2 Chapter 2

"I see. This world is on the brink of destruction, huh?"

I nod at Luvia's words and say.

"That's right. Sooner or later, they will die from all the Grimm as they continue spawning worldwide."

"What are they thinking?" Hermione says with confusion in her tone, "Why are they not using the resources they have other than this so-called 'Dust'? They know it cannot let them cross the stars, but they never think of a new way to do it."

I smile at her and say.

"Because Dust is a double-edged sword for them. It is more efficient than any oil or gas we have back on Earth and does not cause any pollution. It is a perfect energy that you can get from the planet. They already test other energy sources and give up when they see it is not as efficient."

"I see."

Marwa nods her head and continues.

"Stagnation. The people in this world are too dependent on this dust and have never thought of another solution. They give up easily."

"That and also greed. The people who control Dust did not want other energy production methods to be discovered. They will not fund any research in this field and will sabotage it if someone dares to fund this kind of research."

I know this because of my knowledge of my new body. Ten years ago, someone tried to research a new way to use Solar Energy, but before it could go anywhere, the funding got cut off, and the one funding this research got arrested for something that was not posted in public.

When you hold the entire world's energy resource, you have a lot of power in the government.

"So, what is our mission here, dear?"

I look at Luvia and say.

"At the moment? We need to stamp as many people on the list as possible. You guys know how stamps work, right?"

I can see them nod and continue.

"I want to stamp as many targets as possible. I will not sell them and only let the company clone them for the others to buy."

"I can do that for you, my lord. I can summon one of my shadows to do the job for you."

I look at Marwa, summon the stamp, and give it to her. She nods and puts away the stamp.

"Our next mission is to capture as many Grimm as possible. The scroll you have will have the app from the company that will show you what kind of Grimm we can capture. Sadly, it is a lot of work as we need to capture ten thousand Tier 4 Grimms, one thousand Tier 5 Grimm, one hundred Tier 6 and ten Tier 7 Grimm."

The three of them nod their head before Hermione says.

"Do we need to complete all of them? Also, do we need only to stamp them, or do we need to fight them and capture them manually?"

"The first one. The company is kind enough to enchant the stamp to let it teleport the Grimm to a special facility each time we stamp the Grimm."

I look at Marwa and say.

"I am sorry to give you more work, but this will need your expertise."

"Don't worry about it, my lord. I am more than happy to follow your order."

"Thank you."

I look out the window and say.

"Ah, we are here. Let's get inside the academy first before I awaken your aura."

They nod their heads and look out the window as well. I can see a massive building in the distance that looks like a castle out of a fantasy book but with a touch of Sci-fi with the airship and robot roaming around the area.

I can see the main cast from here as we leave the airship. The nearest one is Jaune Arc, the one faking his entry to the academy. He is a Tier 5 character because of his potential. He will be a solid tank and support for any team with enough training and push.

"Is he one of the capture targets, my lord?"

I nod at Marwa's question. I blink a little when another Hassan appears behind Jaune and stamps his neck without him noticing. Presence concealment, huh? Is the reason why I can see her because I have a connection to her? I wonder.

"The deed is done. He is captured."

"Good work, Marwa."

After saying that, the four of us walk to the castle in front of us, and while walking, my eyes look at the people around us. I can see Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Nora, and Ren near us.

"Should I capture them, my lord?"

"If you find a chance, do it. However, make sure not to gather unwanted attention."

"Understood."

I sigh a little when I see one of her shadows move with a breakneck speed around, stamping all the targets within a second. As expected of a servant with Rank-A speed. I let her do her job as we walked to the Amphitheater of the academy.

As we arrived there, we listened to the headmaster give his speech.

==//==

I let out a groan as I sat on my bed. The headmaster truly loves his voice, doesn't he? Three hours. That is how long he speaks. Never in my life had I encountered someone who could speak for three hours non-stop or even have that amount of things to speak about.

"Will we sleep here? Urgh."

I chuckle a little when I hear Luvia groan at the place we will sleep.

"Don't worry. You can sleep in the manor. There is no rule about sleeping outside, as the rule only specifies that you cannot leave this room through that door."

I snap my finger and create a portal that appears next to us. This academy is a portal point where we can summon the portal that connects to my pocket dimension.

"Oh, dear~ Thank you~"

"Think nothing of it."

I can see the others look at me with jealousy as they thought it was my Semblance instead of magic.

"Let's get inside. We need to talk."

The four of us walk through the portal and see a massive island in the middle of the void. In the middle of the island is our mansion. I look to the side and see my companion look around in shock.

"This is… A lot of mana."

"A lot? It was an understatement, Hermione. This place is brimming with mana! It asks if the core of the planet is next to us! However, this place nourishes us with its mana and makes us stronger instead of crushing us. It is slow, but it is increasing."

Ah, as expected of a Magus. She knows her stuff.

"Right! Let's get inside the mansion."

We walked to the mansion, and I could see that the company truly furnished it. We sat on the couch, and I said.

"Before I awaken your aura, what do you guys know about aura?"

Hermione raises her hand and says.

"Aura is the manifestation of the soul. It can be used as a weapon, but its primary function is to protect one's body from harm. The company gives us the basic knowledge of this world. However, they did not give us any explanation other than that."

I nod.

"That is about it. However, as your aura gets stronger and you get more experience, your aura will awaken what people call Semblance. It is a power that is unique to you. An intense or near-death experience can awaken Aura. However, one way to awaken your Aura is by injecting a foreign aura into yours."

I smile at them and say.

"Let's awaken your aura."

|3rd POV|

"Are you sure you want to allow that, sir?"

"Hmmm? He is right, Glynda. There is no rule forbidding someone from using their semblance to sleep in their home."

Glynda, a beautiful woman with blonde hair and green, nods her head and leaves the office to do her duty. She leaves Ozpin alone, looking at the monitor that shows the room where Nero and his group leave.

He did not know why, but his instinct was screaming at him that Nero and his group needed to be watched. Not because they are dangerous but rather because he feels they are valuable in the shadow war he has been fighting for who knows how long.

"Will you be the torch that lit up in the darkness of night, or will you be the shadow that covers the world in darkness? We shall see."
