''What do you mean different?'' I asked him while keeping my expression serene.

I thought it was going well until now, but it seems that BMO was the only one to notice that the old Finn is no longer here.

Maybe Jake noticed and chose not to say anything about this little change, perhaps thinking it was just a minor traumatic event from the fight I supposedly had yesterday.

Jake said I took a big beating yesterday, from the way he was talking it sounded like I shouldn't recover so quickly, if even Princess Bubblegum was "worried" about my health, it shouldn't be something as frivolous as I originally thought.

BMO jumped up from the small table and ran to a hole in the wall and came back with a console control, then he answered me:

''BMO thinks Finn looks like an adult, like Princess Bubblegum.''

He quickly returned with the console control and handed it to me.

BMO thinks Finn was hit too hard on the head, but Finn looks like a good adult now. BMO likes this new Finn''.

''Finn looks like BMO's older brother.''

'Do I look like a big brother?' I reflected on myself.

I didn't have a little brother or sister in my past life.

There was Coraline who practiced 'Fencing' in the same room, but, she was like a little sister to everyone, I suppose that's it?

''Do you like me like this...or the old Finn?''

This was an important question I should ask, I don't think I can act exactly like Old Finn.

This could end up creating some small problems and later these small problems could turn into big problems in the future. But, I would still like to be seen as the Hero of Ooo.

I was planning to use this reputation as the Hero of Justice for my future monopoly plans.

Am I a Manipulator?

Yes, I am a Manipulator. It would be hypocritical of me to say that I'm not, because if I wasn't a Handler, I wouldn't have chosen this world to live my new life in.

Would you choose a world where you didn't have the basics of knowledge about it?

Would you try to live in a place you didn't like?

If I were not a Manipulator, I might choose that world where breasts have the power to distort reality for a brief moment, or even where a "guy with no nose" has serious daddy issues.

Is it wrong to Manipulate by tempting someone for the greater good?

By the morality of humans, it is something toxic.

By my morality, No.

Look at Dumbledore, he manipulated Harry Potter's whole life as the 'Chess Master' and in the end, he was worshipped by the ground he went through all those stupid sheep as a savior of the world.

Their world was only England, the other countries were completely ignored. I refused to accept that Magic England was the strongest in the Wizarding world.

China and India, there were these two countries with gigantic populations that outnumbered England astronomically, I refused to believe that they couldn't compete head-on with Magic England in terms of magic.

Anyway, I can manipulate people, but there was a certain line that I refused to cross.

I can manipulate others for my benefit, yes, but if it's too risky and if it puts that person's life at risk, I'd better do all the work myself.

''Finn, you jester. I'm going to like you even if you become a hideous creature of the night.''

''Even if I were to become a creature that spits acid fire, has two large pairs of horns and bat wings?''

He paused for a moment seeming to imagine such a creature and then said. "Finn... I think BMO had better call Doctor Princess to check your injuries. Finn hit his head pretty hard.''

'Princess is just his last name.' I thought dryly.

''You don't need to call Doctor Princess, BMO. Let's play. I told him, causing him to interrupt the call for Doctor Princess.

''Hey!''

( Scene Break )

''Stupid Finn!'' shouted BMO as he ran away with the control.

Phew... I think BMO hates me now.

After staying a few hours playing, I was winning every match in a row, BMO changed the difficulty of the game to the highest.

The system gave me the mission to win at least 3 matches in a row and I would gain a new skill called [ Great Fireball ].

Since I didn't like to lose, even more involving a System reward, I did exactly that and ended up winning all the matches, making BMO upset with me.

I knew exactly how to cheer him up again, Magic.

''BMO, do you want to see some magic?'' I said to him.

Although he didn't answer, I could see out of the corner of my eye that he was paying attention to me.

I held up my finger and said. ''Lumos.'' A beam of light came from the tip of my finger.

BMO quickly returned happy as he looked at the small glowing ball of light.

''Do it again Finn!''

''Lumos.''

Another beam of light came out of my fingertip, brightening BMO's mood even more.

''One more!''

''Lumos.''

Seeing that I was succeeding in making him happier with my magic, I continued doing so until he forgot that I had zeroed all his games.

While I was making him happy, I started mentally talking to System, I wanted to buy some things.

The system could quickly help me with that.

( Jake 3ª Pov )

Jake is Finn's constant companion, best friend, and foster brother.

Jake has a unique set of abilities called 'Stretchy Powers' that allows him to manipulate the shape and size of his body, which comes in handy on numerous occasions throughout his crazy adventures with Finn.

Jake is generally laid back and tends not to worry about things and usually makes jokes in serious situations, but, there was one exception for him to get serious. That would be when his best friend, Finn, got into serious trouble. Jake would be the first to help him.

