Day of the party

Time really flies and it was already the day of the Birthday Celebration Party. Ren already wore the suit that she bought with her mother and she combed back her hair to make it look clean and proper.

It was the first time that Ren will attend a party or banquet since she arrived in this world. She just hoped that the 'real Ren' doesn't have any past acquaintance who'll approach her.

Ren sighed and went out to go to where the carriage is located. When she arrived, she saw her mother who is linking arms with her father. Ren's mother is wearing the royal blue dress that they brought together while her father was also wearing a suit that's similar to herself, a black suit with blue lining but there's difference in the design. Her father's hair is also combed back like usual so if you look at the father and daughter, it looks like Ren is the mini version of Harris.

"Ren" her father called. "Greetings to father and mother" Ren bowed slightly. "Oh my~" Her mother chuckled.

"Are you nervous?" Ren's father asked while looking at her then she shook her head while smiling lightly "No, father". Her father nodded "That's good then, let's go".

Looking at the carriage that they'll ride, It was bigger and more luxurious than the last one she rode with her mother. It's white and there's silver and gold design on it 'I wonder if it's real gold and silver?' Ren thought to herself. There's also their family crest on the top of the carriage. The Lenxington family's crest was a nine tailed fox looking at the right while sitting and there's also flames floating on both sides.

The family crests in this world can be based from magical beasts, magical creatures or even mythical beasts and the Lenxington family's crest was from a mythical beast who is also belived to have a powerful magic.

Inside the carriage, Ren watched her parents still linking arms together and looking sweet. Looking at her parents, Ren felt something different that she couldn't explain so she decided to drink tea and try to ignore them.

"Ren, would you be willing to be a sister?" hearing those words coming out from her mother, Ren almost spits her tea then choked. Her worried father was slightly panicked looking at the coughing Ren so he gave her water and handkerchief.

Ren accepted the water and drinked it, after calming down she looked at her parents "What do you mean mother?". Ren tried to think of various things and asked herself in her mind 'Is Ren's mother pregnant? Or they're planning to have a new child?"

"Hmm...Well you see Ren, Your father and i are planning to adopt someone and we wanted to hear your opinion about it..." Ren thought for a moment then looked at her parents while smiling.

"Well ofcourse i don't mind and is it a little sister or a little brother?" Ren blinked twice looking at them.

Her parents was shocked at first but they smiled thinking that their daughter is too kind "Well it's a little sister who is a year younger than you" Ren made an 'Ohh' sound while listening to her mother's words.

"I see, I can't wait to meet her then" Ren smiled softly. Back then in her past life she really wanted a sibling that she can be with, protect and take good care of but sadly she didn't have one and it's too dangerous if she adopted one.

Her mother nodded while smiling and nuzzled her husband who is sitting right next to her. Looking at their daughter's attitude, her father couldn't help but feel happy and proud in his heart for having such daughter.

When they arrived at their destination, Ren's father was the first one to go out to help her beautiful wife to go down the carriage then Ren got down of the carriage by herself, she really didn't like being escorted especially when she could do things by herself.

A butler approached the three of them and greeted with a bow "Good day to the Marquess Lenxington, to the Madam and the young master. The banquet is this way, please follow me". The three of yhem nodded to the the butler and followed him.

Looking at the Beckham estate, it was also big and luxurious like the Lenxington estate. When they arrived at venue, lots of nobles were talking to each other, some of them are laughing with each other while some are gossiping or drinking tea.

"Ren!" Ren turned her head to look around and saw Leo who is wearing a maroon suit, his outfit suit him very much. Beside Leo was Selena who looks cute while wearing a lavender dress that suits her bright lilac hair, her green eyes that looks irritated was looking at Leo and Ren...Well despite being like this Ren already got used to Selena's attitude.

"Greetings to Leo and Selena" Ren said while smiling softly at the two of them. "Greetings also to you Ren" Selena said as she nodded.

"Well i want you to meet someone...Hey where is she!" Leo said as he looked to his side then to the other side a little panicked.

"Hm?" Ren blinked twice "Well- I actually want you to meet my little sister, she's very small" Leo said while showing the height of her little sister, it is indeed small.

While Leo was talking to Ren suddenly..."BAH!" Leo was startled when a little girl suddenly appeared behind his back. "Are you shocked brother?" The girl smiled cheekily looking at Leo.

"You!..." Leo tickled the little girl as the little girl laugh then she bit Leo's hand "Ouch! you cheeky brat" Leo squished the little girl's cheek, the girl just giggled.

