2 Falling For My Life

"...."

After realizing what the current situation I was in, I...

I went absolutely nuts on the inside....

This is ABSOLUTELY the best day of my life!!!

At this moment, my eyes lit up brightly as my body began to tremble out of excitement.

Since I'm currently the main protagonist, I can finally change the fate of this wimpy pathetic hero and turn this shitty story into my whole liking.

"Did you actually hear what I said? Hero Saber, I want to annul our engagement and leave the party to join Hero Maximus on his journey."

I turned my attention back to her and gave her a look of disappointment, cupping my cheeks with my hand as I gently caressed the sore part of where this bitch slapped me.

Aria Ravenscroft. The yellow-haired girl who cheated on the protagonist even though they're both engaged, or soon to be husband and wife, with the other hero named Maximus who was a prince of another kingdom.

Not like I'm gonna stop you from leaving, bitch. You can just become a slave of that asshole hero prince like what you've become after joining his party. I'm more interested on the exciting things that I'll be doing than dealing with a whore who suck on other guy's cuck even though you already have a fiance in secret.

As I was thinking deeply about the things that I will new adding in my bucket list, the girl beside the whore, yellow, the orange girl wearing a nun outfit with big bust finally speak up.

"I-I-I know that this is all sudden, but all of us would also like to disband our party and join the other heroes..." She fidgeted her fingers as she couldn't properly look at my direction out of guilt.

....and I couldn't believe my ears, or not. I've already expected this.

I've been transmigrated at the same exact chapter where all of his teammates abandoned this pitiful hero.

The chapter of where the plot twist started, chapter 20 (The beginning of the fall).

Disband the party? Join the other heroes? It was like a plot twist I never saw coming in this story when I was still reading the novel. However, now that I think about it, the NTR tag already tell it all.

Looking at the orange-haired woman in front of me, I called out for her name, "Seraphina..."

My mind raced as I tried to process the implications of what I could word out a sentence.

And just then, a plan began to escalate my mind...

"Wait, what do you mean disband the party? You guys are not going to leave me too, aren't you?" I stammered, my excitement secretly bubbling beneath the surface as I played along.

Seraphina took a deep breath, her eyes finally meeting mine. "We've been discussing it for a while," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "We don't think our current party dynamics are working well, and we believe joining forces with the other heroes might give us a better chance at defeating the impending darkness."

I showed an expression of a mixture of disappointment and sadness, though a mischievous glint danced in my eyes. This unexpected, or not actually, turn of events could be just what I needed to shake things up in this world.

"Are you saying that all of you want to abandon our quest...? I thought we all made a promise together to remain as a party until we fully defeat those monsters that have been coming out off the portals." I asked, struggling to keep my tone steady while secretly relishing the unfolding drama.

The girl shook her head quickly, her expression pained. "N-No, it's not that. We just think there's a better way to achieve our goals. We still believe in the cause."

Suppressing a smirk, I sighed dramatically, as if conceding to their decision. I really need an oscar award for my act. "I-I-I-I... Alright," I finally said, my voice tinged with resignation. "If this is what everyone truly believes is best... Then I won't stand in your way."

I wiped the fake tears from the side of my eyes and gritted my teeth to prevent myself from laughing.

-Look at that poor guy... He's crying.

-He deserve it for being weak. He's not even training to get strong. Instead, he waste his time on doing some unnecessary stuff like helping an old lady to get her cat off a tree.

-Still... Doesn't he look pitiful? Out of the heroes that exists, Hero Saber is the most kindest there is.

-Stuff like kindness is unnecessary if the world is on the verge of falling apart due to the almost neverending waves.

I could hear the nobles from all around whispered as they shared the same sympathy towards Hero Saber, or the body I'm currently possessing.

Biting my lower lips, I raised my head and looked at Seraphina with eyes that was full of determination. "But know this – I'm not giving up on changing the course of this story, even if it means going my own path."

The girl's eyes softened, a hint of gratitude in her gaze. "Thank you for understanding."

I took a brief glance at Saber's other former party members and smiled at them softly as some looked at me in disgust while others averted their eyes.

Look at those bitches... Except for Seraphina for choosing the first hero who was a good person, it won't be long for few of them to break for choosing the wrong team to join.

As we parted ways, I couldn't help but feel a secret thrill. The plot was taking an expected delicious turn, and I was ready to weave my own narrative threads into the tapestry of this world.

With a calculated smile, I embraced the uncertainty of the road ahead, knowing that my true intentions were safely hidden behind a façade of reluctant acceptance.

"...." I was about to turn around to leave when I heard Saber's childhood friend, the indigo-haired girl name Sylvia, to speak up.

"Saber, I'm sorry for not fulfilling our promise to remain in the same team..." She says regrettably, "It's just... We can't really remain playing around while the whole world is in danger. If I remained with you--" Before she could even finish what she was about to say, the third bastard, Prince Maximus Avalonshire, cut her short by patting her shoulder.

"There's no need to explain everything to a weakling. I'm sure that he probably understand why all of you are leaving him." He showed me a toothy grin, which is honestly too annoying to the point that I took a glass full of wine from the table and threw it towards his face.... Oh shit, I think I might have gone a bit overboard.

The glass shattered dramatically against the prince's face, wine splattering everywhere. His expression shifted from smugness to shock, the room momentarily freezing in disbelief. I blinked in surprise at my own audacity, both exhilarated and horrified by my impulsive action.

Sylvia gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, while the first hero, Prince Julius Von Arland tries to suppress himself from laughing as I noticed a mixture of surprise and amusement from the glint of his eyes. For the others including the noble guests at the party, their eyes widened by surprise. Even some of the other seven heroes from another country looked taken aback, their expressions torn between shock and suppressed laughter similar to the first hero.

Prince Maximus stood there, wine dripping down his face, his toothy grin now twisted into an incredulous scowl. He wiped the wine away, his eyes burning with a mix of anger and humiliation. "You dare—" he began, his voice a dangerous growl.

In that moment of chaos, I took the opportunity to make my comedic escape. "Oops! My bad!" I exclaimed with faux innocence, my heart pounding with both amusement and nervousness.

"Sylvia, you can't just make assumptions just because of someone's outward kindness. You should heed my warning. That bastard that you are joining is not a good person as he seem to be!" After I said this, I quickly turned on my heels and dashed towards the nearest window, pushing it open with all my might. "Thanks for everything, everyone! Gotta go!" I called out with a gentle smile before leaping out into the night.

"Saber, just outside that window is a--"

I wasn't able to hear what exactly Seraphina's warning, but I still continued.

The cool night air rushed past me as I was falling from a huge height, laughter bubbling up inside me has finally been released. I couldn't believe the ridiculous turn of events, but it was exhilarating to be part of the story, even if it meant dealing with unforeseen twists and eccentric characters.

"Now, then.... What should I do next?" I thought to myself, cupping my cheeks while I rested the back of my head with my other hand.

I closed my eyes and thought about the events that'll be happening in the future, giggling to myself like a mischievous sprite, eager to explore what other surprises this world had to offer.

"I wonder when will those girls fully break?" I pondered. Well, not that I'm going to bother myself with them. Saber may have relation with his ex-party members, but not me.

"Anyway, I've been falling for quite some time now... I should have reached the ground 2 minutes by now."

When I finally opened my eyes, my expression froze after I saw the ocean at the bottom. There's only one thing I could think of as an answer.

I escaped at the wrong window.

With no choice left to do, I did what I have to do.

I screamed on top of my lungs like a little child, who lost his toys before getting disciplined by his parents.

"Aaaaaah!!!!"
