25 Receiving The Quest's Rewards...

Before the chapter begins, I have something to say.

Look, I don't give a FUCK if you don't like the novel or not, but it's getting fucking annoying to see reviews saying, "U-uh, the story was great until it was shown that the MC is homophobic." or simply about the homophobic MC.

I don't give a fuck about this kind of review; if you simply dislike the fact that the MC is homophobic, simply quit reading the novel.

I don't need to see you expressing your dislike for homophobic MCs or even people, especially in a fictional work.

Also, I don't even care about losing readers or something like that; this work is purely made for fun, and I can delete it anytime, so simply (respectively) FUCK OFF.

Although I value the reader's opinions, which are very important to me, I would not change the MC's personality as a result.

So, simply continue reading or simply quit reading it without expressing your annoying opinion.

I've already put a warning in the novel's description, so if I see another review like that, I'll simply delete it.

I don't need to see the same thing over and over again.

Somewhere...

"So, what are your thoughts on that kid?"

"You mean, Matthew? Mhm... It's quite complicated, I really couldn't estimate his power despite my [Mind's Eye]..." Margaret sighed as she crossed her legs, playing with a knife out of boredom.

"I see... After all, that kind of class awakening is too huge of a factor for him to be so easily seen through. Anything more?"

"Oh, yeah. He's a charming little devil... I can't believe he was so rough on my first kiss..." Margaret bluntly remarked, touching her lips as she reminisced about that same moment.

"I see... u-uh... WAIT WHAT!? He kissed you!?" The figure exclaimed in shock.

"Oh... about that... I kind of got attracted to him, ahem..." Margaret admitted with a cough.

Hearing her words, the figure's eyebrows furrowed. "You... teased him, didn't you? And I guess you were also drinking a 'Margarita'...?"

"...Am I that easy to read!?" Margaret grumbled.

"Yep," the figure nodded, causing Margaret to sigh.

"Anyway, if you can't assess his Status, there's two things that we need to keep in mind...perhaps he's already contracted with a High-tier constellation, or his Class is just that powerful."

"Based on the Crystal Evaluation Ball's reaction, I'd lean towards the latter. It seems that his class has some form of self-protection..."

"Well, let's keep that to another day. Tell me, did you get what I wanted?" The figure asked directly.

With a smile, Margaret took out a necklace and tossed it to the figure. "Of course. I wouldn't fail at such an easy task~"

"Great... now we can proceed with the second part of the plan." The figure smiled faintly as it caught the necklace.

Meanwhile...

Seated in a lotus position, Matthew took a deep breath and asked the system to retrieve the rewards from the quest.

The rewards are currently being granted...

As the notification appeared before Matthew, he felt an unknown energy flow through his body, automatically condensing itself into a Mana Circle.

The energy grabbed his red mana, and with it, it slowly transformed itself into his 3rd Mana Circle, which was now made of his red mana.

Instantly, Matthew felt a faint warmth spread through his entire body, however, it still wasn't over.

"Keugh...!"

Suddenly, Matthew felt a strange pain on his chest, as if his heart had been squeezed by a hand.

And with that, a violet energy that Matthew had never seen before enveloped his entire body, most specifically his first mana circle.

"Ugh...! I-is this Nether?" Matthew wondered as he felt his first circle pulsating with energy.

Slowly, the violet energy that was enveloping his body disappeared into his body and strengthened his first mana circle.

Sigh...

Matthew sighed in relief after sensing that it was over, but... it still wasn't over, there was still one more process.

Hisss...

A shiver ran down his spine as an intense chill enveloped him, freezing the surroundings gradually.

Simultaneously, another attribute surged into his second Mana Circle, where only the ice attribute had resided.

From the ground, vines sprouted and quickly overtook the room, weaving a tapestry of leaves and verdant growth.

Slowly, Matthew felt that his 2nd Mana Circle had been transformed, and now it was the combination of two attributes...

Hisss! BOOM!

His aura erupted, instantly reverting the room to its original state as the dual attributes integrated into his being.

Huff...! Haaaaaaaa!

Matthew panted heavily, beads of sweat trickling down his body to the floor.

The process had proven more arduous than anticipated...

"Ahh... my 'second' attribute is... Plant? That's rather intriguing." Matthew rose and stretched his body.

He took a deep breath...!

"Rise."

Rustle...!

From his hand, a green vine emerged, and seeing this, Matthew started doing a few tests.

And the first one was directly trying to combine those two attributes.

He took a deep breath where a faint smoke could be seen as the surrouding turned slighly colder.

"Rise...!"

Rustle!

This time, another green vine emerged from his hand, but this time it was completely frozen.

The thorns that came out of the vine were an ice beak that appeared quite sharp, and could easily pierce through a human's skin.

"Ah... that spent a lot more mana than I had thought..." Matthew stretched out his arms.

"Mana Circles Properties."

Seeing the panel in front of him, Matthew nodded in satisfaction. He was currently very powerful for an F Rank hunter.

And along with his Mana Circles, if he added his Class's Skills, he could probably reach the power of a D+ Hunter or even a C-.

However, the questions about his special attribute [Spade's Paradox] bothered him a lot.

He had read about it on the book that Roxanne had given him, but even the book that seemed to come from thousands of years go, didn't have much information about it.

And just to make things worse, he had forgotten to ask the Goddess of Night about it.

"Honestly, I'm not that surprised that my 'second' attribute is Plant, after all, the other constellation is the Goddess of Earth, so it makes sense that I have a single power from both of them."

"Nyx, and Gaia/Gaea... huh. If they're really related to ancient mythology, that should be their names..."

"Still... Now that I think... isn't Nyx married to some god? I think his name was... Erebus or something, or am I wrong?"

"And Gaia... ugh, didn't she have like 2 or 3 guys on her or something?"

"Also... why are they called "Goddesses" when I'm pretty sure they were Primordials or something?"

Listening to his own monologue, Matthew got more and more confused, but then he cleared his thoughts immediately.

"Well... they also can not be related to the Ancient Mythology and I'm just here spewing nonsense." He sighed deeply.

Thinking about it, isn't going to lead him to anything, if anything, he can ask those "Goddesses" about it when they appear.

"Damn... I'm freaking sweaty, I'll go and take a bath." Matthew said as he looked at his sweaty body.

He could simply use the spell "Clean," but he simply wanted to take a bath. He liked feeling the warm water caressing his body.

He undressed himself and hopped in the shower, taking his sweet time to take a shower...

⋘ The Goddess of Night says that you have a nice White Dragon and would like to see it spewing flames. ⋙

"..."

⋘ The Goddess of Earth agrees with the Goddess of Night and finds your monologue from a few minutes ago entertaining. ⋙

"...Can't I fucking have some privacy?"
