Chapter Seven: Two days?!

Xash was currently flying in the air but was carried away by the Quest Reward he received from the system and had forgotten about the 2 minutes duration of his abilities.

It was when he received a warning notification from the system that he realised how far he was from the ground.

"Am I going to die now? I don't think I can make it to the ground in the next 30 seconds."

Xash tried flying towards the ground but he was still far from reaching the ground even at the 15th second.

[ Levitation Ability cooling off time begins ]

"Oh crap! I'm going to fall!"

A soft and gentle music played from a distant as Xash opened his eyes.

He found himself in a spaceship, one that looks exactly like a room. The walls and floors were painted white.

The furnitures and bed clothing were all white in colour. It was like he was in a palace of some sort.

He would have called it heaven if not for the soldiers he saw standing outside the door.

"Am I dead? Are human soldiers also in heaven?"

He looked around him, apart from the soldiers standing at the door, there was no single person in the room with him. That makes him wonder where he was. But there was a needle inserted into his vein with a water drip made to flow into it. Although it wasn't painful, he found it discomforting.

"Do they have drips in heaven." Xash laughed it off realising how ridiculous and untrue it sounds.

He removed the needle from his hands and sat up. Peeping through the window, he saw that it was already nighttime, but what was strange as he looked outside was when he saw only clouds. There was no single house in sight as it looks as if they were in the air, or heaven as he initially thought.

"Where the hell am I?" As he tried getting off the bed, he suddenly felt a slight pain on his back. "Shit, that hurts. I must have fallen to the ground."

As Xash thought about the incident that happened, he suddenly recalled the system notification he got from destroying the Protagonist's Spaceship.

[ The level up option is available, do you wish to level up? ]

"Sure, at least I'll get to increase the duration of my abilities."

[ Leveling up… ]

[ 535/200 ]

[ Congratulations, you're now in level two ]

[ 415/300 ]

The first thing Xash checked was his ability.

[ Stripping Ability: Healing, Fire, Telekinesis, Levitation, Hacking Abilities (Duration of two minutes, cooling time of one minute) ]

"Shouldn't it increase now that I've levelled up." He grinned with anger.

'Or perhaps I need to get to level ten. Things like this also happened to the protagonist.'

Amidst of his thought, he suddenly heard a voice.

"Hey brother, you're awake!" Xanny said as she walked in a red coloured gown covered in glittering red satin.

She sat beside Xash and kissed him on the cheek.

"I'm glad you're awake brother. You've been asleep for two days now."

"Two days?!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah, we saw you fall from the sky and seriously speaking, you broke a lot of bones. I thought you were dead. I thought you were going to leave me all alone." Xanny said with tears rolling down her eyes.

Xash could feel the pain coming from her tears. He was all she has since they never saw their mother, and their father didn't show much affection to them due to his violent nature.

He really didn't care so much about them since their mother was not alive. He made them train like soldiers from their very young age till they grew up. Same applies to their other siblings. He made all of his children train like warriors preparing for a war.

During the trainings, Xanny was often picked on by her step brothers since she was the only female at that time, but Xash would always stand up to protect her.

And when they realised that Xash didn't have any ability, they started bullying him but Xanny in turn would stand up to protect him.

She promised to protect her blood brother no matter what. And she keeps on doing that till now.

But when she saw her brother fall from the sky with the bones of his body broken, she felt bad for not being there to catch and protect him from getting hurt.

Xash felt sad seeing Xanny cry like this, although he didn't know why, he realised that it must be because of the love and affection both siblings had for each other.

'This is a natural feeling, I'm not the type to feel sad for girls. And by the way, I don't have a sister in real life, talkless of a twin.'

"It's okay Xanny, you will mess up your makeup." He forcibly said. Although he felt relieved after saying that.

Xanny dried off her tears and glanced at Xash. "That reminds me, do you have something to do with the spaceship crash?" She asked.

"Kind of." He replied meekly.

"Really? Do you have an ability now?" She exclaimed with excitement that Xash was finding it hard to lie to her.

Meanwhile, he's debating within himself whether to tell her or not. The ability he has is the first of its kind and would look like an exaggeration to anyone he reveals it to. Who would believe it's possible to have more than one ability at a time.

And besides his stripping ability was something everyone would like to have for themselves. Just imagine taking away your opponent's ability during a fight. It's an overpowered ability and it can't be owned by just anyone.

Xash's overpowered ability was created specially to kill the protagonist, he would rather not reveal it to anyone, including Xanny if possible.

Xanny noticed that Xash was taking too long to reply so she decided to speak up. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me." She said with a smile.

"I'm sorry." Xash replied.

"Don't worry, I understand you better than anyone else. Go have your bath, we'll be arriving soon."

"Arriving where?" Xash asked, having no idea where he even was.

"Home! Father is having his birthday party tonight. I don't care what you think but you're attending it. Be fast our ship will soon land." She said. Now Xash realised that he was on a ship this whole time. During his years in the real world on earth, he didn't get to enter a spaceship because it was rare and made only for official use but it seems like almost everyone has a spaceship in this novel world.

"Of course I'm going to attend. I have something to discuss with him anyway." Xash smirked.

"Go have your bath, I prepared a red suit for you." Xanny said as she left the room.

"I wonder how big this ship is, for them to have a room as large as this. It also have a bathroom. This novel world is crazy huh?"

"Stay put people, we're arriving at our destination in two minutes." Xanny said to the soldiers in the ship before making her way into Xash room.

"Brother, are you ready?" Xanny said. Her eyes wandered through the room, searching for Xash.

"I've been meaning to ask, how many ships does Planet X owns?" Xash asked as he appeared out of a corner with a bottle of wine in his hands.

Xanny looked at him from the head to toe and was perplexed for a while.

"What?" Xash said. "Is red bad on me?" He took a look at the red suit he wore, it was exactly his fitting. Xanny really has a good taste in fashion.

"Noo, it's just that… you look so stunning. You're too handsome for a man."

'I get that a lot from where I came from. But thanks to the leveling up, I became more handsome.' Xash thought to himself.

"Thanks, you're not bad yourself." Xash complimented her. And for a second, Xanny blushed at the statement.

Xanny looked through the window and saw a multitude of people gathered around at a distance, with spaceships landing side by side at the ship dock.

A gigantic house stood about a few metres away from the gathering and upon looking at the house, it reminded her of the past. All what she experienced and endured in that house.

She sighed deeply as she shift her gaze away from the sight. Her fingers trembled as she tried to regain her balance.

"We're here." She said a bit sadly.
