27. Too Close?

"Mr. Hein…"

"Excuse me." Zach walked out of the hall and took out his phone, calling those technicians who were in charge of the website. They were tasked to watch over the website almost 24 hours a day, of course with shift.

The was a man's voice who came through the phone. "The other party retreated before we can catch him. He downloaded some of that files."

Zach's eyes deepened. "Find out the survivors of those cases."

"On it."

"Is it my main account?" Zach asked.

"Yes, Mr. Hein."

Zach then hung up the phone. After so much time, there was finally someone who dared to play tricks before his eyes once more. However, that person had to be in this Imperial Compel City or it would be impossible for them to even log in because of the location problem.

While it was not a foolproof, it could indeed reduce the possibility of someone else borrowing his account.

All VPN services were unable to be used in this specific website because they blocked all unknown IP address. Thus, only some specific places would be able to even access the website.

This restaurant was one of them.

After all, it belonged to Heri Hall and he worked in this restaurant from time to time.

'How brave.'

Zach turned his head around to the side and coincidentally, Ann just walked out of the restroom. She raised her head and arched her eyebrows when she saw Zach stood in front of her. Even though she had just breached his account, there was not even any traces of nervousness in her face.

Zach was silently watching the young girl in front of him. She was wearing the school uniform and stood in leisure pace. Her action made her look like she was strolling on a street rather than coming in an expensive restaurant. At the same time, she looked so calm and composed in front of him.

This calmness of her was what attracted Zach to her the most.

Her clear jade colored eyes seemed to be reflecting her inner thought without any restriction. It was as if there was nothing that was within her mind.

It was strange, yet he wanted to know more.

"Mr. Hein," Ann called out softly. Her voice was calm and unhurried, but at the same time it sounded distant. It was as if she was nothing more than a passerby who was staying at the wrong place and wrong time.

Zach looked at Ann deeply. "Miss Ann, do you enjoy the banquet?"

"It's good." Ann nodded. She was quite surprised by the way Zach addressed her. She was sure that she had introduced herself as Davis Family's adopted daughter not long ago. And with his capability, searching for her background was as easy as lifting a finger.

There was nothing that she could exactly hide in front of him.

However, the way he addressed her sounded as if she was nothing more than Ann without the so called relationship with Davis Family.

It was quite appalling.

Zach nodded his head. "That's good to hear. It's already late, how long do you plan to stay here?"

Ann arched her eyebrows. Why did Zach sounded like he was concerned about her? Did he find out that it was her who borrowed his account? But she had already erased all traces and there was nothing that could be traced back to her.

Within that short 10 seconds, it was impossible for them to trace her back even if they were to employ the manpower in time.

After all, she had cut the connection right after the alarm rang.

"I'll go back with Reynard, Mr. Hein."

"You don't have to be so polite with me." Zach stepped forward, his voice was low and seductive, attracting those who were hearing him very well.

Seeing him walking closer, Ann felt somewhat flustered. She didn't know what this man wanted from her.

Also, didn't the media said that Zach hated it when stranger got close to him? How come he seemed to be fine when he was within one meter's distance with her.

Zach stopped when he saw the girl looked conflicted. Somehow, he found her expression very amusing. "What is it, Miss Ann."

"It's… too close…." Ann muttered in low voice and stepped one step to the back.
