I'm Finally a Tree, But Why am I a Demon Lord

Botanist Satoshi Ki suddenly dies, meets a God, and got reincarnated as a tree. Or so he thought (on hiatus) Disclaimer: This novel follows a (kinda) omniscient pattern or when the author scrutinizes the characters to get a deeper knowledge of them and the world so if you are the type of reader that only wants to see the mc, you've been warned ;)

Forged!

With a loud thump, the same knight I punched through trees appeared before me and Ivy.

"Oh! Two sylphs!" He exclaimed with a disgusting smile.

"Don't.Move." Ivy whispered.

The knight got closer and closer, brandishing his sword as he walked.

Suddenly, he ran towards us. Sylph charged her bow and an arrow with a tip as big as a human solidified on her bow.

The knight stopped. He stared at Ivy. He smiled. Then he ran again.

Ivy released her arrow, resulting in a loud boom that shook the surrounding air.

The knight's momentum didn't stop. Ivy charged another arrow. I tried to walk closer to Ivy, only to be stopped by a look from her.

The arrow hit the knight, but he simply blocked it with his sword and sidestepped. So did the another arrow.

After a few minutes, he is at sword's length away from Ivy. But she never faltered, and I wanted to jump forward so bad.

Suddenly, just as he was about to hack his sword down at Ivy, Maxim's dome of air crashed down on him at full speed. He should be dead… right?

Maxim's dome crashed on the humans below, killing a some of them, but a lot still remained.

"Are you fine?" I asked Ivy.

"I'm drained of mana is all."

"Okay…"

"Well you're not fine— come here." She pulled me, healing me in her embrace.

The two of us sat and recuperated on the branch while Maxim...Kalgar? AND ILLAR?! When did he get outta there…

*Maxim*

Phew, we made it in time.

I stood up as the dome slowly receded, showing the humans that surrounded us, then… I looked at Illar. The mouth on his stomach flowing with thick, slimy saliva as his eyes feasted on the humans in front of him.

"Freesh.Meaat.Fresh.Meat.Fresh MEAAAT.FRESH.MEAT.FRESH.MEAAAAAAT" Illar growled, louder and louder, getting more furious and emits more drool as the dome slowly dissipates.

"Do we even need to fight?" Kalgar asked, he scratched his head, taking out his book and started summoning his undead.

I simply flashed him a smile then looked at the tall knight in front of me. A mere knight that has the audacity of removing his helm right in front of me. A mere knight who dares look at me straight in the eye. A mere knight who is but an otherworlder who does not know of mortal hardship. A mere knight.

He shouldered his towering hammer and continued to look at... me...WITH A DAMN SMILE.

I WILL TEAR THE LIMBS OF THIS HUMAN

Then, the dome dissipated.

Illar opened his mouth, releasing the damned souls inside him, pulling the shield bearers to his deathly embrace.

Kalgar's undead jumped to the humans in front of him, decaying them with a bite.

Meanwhile, the human in front of me did not move. He stayed still. And so did I.

Slowly, I held my hand open, summoning my spirit weapon… a scythe, my graceful Baby, tied to a long chain that dug itself on my heart. I started spinning my scythe to gain momentum then slashed it on him.

The human...smiled even deeper, stretching out his hammer towards my scythe… does he think he can catch it? FOOL!

My baby simple went through his hammer, going straight for his heart. The fool of a human being got alarmed, he jumped away, fearing for his pitiful life.

He took a leap backwards, avoiding my baby. I turned and my baby got a lot of momentum, enough to slice him to half. He kept jumping backwards, I kept jumping forward. Eventually, he leapt up, and stepped on the sky, crashing towards me like a meteor.

I dodged sideways, but he stepped again in the air again, redirecting himself. I slashed my baby towards him, but he nimbly dodged again. '

I can't let that hammer get close.

I tapped the air, creating a small, invisible spike. I did that while we jumped around and that monkey of a human did not even notice, he just blindly followed me.

Suddenly, he stopped and jumped backwards, creating walls of wind that he pushed towards me, revealing the invisible spikes. He smiled, before leaping towards me again but this time, very much faster. I spun with my baby, and he dodged every slice.

He got closer...and closer. Until eventually, I'm at smashing distance. With one strong leap and with one strong heave, he smashed his humongous hammer towards me, disturbing the air as it moved forward.

With a smile, I hid myself, being one with the air that surrounds me. The monkey human, upon realization that he smashed nothing, stayed still. He solidified the surrounding air and pushed it outwards in an attempt to reveal me.

I have to admit, that is a clever trick, and he did reveal me, leaping towards me as he did and smashed his hammer down on me. Crap, I might get hit.

As his hammer got closer and closer, my baby's momentum got higher and higher, slicing every blade of grass and leaf she passes through. Although he cannot physically see me, his knowledge of the wind is profound enough to know where I am. Not so foolish of a human after all… what a waste.

I lashed out my baby, separating his two arms away from his body. He shrieked in pain as he fell to the ground and swam in his own blood.

"H-HOW?!" He screamed.

"Because you're human." I replied before severing his head away from his body.

I looked over at Illar, watching him tear a dead knight who uses a long sword.

Meanwhile, Kalgar is seamlessly controlling his small army while he himself fights.

Then a group of humans came at me, two equipped with shields accompanied by a lancer and a mage... they seem capable.

The two shield bearers combined their shields, forming a huge wall that quadrupled my size. Well this is trouble.

Their approach slowed down, trying to play safe. I hid myself, going invisible while I attempt to go on their sides, but their mages casted a spell that released blasts of dusts, revealing me when the dust gets to me. They followed with salvos of lance attacks and blasts of fire.

I spun the air around me while dodging the attacks in an attempt to brush off the dust. I jumped upwards and lashed out my baby, decapitating one Spearman of his upper body. But what followed is a pillar of fire that erupted right below me.

I swung my baby towards a branch then pulled myself, but the fire still caught on to me, burning a portion of my legs.

Hanging on the branch, the mage started casting another pillar of flames and the spearmen are waiting for me to move and charge at me… Am I cornered? By these… humans?

Nope.

I swung my way up the tree, ignoring the pillar of searing flames about to erupt on me and the spearmen also climbing the tree's around me.

Then, I lashed my baby on to another tree and pulled myself, towards the spearman on it, as I disappeared to thin air. He's blind without the mages, so I crashed on him with multiple layers of air, sending him free-falling till I whipped my baby, culling off his empty head.

The pillar of flames erupted again on the same tree, melting it a littl… that's it!

The creatures of this forest are… the forged!

I shudder a little even thinking of them...
