New member of Lenxington Family

Ren and her family are currently having lunch together with her family and a new member of their family and that is the new sister of Ren.

Ren looked at her sister who's sitting right next to her. Her new sister's name was Avery and from now on she's also a Lenxington. Avery's hair was sky blue hair which is kinda similar to her mom's hair while her eyes are brown. Ren felt so happy that she finally have a sister however Avery's very quiet and never really talked that much.

"Hey uhm Avery?" Avery looked at Ren who is sitting by her side. Ren saw her eyes that looks very sad but Ren softly smiled at her "You should try the Blueberry and Cream cupcake mom made, It taste good" Ren doesn't really like sweets that much but mostly everyone loves sweets, especially those who are still kids like her.

Avery nodded as she made an "um" sound and took a blueberry and cream cupcake from the plate and eat it. It seems like Avery loves it so Ren smiled even more.

Looking at Ren and Avery, Penelope felt happy in her heart but she's also sad for Avery. At a very young age she already lost both of her parents and because of this she suddenly had a thought that what if Harris and her suddenly died? what will happen Ren? Penelope erased those thoughts from her mind.

Avery is actually the daughter of her close cousin and they were on their way to the Northern Territory from Southern Territory when suddenly they we're attacked by bandits, Luckily Avery was left at their estate so she was alive.

Zura continent actually have four parts Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Territory where the capital is located. It will take days or weeks just to travel from one territory to another but each territory was protected by one magical knight squad and there are a total of five squads, Ren's father is the one responsible in Northern Territory.

Penelope decided to adopt Avery because none among their family wanted to take Avery, even in Avery's father side. Penelope's cousin or Avery's mother is like a sister for Penelope so she decided to raise her as her own daughter.

It was already night and Ren's pretty sure that her parent's already sleeping. Ren smirked after she finished changing into her clothes that she's using when training and it's all black just like the last time. She brought her sword and the remaining silver coins left from last time.

"Hmm 20 silver coins...Yup i think it's already enough" Ren said after counting her remaining silver coins then she picked up the black brooch that she bought last time.

Ren pinned the black brooch on the polo she's wearing, she placed it on the right side. Ren didn't feel anything magical whatsoever but she looked in the mirror and see her hair that used to be silver bluish turned into black.

Ren smoothly escaped the estate once again without being caught and after almost two hours of running she finally reached the capital that's still kind of busy at night but a lot calmer compared during the day.

After walking for a while and passing by numbers of streetlights, she finally reached the small building with armors displayed on the other side of a clear glass. The building was just a block away from the adventurer's guild.

As Ren entered the shop the clerk of the shop was sitting near the counter gave her a smile "Hey young man! Looking for something?"

Ren nodded "I'm looking for something I could wear, Probably something light but still could protect me".

The clerk nodded while stroking his beard as if he understood the assignment "I see i see, wait here young man" Ren nodded and waited.

After about ten minutes of waiting the clerk came back bringing some stuffs with him "Here young man!"

The man gave Ren a black adventurer's robe "Well this robe have 20% magic resistance. It's silk is made from the web of a poisonous spider but the web is not poisonous so rest assured, Well we also have a brown one but looking at your outfit it seems like black suits you more" The clerk nodded at his own statement.

The clerk handed Ren a black chest protector and black gloves both made from a material similar to leather "This one is made from a huge black snake monster skin. The skin of this monster's almost as hard and strong as a metal. It's not as strong as metal but hey! It's light just like you wanted"

Ren smiled while nodding "I'll take them all, how much does this all cost?" The clerk counted how much does it all cost together and said "Well it's 18 silvers overall but I'll give you a discount since it's your first time shopping here, I'll give it to you in 16 silver coins" The man gave him a thumbs up.

Ren smiled and nodded gratefully "Thank you sir" she said bowing. Ren paid the clerk 16 coins but as she was about to go out, she came back "Do you have any mask that could cover my face up?"

The clerk said with a smile "Ofcourse haha! in fact it also helps prevents the wearer from inhaling poison!" Ren bought the black mask that the clerk gave her and she also bought a bag that could fit all of the things she bought. The bag that she bought isn't that big but it has a space magic casted into it which made it lighter and made the bag a little bit more wider inside, It was a bit expensive though so she doesn't have any silver coins left.

On the way back to the estate, she smoothly entered the house without being caught. When she was about to reach her room, she saw Ain who was just about enter her room. Ain's room is just beside Ren's just incase Ren needed immediate assistance in the middle of the night.

Ain was about to enter her room, it was dark and she saw a figure on her right side so she turned head to look, she saw someone about five steps away from her position. Ren haven't removed her brooch yet so Ain probably didn't notice that it was her.

When Ren saw Ain's shocked face as if she was about to scream, she immediately dashed towards Ain, fast and smoothly without making any sound. Ren with her left hand, covered Ain's mouth while her right hand supported her waist. Ren slowly lean closer to Ain's ear and whispered "Ain, It's me"

Well it's actually my first time writing a planned chapter, I usually write chapters on the spot without any plan at all ;-;...I don't know if it was better than the past chapters but i hope you liked it.
