121 chapter 108: human surpremisy!?
They traveled for two days and three nights across the plain fields of Danafall,
Lotus wasen't as in shape as her and he needed alot of brakes or reasts
Each night they would make a camp fire and they both would immediately go to sleep without a care In the world, but someone would wake up before they went back to running.
Also they'd see the occasional peacful beasts around there.
During those two days lotus hadn't been eating properly and the only thing he did was eat something normal with her.
And
He'd occasionally go out by himself while she slept and he'd hunt down a small beast which he'd sink his fangs into while alive.
The beasts blood worked but it wasen't very tasty and was kind of bland, he wouldn't kill them but he would feed enough to restore all of his mana and a decent amount of hunger.

"Are we their yet" he complained and she looked at him while they were running "don't make me stop running lotus, I swear I will" she said threateningly.
They were currently in a small forest and then after running a bit more he was about to ask again making her pull over.
But then he saw a light and they both left out of the forest to see the afternoon sun shining bright and a large town.
She then toughed on his shirt and they stoped "what's wrong?" he asked confused and she took something out of her bag and passed it to him.
"Wear this, life on the outside of Danafall you home kindom is very diffrent and both our looks could bring trouble, especially me for being a woman and also not native to this land. . .Then theirs you...Well looking like you, also that unnatural hair of yours which also can draw out attention" she said bluntly.

Being a woman isn't that grate since there's thugs and bandits, especially since she's a beauty, there's a high with absolutely no background, she's bound to draw attention and trouble to herself.

"Lotus can you tell I'm a girl" she asked his opinion and he bluntly said "I don't know what you are?" he said and she smiled "good" she replied.
"Okay so this is the place we're going to be staying at for a the adventure, I was trained and then stationed here as a child so I know there's something going on in here that needs two adventures to solve" she said happily as she put the bag back on her.
She than became serious "lotus outside of Danafall it's all mostly human surpremisy and their all pretty racist twards other races, ecpecally beastkin, also the human race is big on worshipping the heavens and gods so thats a thing too meaning demonic beings are hatred as well" she said explaining before saying.
"So if you have friends of those races, please don't try and cause trouble if offended, the last thing I need is one of us getting in serious trouble" she said reasonably.
"Don't worry I'm the least of your problem~ I'll behave" he said as he felt his stomach grumble and his eyes shimmered for a sec.
She sighed "lotus your the biggest if my worries! from all of what I know about you, your a first-stage mana cultivator and the weakest a common thug around here, is a thrid-stage Qi cultivator, who's body gets enhanced as their stage increases. and then theirs you a mana welder with your magic getting strengthened" she said seriously as he was a weak and pushover type person in the eyes of everyone with actual power here.

We entered and after a while found a inn and it was filled with adventures and also other tough looking people, some with battle scars, others and mostly all with armor, even some who looked good with high standard clothing as they all sat there and drank in a way.
It was like being at a tavern except it was ment to find a place to stay.
Paying two silvers she found us a room, we shared one as well as one bed to save money since we both didn't bring much money.
Well more like lotus left all of his money to Mia which he left on her dresser with a note on it since that money could go a long way for them. . .Also to take care of the other four and make the home financially good for a long time thanks to the platinum coin.

He was sad about that when they entered the rented room. now finding work aka an adventure was a must!
"Lotus I'm leaving, oh yeah tomorrow morning were going to church as well" she said closing the door and his entire expression died.
His back hit the bed and he just thought to himself "I forgot Shiro mentioned one time that her and Maria were religious" now thinking about it he had a random thought.
"Maybe I could convert them into Satanist?" he said basically throwing the heavens out and pulling up to the devil like. hi we're assfuck and Kelly, we'd like to switch~.
Throwing that thought out of the window lotus put his stuff down and took off the disguise

"I'm hungry, i guess its time to go out and search for food" he said stretching and then covering himself with normal clothing not to show his incubus clothing besides the long sleeves which went past his hands.
He didnt like the whole disguise he wore before, it made him feel weird, so he kinda went in stupid and just walked out without it.