Leo remembered that he was talking to Ren and Selena so she turned around and clear his throat "Ahem...Well Ren this is my little sister, Her name Angela Kris Mei Beckham...Well her name is long for some reason so we just call her Angel..." Leo sighed thinking about his father who almost give him a longer name like Angel.

The girl blinked twice looking at Ren "Hi brother Leo's friend! it was nice to meet you" Ren smiled and nodded "It was nice to meet you too Angel, I am the daughter of Marquess Lenxington and my name is Ren Lenxington"

Listening to Ren, Angel made an 'ohh' sound "I see! Then can i call you sister Ren?" Angel asked while slightly tilting her head to the side, it looks really cute and adorable so Ren chuckled softly "Ofcourse, feel free to call me sister Ren" Angel smiled brightly "Yay!" . 'What an adorable child' Ren thought to herself.

Ren lookes at Selena who is silent the whole time "Selena, how's your body the next morning after the training?"

Selena looked at Ren then shuddered as she remembered the pain she felt "Well...It was painful but thanks to the ointment you gave me i felt a lot better..." Selena was slightly embarrassed then looked to the side, trying to look mighty "W-well i am not really that weak after all so i can handle it but...Thank you again for the ointment i guess...Hmp!"

Ren just smiled while looking at her and chuckled softly "Well you're welcome~ ahaha". Selena pouted and glared at Ren "What are you laughing at??" Ren shook her head and kept on chuckling.

Selena lightly hit Ren as she kept on laughing. Looking at the interaction of the two, Leo couldn't help but laugh. "Leo" a voice called Leo from the back.

Leo, Ren, Selena and Angel looked towards the location of the voice "Ohhh! Guyss you've come!" Leo was smiling brightly and enthusiastically.

"Ofcourse Ofcourse, you've invited us hehe" The boy who had a dandelion colored hair and brown eyes said replying to Leo. The other boy who is slightly taller wearing glasses nodded.

"Oh yeah right right! Let me introduce you guys to Ren and Selena". Leo looked at Ren and Selena who is now behaved.

"Selena and Ren, these two are my friends they are..." The boy with dandelion hair made a pose while smiling "Hoho my name iz Kazen Gregory but ya can call me Zen! Zuzun!" the boy made another weird pose pointing at the slightly taller boy who is wearing glasses.

"Ohoho" The boy with glasses also made a pose, his hair was ultramarine blue and his eyes were sky blue. "Selle's name is Aiselle Asterious but Selle preferred if you'll call him Selle! Zezin!" It seems like Selle was the type of person who speaks in third person. Selle and Zen made another weird pose pointing at each other.

Ren and Selena were dumbfounded looking at the two. Selena looked at Ren as if talking to her in her mind 'Should we do poses like them too??' Ren looked back at Selena, as if understanding her look she also said as if talking to her in mind 'I don't know, should we try?'

Leo facepalmed looking at Selle and Zen "Oh uh...Sorry about these guys they're kind of weird most of the times but they're all kind" Leo smiled a bit helplessly.

"It's alright they seems to be fun people" Ren said smiling. Leo nodded while smiling, Zen and Selle also nodded in sync with their eyes closed.

"Oh by the way my name is Ren Lenxington" Ren said while smiling. Selena pinched the skirt of her dress and bowed "I am Selena Stellar, Leo's fiance" when she said 'fiance', her face turned slightly pink. Selle and Zen looked at each other while grinning as if understanding something.

"Oh right! Now that you guys are here do you want to see my pets?" Leo said with bright sparkling eyes.

"Pets?" Ren blinked twice looking at Leo. Angel picked up a thing similar to a sunglasses and wore it while looking at her brother who's shining so bright.

"Well you see~ I have 3 cute little turtles~" Leo was smiling dumbly and cute, Ren haven't seen him like this before so she's curious. "Ohh let's go and see them then" Leo nodded and went to the garden with all of them.

In the middle of their garden was a small pond and near the pond was a turtle similar to the turtles in Ren's past life but it was pink, there's also a red and a light green one. Ren was amazed to see turtles different from her past life.

"They're cute right??" All of them nodded at Leo's question and kept on looking at the turtles. While they are all looking at the turtles, Ren suddenly heard something from her ear.

She heard something like a melody, she looked at Selena who is right next to her and asked "Can you hear that?" Selena raised a brow "Hear what?" Ren was slightly shock at Selena's answer "You know, that sound?..." Selena looked at Ren as if she's looking at a person who lost her mind. Ren shook her head and sighed "Nevermind".

Ren got really curious and wanted to know where the sound that seems like a melody coming from "Leo can i look around your garden?" Leo nodded at Ren's question "Okay but be careful not to get lost".

Ren nodded while smiling "I won't" Ren turned around to run trying to find the source of the sound.
