1 Chapter 1

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

The sky above was completely dyed in black, looking very gloomy.

Crimson fire and chaos engulfed the village of Konoha. The village was filled with signs of destruction and the people's cry of despair.

Today was the very worst day for the people living in Konoha.

In the middle of the village was an enormous nine-tailed fox who was constantly releasing an overwhelming bloodlust. It was berserk, destroying everything on it's path.

The nine-tailed fox then shifted it's gaze filled with madness, toward a yellow-haired man wearing a white coat.

Roarrrr!

It released an extreme thunderous roar as it fought against the yellow-haired man.

While the whole village of Konoha was currently in chaos, the outskirt of it was still pretty okay.

Inside a humble wooden house near a forest, a woman was currently giving birth.

The woman had shoulder-length black hair and eyes. She was currently sitting on a bed while sweating heavily and her bulging stomach moving violently.

A black-haired man comforted the woman who was clearly in pain, his gaze constantly shifting between her and outside the window next to him.

The man was anxious that the nine-tailed fox might rampage around their location sooner or later but he tried to appear calm to not worry his wife.

"Everything is gonna be alright, Kaguya," The man prayed as he held her wife's hand tighter.

The woman called Kaguya, looked at her dearest husband and nodded sligthly.

"I believe in you, Akagi," She said while grunting deeply.

Kaguya then moaned and screamed out heavily, trying to give birth to their son with all her strength.

After a few minutes or so, Kaguya finally managed to give birth to a healthy child.

The wet nurse held the newlborn child who had small black hair with his eyes currently closed.

Kaguya took the child from the wet nurse and carefully put her son to her embrace. Her gaze soften as a beautiful smile formed across her face.

"I will name you Hikari," Kaguya said gently although she was clearly tired.

Akagi looked at his own child and his eyes started to moistened.

"May Gaia's blessings be with you," He softly chanted and then hugged his wife and newborn son closely.

Their son then slowly opened his own eyes, revealing a sparkling and alluring golden pupil.

The strange thing was that the child eyes showed hints of clear intelligence.

The family then moved out from their house and quickly went toward safety.

They would only come back to Konoha once everything was okay.

....

Inside a large room that can be classified as a bedroom, a young-looking child with messy black hair and golden pupils was currently sitting cross-legged on his bed.

The child was cute and had a mature vibe around him. He was also Hikari, the son of Kaguya and Akagi, who was now three years old currently.

"Hmmm... It's already been three years since I unknowingly reincarnated to this world..." Hikari softly muttered.

To be honest, Hikari's soul was not from this world. He could still clearly remember his past life, although fragmented now.

The past life of Hikari was just an average high-schooler called as Bob on his past world.

He lived a very ordinary life with his mother and father as the only child with nothing special going on.

The only thing Hikari could remember during his last moment on his past world, was being a beta-tester of the first ever Virtual Reality Capsule and then smelled something being burnt at that time.

He could only guessed that he was toasted alive inside the capsule and it was definitely not pleasant at all.

"Damn those bastards," Hikari clicked his tongue with his face being black.

He then shook his head and pondered on what to do at present.

After gathering or hearing something from his parents, Hikari could only think that he was reincarnated into Naruto and he wasn't happy about it at all.

This world was basically filled with blood, war, and death. Kids were even forced to participate in war or kill people under the guise of mission.

And the only way to survive this dog-eat-dog environment was to become stronger-!

Hikari felt anxious at the future waiting for him. He definitely knew it was going to be extremely dangerous.

After thinking all of that, Hikari decided to continue his training for today.

He extended his palm forward, facing against the wall infront of him.

"Hnnngg!" Hikari grunted deeply as he furrowed his eyebrows.

Thin golden lines started to appear around his pale-white skin, forming into something that resembled the nervous system.

Golden particles started to rise from his body, pouring toward his palm before suddenly disappearing into ashes.

Huff....

Huff...

"Failed again.." Hikari wiped the sweats forming across his forehead.