Going down to the first floor he walked out and immediately caught the eyes of everyone, besides his looks he also seemed foreign to this land.
The first thing everyone noticed was he bared no weapon or armor and then his power, they couldn't feel much of anything which told them he was hiding it or he was just weak.
He ignored the glars at him as he was very embarrassed to be looked at and they all just went back to what they were doing before, except a few kept staring.
He sat at a stool infront of the inn's keeper and as she was washing a cup he asked "hey boss lady, is their anything you need done around here?" he said kindly and she just glared at him as she continued working.
She looked at him and then over to a table of people and then a few other places before looking back at him "do the dishes and sweat up around here and I'll give you ten coppers" she said as she needed some help around here.
"Hai!" he agreed happily and he them started working around there for a hour and a half.

He originally hoped for maybe some adventure work were he would fight something and maybe eat the monster's flesh and blood.
Sitting down all he could think was that not all adventures go as planned as you expected.

They chatted for while and she had offered him it again two more times before she saw that his face was clearly telling her, he was a bit drunk.
"Thanks for listening to my rambling, but I should go" he said as his stomach growled and he needed to find something to eat.
"An I boring you?" she asked and he shook his head "then stay a bit longer" she said with a innocent smile and he couldn't resist and ended up staying.
She was happy to hear this and she looked over to a group of girls and they smiled as well before she then turned back to him.
"Oh yea. take this, I swear you'll love it" she said taking out a pink tablet and moving it to his mouth "open up" she said and he did.
He ate it and as he did he looked at her weirdly "is it candy or something?" he asked as he couldn't tell from its light sweetness and soda like texture.
She nodded her head "you could say that~" she said softly and he thanked her.
But then after a few minutes of them talking he suddenly felt a bit light headed as his body started burning up.

As he saw her he saw the window open and it was night time "oh you're back" she said looking over to the door were he was.
"I thought you were going to rest" she said but then noticed he was wearing casual clothing "where's your disguise? also where'd you go" she said looking at his messy self.
"I don't remember...But I think I went around looking for work inn here?" he said and she then looked at his neck and sighed.
"Come here and sit next to me" she said shaking her head in disappointment as he did something stupid while they haven't even been there for half a day.
She went and got a small wet towel and then sat down next to him. once she got there she looked at the two fang marks on his neck and she started wiping his dried blood from there.

She then thought about a few more other things making her angry since this town had a lot of good but also bad memories.
But then after having a few angry moments she tried calming down but then it didn't work, she really wanted to punch something.
She looked over to lotus sleeping and her expression became soft and she put her hand on his head before kissing him on the cheek and getting up.
She put her disguise on and then opened the window were her body then turned into red mana bats and she left.

Coming back early in the morning she felt a lot better but her knuckles were bandaged from... "taking care of business".
She then attended to wake up lotus and once the words church came out of her mouth, he clung to the bed refusing to go.
"Stop resisting! We're going and thats final!" she said pulling his leg as he wouldn't let go of the bed.

After an embarrassing 5 minute of behind held in the air and pouting he finally gave in to escape the suffering of being treated like a child.
"Fine! Whatever makes you happy" he pouted and crossed his arms looking away "good~" she said putting him down and they both left after putting on their disguise.
They both left the room and as they were walking through the bottom floor of the inn lotus saw the girl from yesterday sitting with her friends

"I don't get it? What do you mean?" lotus asked the man as there was a crowd listing to his preachings, he must of been a church official or something.
"Young man there are demons amongst us, hiding amongst man like a wolf in sheep's clothing!" he yelled to the crown while talking to lotus which was both demon and darkness.
"We the church will not let such evil live on, all that lives in such darkness will be purified and those heretics who side with them will be purified as well!" he preached and the crowd cheered.
Meanwhile lotus was annoyed by this man, his hands balled up into fist and as he was about to say something Maria grabbed his hand "these people live in the dark, they have little knowledge of what actually happen in the world but they will one day, when the war is over they will be re-educated" she wispered to him.
Even tho the church high officials like all priest already knew that demons and other races weren't truly evil but still used them for their own political gain.
But lotus would let this go, lotus was angry as he clamed a whole race to be evil.
If he wants evil I'll show him evil "¿vox notell ponsi caratella izn¿" he said and his mana spiked converting 1,000 core mana into cursed energy which flowed out of him undetected and hit the preacher.
Lotus cursed the preacher and the only traces of the curse that was noticed was the shiver that went down every person's spine as they were out there.
Lotus and Maria walked away and lotus mood shifted to happy as that was so worth it

He walked inside of their and then as soon as he touched holy water it felt like it made him feel very uncomfortable.
Luckily nothing burned him or hurt him...it was all just very fucking irritating and annoying inside of there.

