11 Villains pt 3

We walked down the forest, looking for earth rabbits; Chun seems to know his stuff; he put his ears on the ground, trying to hear the rabbits, hiding inside of the channel of tunnels they dug underground.

He instructed me to strongly knock the ground with a stick, creating a wave of force, to get the rabbits moving, furthermore assessing the tunnel's depth in the process.

'Hmm, the wilds life has sure sharpened this boy skills.'

We moved for quite some time, repeating the same routine, till we reached a place where the rabbits are most active.

"The entrance of the tunnel should be nearby," Chun said.

We searched for the entrance, to finally find it hidden by some bushes, «In the cultivation world, rabbits can think too?» I was impressed by the rabbit's tactics of avoiding danger. First, they created a smart underground web, strategically covering the entrances.

<Yes, host, generally speaking, the intelligence provided for mortal animals without qi cores, is bigger than the average animals back at earth>

The cunning villain finally spared a cautious glance at me; shrewdness filled his abyssal eyes, he posed, before signaling me to stand still while he leads the rabbits out of their respective tunnels.

'Eh!? That deep, menacing glee I noticed just now can't be ordinary; this brat made me do the harder job while he probs my techniques! Hitting two birds with one stone. Hmph!, he's a million years late from playing with this grandmaster.'

I paused before holding a rock from the ground, 'Ugh! I feel ashamed of using a stone as a weapon in such a cultivation world, but I know I should not expose my sword arts, at least not around this brat.'

Nodding my head, I got into position, sharply looking at any movement at the little cave entrance.

After the long-anticipated wait, two rabbits leisurely jumped past the tunnel.

I instantly detected the target with my enhanced sight and progressed to threw two successive rocks at the targets, quickly dropping them before they even knew how they got killed.

'Hehe! Hunting is lenient even for a measly stage -1 -qi condensation cultivator; I'm looking forward to the next stages.'

Proudly stepping down from the place I was hiding in, Chun instinctively beat me first into grabbing the preys. Looking like Gollum seeing precious in the process.

(A/N: Gollum is a hobbit character in lord of the rings, precious is the name he calls the ring he's obsessed with)

Jun didn't get upset seeing the villain acting on his survival instincts; he knew that the lad had a rough childhood.

Ehem, well, Da Chun's character is built like me; we both have something to protect and must accomplish, him as the villain of the story, Ruthlessly needs to take revenge on all the human race, while me, the pathetic mob, will use any mean to complete the primordial god requests, just to not end up with the same fate as the damned author.

'Hehe! Someone madly forced into seeking power, and someone desperately wants power, such an irony!'

Scoffing off my thoughts, I touched his shoulder and happily smiled; he sneered but still, hatefully uttered, "You did great," As we walked back to the camp.

The homeless kids, holding into two dead rabbits, finally reached their destination; the hunting journey took four hours to complete. Little Xia was soundly sleeping in the demonic bed when she heard four-footsteps coming her way.

She recognized them as her brother and the new youth; rubbing her eyes to wake up, she glanced at the arriving figures and surveyed their hands.

"Brother! You caught two rabbits this time!" she said while trying to get up; the years of hunger and malnourishment made her ribs and spinal bones visible to the eye, even know the pair of kids didn't eat for at least two days.

However, the first one to speak was the boastful jin; "Of course we going to catch something," he cheerfully grinned and reached his head to pat the little girl's head.

A horrific killing intent surged from the girl's body; her expression was uglier than a hideous devil; if the villain paid attention to jun simple, friendly action, he would immediately slap his hand; after all, the little girl has severe Haphephobia, developed by the years of torture she suffered from,

Yet her condition was also very particular because most of the haphephobia bearers have an extreme fear for someone's touch; it is to the point of creating a mental breakdown.

However, that's not the case for little Xia; she didn't feel fear, but only overwhelming disgust and loathing, even towards her own brother.

Still, the hand already reached its destination;

Jin lightly caressed the girl's head; the action itself wasn't exactly a pat; it looked like a quick hand brush over the girl's dusty hair.

'Did her head hurts somewhere?'

He noticed the killing intent directed toward him, but mistook as the girl's natural pain reception reaction.

Conditionally, The vulnerable girl couldn't lift a hand because of the weak physique she possesses. Nevertheless, she sat there, helplessly watching the warm boy's palm brush through her head.

While Chun skinning the rabbits with a little sharpened rock on his pocket, Jin amusedly retracted his hand from Xia's head, and told the busy villain that he would lit up a fire.

It was an easy task for a cultivator like him, especially with his technique.

A while after, the fire already let up, and the rabbits are skillfully skinned; jun pierced wood sticks on their bodies and picked them up on the top of the fire he previously lit up.

He didn't eat since he ran from his family; drool was dripping all over the ground while roasting the rabbits.

Hard lengthy minutes passed, Jun and even Chun, several times, almost jumped on the uncooked food.

After Jun felt like the rabbits are cooked, he handed a whole rabbit for the sickly girl, and he split the other one with the villain.

Chun didn't voice any dissent; even if he was at the brink of death, he would always prioritize his little sister.

He carefully observed their visages, marveling at how delicate they grabbed the sticks; the villain still remembers the antiques of eating that have been engraved inside of him since he's still a mere infant;

Surprisingly, I'm the one that seems vulgar.

Jin, looked at the two kids peacefully eating and sighted; memories of his little sister surged like a tide, filling his heart with nostalgic emotions.

'Right now, these kids are still considered normal, without any cultivation; it's hard for me to see this heavenly talented pair falling into the road of corruption, but well, we both are evil if you looked closer to it.'

After shutting the lousy gap in my stomach and getting back my focus, the sickening smell of the kids hit my noise; filth and dirt-covered their bodies and chafed clothes,«Eh! How did I not notice this horrible smell before? I can't imagine sleeping in here; even dog poop smells better than this pair.»

Moreover, my body is sweety too from traveling and the hunting activities, I should take a shower, or I will start vomiting in my sleep.

I casually called Chun,"Oye, Chun, is there a river at this place?"

He turned his skull, frowning for some reason, and said, "Don't call me like you know me; we only companions," the ink-black eyes always gave him that hatful look of the "fiend", just like me with the lofty stare.

'Ugh! the notorious author did it again, sight*.'

he added,"there's a river up front,"

As soon as Chun finished speaking, delight rushed jun's face; he quickly said,"Good! Then we should have a bath,"

Confusedly the villain replied with a blank, "Why?"

"Because we smell like dogs,"

Chun finally had a look at his filthy self, scowling at how much miserable he looked like; after a while of thinking about what I've said, he eventually nodded his head, signaling his approval.

The girl saw us getting ready to leave the camp and asked, "Where are we going?"

The brother answered, "Jun said we should wash our bodies, so we are going to the river,"

She hesitantly grimaced and said, "But, I-i can't walk,"

He helplessly shook his head, while the train wrecker, "Me," couldn't read the mood, especially with these mentally problematic kids; I said, "Don't worry, I can lift you, I'm pretty healthy and well trained,"

After my words reached Chun's ears, he was wordlessly stunned; he knew well about his sister problems, stuttering words, he deliberately managed to complete a sentence, "Y-you can't,"

I was startled, and before I can reply to the weird protective kid, the girl interrupted, "It's ok brother, let him lift me,"

He rapidly swiveled his head to face her figure; with red eyes, he uttered, "But!"

replying to his shocked self, she said with an icy sinister voice, "It's ok,"

Was it helplessness, or was it contempt toward her powerless self, or a whole another reason that let his sister overtook her phobia, Chun couldn't tell; he only muttered an 'I understand", and proceeded to lead the way?
