant Tower and Klaus was still not able to see it's top

"Is it really endless as they say...."

After saying that Klaus moved his gaze towards the forest and said to Fairies

"I think they are about to start, I'm also curious to how they will attract so many monsters here in the city"

Klaus activated a magic that allowed him to see anything within the range of one km, through the space

This magic needed Space element for use and was one of self invented spells,

'Hoo~ These guys either have big guts or they are crazy to think they used 'water hemlock' herb to make monsters crazy

Any person who even comes in contact with these herbs dies in a day, and it doesn't have any cure either

Yet they are burning these herbs to smoke, these herbs are poisonous for humans but is like drugs for these monsters!'

Klaus was amazed by the method Cultists were using to attract monsters in the city,

"What are you doing Klaus, are you seeing something fun?"

Cassie asked Klaus who was silently standing there from sometime

"Something like that, let's kill Cultists after they are done with their works, they will likely try to cause more trouble in a day they are alive!"

Klaus said and once again glanced at the city, his eyes moved towards Brock who just woke up and was cleaning the front of inn

His gaze moved towards the familiar faces of the adventurers who just came out to get their jobs

He looked towards the citizens of City coming out of their houses and preparing for their daily lives unaware of danger ahead

"Let's maintain this peace as it is and take care of violence ourselves

Violence is bad but if it's to protect the peace it's the best deed of the life!"

Klaus said that and a smile formed on his face and the fairies and after that all of them moved towards the forest

Tier 6 Magic... Space walk!

Klaus jumped from the roof but instead of landing on ground he kept appearing in some distance towards the forest walking through the space

Klaus arrived at the forest and sat at branch of tree and was looking at the two Cultists talk to each other

"Did you finished at north?"

"Yeah, what about you, any trouble?"

"Nothing here, but I bet those idiots will be surprised when suddenly these monsters will attack their homes!"

"hahaha even the adventures won't be much trouble to surprise attack!"

"Hope the God will be happy!"

"Of course! Just imagining the blood everywhere makes me so excited hahaha"

Klaus looked at fanatic faces of the Cultists and a disgust aroused in his heart and he moved

"Crazy lunatics!"

Klaus moved from the tree branch and next moment both the Cultists had lost their heads

Klaus just smiled at moved forward and like this Klaus kept killing the Cultists and after 2 hours Klaus finished all the Cultists across the forest

Cultists ranged from Tier 5 to Tier 7, even in zone of A rank monsters

"They really had troubled themselves with such a thorough plan"

These words left from Klaus's mouth who sat at the top of 10 or 20 corpses of Tier 7 Cultists

Klaus wiped the blood from his daggers and looked at the shine on the blade

"They really made quite a plan through, every cultist was in position that will attract maximum monsters!"

"But it will fail anyways right?"

"Don't make red flags here idiot!" Klaus said while glaring at Fae

"Oh seems like it's time Klaus!" Cassie said while sensing the movement around the forest

Fairies are more sensitive in forest than the Elves, so Cassie was able to sense monsters moving towards the city

Klaus nodded and said "Let's make a good show then"

Tier 8 magic ... Long range Teleport!

And along with Fairies arrived inside the City walls observing the situations from sidelines

After some minutes a gaurd who was staying at top of the giant city walls and watched the forest observed the strange movement from the forest

'What is that? is someone coming here?'

After he thought that a goblin appeared from the forest,

'A Goblin huh?'

He immediately shooted down the Goblin with his arrow, 'That's easy, scared me for nothing!'

The gaurd sighed in relief but just then many more trees moved and many more monsters started appearing

Now the gaurd was totally paniced and shouted "Ge- get ready! The monsters are attacking!!!"

As he shouted all the gaurds near him got alerted and looked towards the forest, then the Gaurd Captain shouted

"Start the long range attacks! Close the city gates! close combat warriors equip your armour!

Tarin! Go and request guild for help immediatly, it's emergency!!!"

"Yes!!!"

The Gaurd Captain was peak Tier 7 Swordsman with a epic tier job, he was quite strong

As he said all the gaurds started preparing, the mages and archers were attacking continuously

The distance between forest and City was only about 800 meters and between the city and forest was dry land with some grass

The monsters kept appearing and kept dying but their legs didn't stop and with red glow in their eyes they kept moving

And after that stronger monsters appered who weren't much effected by attack of gaurds

'We are in deep shit now! let's just hope backup arrived quickly and we can lessen the death rate here'

The Gaurd Captain thought as he watched B Rank and above monsters slowly appearing from the forest and looking towards the city with crazy eyes