Yesterday late in the afternoon, Finn had fought a Cyclops at the request of the Bubblegum Princess.

Bubblegum wanted them to bring back some of the Cyclops' tears so that she could study the healing properties of the tears.

Like almost all of their fights so far, Finn threw himself headlong into the fight without considering his safety, resulting in a brutal beating of Finn by Cyclops. Because of this, Jake stopped the fight before the worst could happen.

He quickly took the injured Finn to the Princess for her to take care of Finn, and after some procedures, the Princess said that it was for Finn to rest until he got better and that it was for them to stay out of trouble for a while.

Jake was surprised to see his little brother completely fine after taking a complete beating from Cyclops, as well as acting strange.

In the brief conversations Jake had with Finn, Jake noticed that his little brother seemed to have changed, he was more serious and with a distant look, and didn't have that full of energy look...kind of silly.

Finn was terrible in the kitchen, and Jake knew it all too well. No matter what kind of food he made, something monstrous and tentacle-filled always came out, and this time he managed to cook it without burning anything or making anything monstrous besides, it was tasty.

So Jake ended up lying when he said he was going to visit Lady and went straight to the Candy Kingdom to talk to Princess Bubblegum about Finn.

Maybe Finn would be upset that he told his unrequited crush that he was acting strange, maybe he would get back to normal.

In front of him was Princess Bubblegum, she is tall and slender, with light pink skin and magenta pink hair. Her main costume is a dark pink, puff-sleeved dress with a purple collar and a sash around her waist and purple ballet shoes that was specially made to hide as much skin as possible.

She wears a Gold Crown with a turquoise jewel embedded in the pinnacle.

''So Finn has woken up and is acting strangely after his fight with The Cyclops?"

Princess Bubblegum said and from the tone of her voice, she sounded hoarse and had dark circles under her eyes. She was signing some papers and seemed too busy to look at Jake.

''Yeah, he's not acting like the normal Finn, his usual cheerful way.

''Maybe he's learned a hard lesson? The way you brought him to me yesterday, it looks like he took it pretty hard.''

Princess Bubblegum seemed to be trying hard not to let out a small giggle as her lips twitched slightly.

She picked up the paper and crushed it before throwing it into the trash can.

For a moment, she stopped scribbling on her papers and looked at Jake.

''Can you bring him here? I can examine him again.''

''Okay, I'll bring him here quickly, before something happens,'' Jake told her and got up from his chair as he ran to an arched window and jumped through it.

He changed shape to a hang-glider as he glided toward the Tree House.

Bubblegum turned his attention back to the paperwork before sighing heavily. ''Peppermint Butler?''

The door opened and a peppermint candy entered. He wore the traditional butler's tuxedo. His shoes, gloves, and butterfly tie are red, matching his red stripes.

''Did you call for me, Princess?''

''Yes, please bring me a cup of chamomile tea.'' Princess Bubblegum said to him.

The butler made a quick kindle and asked another question.'' I'll be quick, does the princess need anything else besides the tea?''

''No, I don't need anything else, thank you Peps,'' she replied softly.

( Finn 1ª Pov. )

After cheering BMO up with magic I ended up giving him a 'Memory Card' full of new games and music from my world as a gift, he quickly started downloading everything at once.

For a brief moment, I wondered if he had that much space to store that much information inside his hard drive.

Just for buying that 'memory card', it cost me all my 100 gold coins.

Meanwhile, I wasn't just vegging out in the store and was also looking at skills that could help me in the future, like 'Anti-Magic' would be nice to have against wizards.

On the other hand, the skills were not that cheap.

The [ Fireball ] cost 200 gold coins and [ Great Fireball ] cost 1,000 gold coins.

If I ended up adding up everything I needed, I would end up spending 5,000 gold coins in total.

Ten solar panels, a large luxury TV, an electric shower, five portable solar energy storage units, a cooler, and a refrigerator.

All had their uses, the solar panel generated solar energy to power all the electronics for quite a while.

There was no way to take a hot shower in the Tree House, the only freezer inside the house needed to be constantly fed ice, having the refrigerator and freezer would leave me free from the worry of spoiling some food.

As a person who lived in the modern age until a few hours ago, the lack of technology in this place made me a little uncomfortable.

There were plenty of things to keep me busy for a long time, I just needed to know how much to hit the jackpot.

Until the beginning of the plot, I could make some changes like

preventing the 'Snail' from getting into my pack and releasing the Lich or even allowing them to steal 'The Enchiridion'.

Knowing how important 'The Enchiridion' is, I don't think it's right to give it to some random 'Bear'.

There are many things I could change in the course of the plot that would benefit me greatly.

But for now, I should start raising my stats while I have free time.