The thin golden lines started to vanish and Hikari's upper body fell gently to the wooden floor as he stared into the ceiling.

The golden light from earlier was something that recently awakened.

At first Hikari thought it was Chakra—the universal energy that the native people here used—but it wasn't.

Not even close at all.

The golden light was different; appearing more holy, warmth and powerful.

In the end, Hikari named this unknown energy as 'Divine Power'.

Inspired from the godly powers of the heavenly gods.

Hikari didn't know much about Divine Power yet as he was still discovering about it slowly.

For now he was trying to control the Divine Power through constant practice.

An uncontrolled power was after all useless and a dead weight if not used properly.

Hikari was currently able to control a small amount of his Divine Power and after constant usages of it, he instinctively knew the storage capacity of his Divine Power increasing.

Hikari shifted his gaze toward the window; the sky was clear with the sun being bright. There were many trees outside as well as birds.

He went downstairs to eat lunch and after that decided to visit the forest.

...

Hikari traversed through the forest while wearing a simple black shirt and pants. He was holding a small wooven basket, containing sandwich.

"Oyyy, Visco! Come out now!" Hikari shouted loudly with a broad smile etched on his face.

He looked around the forest searching for the little dog's shadow but he couldn't see it.

"That's weird, he will usually charged toward me by now..." Hikari rubbed his chin while pondering.

Visco was a wild dog he met at the forest while he was playing with his dad on the forest when he was one years old.

Since then, Hikari started to be close with the dog and eventually named him as Visco.

Visco was his only friend and could be consider as another family on this world

As he was pondering deeply, Hikari suddenly heard a quiet whimper infront of him.

The thick and dense bush rustled faintly as Hikari walked toward the sound and what he saw there left him terrified.

A small dog with thick yellow fur covering his body, laid on the ground weakly. The grass around him was no longer green, instead it was dyed crimson from Visco's blood.

Hikari dropped the basket he was carrying to the ground and quickly went toward Visco.

"Visco! Visco!" Hikari lightly shook Visco's body with his pupils trembling sligthly.

"Who did this to you?" Hikari questioned angrily, his arms trembling.

His gaze then shifted toward Visco's stomach where three shuriken blade was located. Red blood was pouring out from it heavily.

Visco silently cried in pain toward Hikari, his dull eyes were filled with pain and was asking for help.

He shakily extended his paw toward Hikari and he in turn held it gently.

Hikari eyes started to reddened upon seeing Visco trying to smile with all his strength.

"Friend... don't be sad once I'm gone. I will always be with you." That was what Hikari heard after looking at Visco eyes.

Hikari then saw Visco's paw falling to the ground with a small smile still on his dog face.

He gritted his teeth as his golden eyes glimmered and became more deeper.

Hikari then saw a faint and soul-looking Visco standing next to him with his eyes.

It was his soul!

Hikari then suddenly thought of something and without wasting anymore time, he woke up his Divine Power.

"Divine Power!" Thin golden line started to spread across all over his body, the light becoming more deeper.

A dense amount of golden particles exploded out from his body, quickly enveloping Visco's body.

Hikari looked toward Visco's soul form and smiled a little.

"It's still not time for you to die!" He muttered and then saw Visco's soul form returning back to his body which had completely healed.

[ First Necromancy Achieved. ]

Hikari then heard an unknown voice inside his head that made him surprised.

He then looked toward Visco who slowly started to move and then stood up.

It yellow fur was gone; replaced with golden fur. Visco's eyes were also shining like stars and his vibe completely changed.

Hikari sighed in relief after somehow managing to resurrect Visco. A very wide smile appeared on his face.

He then pondered on what the mysterious voice had said earlier, "I have the power to control death? A Necromancer??"

Hikari couldn't help but be in disbelief. He after all have Divine Power! A power that was completely a polar opposite of a Necromancer.

And speaking of being a necromancer, he remembered selecting 'it' as his class when he was testing the Virtual Reality Capsule....

....

Not a system. Inspired from Grandson Of the holy emperor is a Necromancer