They...More like lotus immediately left the church but as he did he bumped into the priest.
His hood fell down as they both fell to their butts and the father apologized before looking at him and then freezing up.
"Its alright, it was my fault for not looking father karlson" lotus apologize but then he saw a strange look in the fathers eyes as his eyes lit up yellow.
The fathers eyes shifted back to brown and his expression became cheerful as he grabbed lotus's hands and helped him up.
"I didn't recognize you because of that cloak hidding you, come we have much to discuss brother" he said in a joyous manner meanwhile Maria who was next to lotus looked confused as well as some other people who saw what happened and was going to help the priest up.
"Brother?" they said confused.
"Lotus you have a brother" Maria said confused but he shook his head and then looked over to the priest.
"I don't know what your talking about, I'm just a simple adventur, father karlson" lotus said backing away from this clearly crazy man.
"I see..." he said looking at lotus's facial expression which told him eveything "well then, the church is always open to you brother lotus, visit me when you and your companion are free, we must speak...Privately" he said grabbing lotus's hand and then whispering something into his ear which confused lotus greatly.
Lotus and Maria walked away and as they got away from that crazy priest lotus asked Maria a question.
"Who's Khorne?" he asked and Maria's eyes opened wide as he said the name of her God which she and the other vampires worshiped.
Meanwhile the priest looked at lotus walking away and he mumbled "its been about a hundred years since I've seen another child of Khorne walking around these parts... I Can't wait to talk with him, there's so much I need to discuss and show him" he said to himself as he was happy to see lotus.
After all lotus was his brother-kin and no matter his race he'd be accepted by this angel.

Not long after the run in with that crazy priest lotus and them entered the middle of town were they heard yelling of someone saying let me go, and then a crowd.
Lotus rushed to the yelling and Maria followed but as they got past the crowd they saw three people tied to three crosses and there were sicks all around there like they were burning a witch.
"Today we have a witch, a vampre and a Demon!" another priest said as he had guards behind the three tried to crosses incase something was to inturupet this.
"And today we will purify these evil creatures and send them back to the dark holes they crawled out of" the priest said and lotus eyes opened wide as it was a live execution.
His mana started bubbling up.
"Fuck you, you stupid apes! you all are corrupt and you all say you carry out the will of the heavens, but its all bol-shit and you know it! whats our sin then! yeah we don't have any but the sin of life! you stupid fucking ape" the vampire yelled as she was the only one ungaged.
The priest contined to preacher and the girl bad mouthed him more untill she was suddenly hit with a tomato.
The crowd them chanted purify and then the knight next to the priest lit a torch ready to burn them all.
Lotus couldn't stand any of this anymore and he tried to run at then but Maria grabbed his arm making him unable to run at them.
"What are you doing!? there going to kill innocent people!" he said as he saw tears coming down the witch and Demon's eyes.
"There's nothing we can do, this is just how the world works out here" she said as she wanted to help her fellow vampire but she couldn't do anything but stand there and watch.
Lotus felt his hearts pound and he couldn't stand for this anymore, rage was building up in him and his eyes turned red as he wasn't about to let them die.
Maria looked just as upset about this and she looked down as she couldn't do a thing since if she did she'd be killed by all the knights over the fifth stage and she had to protect lotus who would & could be hurt in the process.
"Now let's purify the evil like are ancestors before us! now return from were you came monster's " the priest yelled and lotus snapped as he wasen't about to watch them die.
"There's nothing you can do but I can save them!" his arms turned into blades of darkness but then as he started rushing at them an arrow cake out of nowhere and hit the torch out of the man's hands.
"Am I late" a man with a gratesword said as he leaped off of a building and landed infront of the three captured.
Meanwhile ontop of all the surrounding buildings there were many humans with bows aimed at the crowd and knights as they surrounded us all.
"Its the resistance!" a human civilian said "you filthy haritic only came here to die!" a knight said approaching the man but then in an instant he was cleaved in half.
"Sorry baby but handsome Jack is to sexy to be killed"
