I actually enjoyed this story at first. However as the story went along. I started to notice how displeased i was with the main character.. this is still better than xianxuan novels. Mc not murdering raping and stealing his way to overlord postion. There are funny scenes. However as the story goes further along. There less and less funny scenes. And more and more disgusting behavior. It creeps in however so you wont notice at first. But as the chapter get higher in numbers. It happens more often.

it started innocently BUT, the author is constantly forcing his ***ist, racist, xenophobic, close-minded, hypocritical, immature, utilitarian & borderline-rapist ideologies. little by little in an escalating fashion, it's almost like he is trying to desensitize the readers into considering such things as normal. . I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out and says that this is an ultra-nationalist (misguided), ultra-left-wing, ultra (typically Chinese (communist-gov.) fashion = borderline human rights violating) propaganda book. . in his defense, he could be an extremely good-hearted person, who is trying to make a happy honest living by selling books & living a life that's the complete opposite of M.C., and the only reason he is writing like this because of his readers who want these kinds of content pushed him into this nesh of perverse self-fulfillment. & he simply could not write in different fashion without losing a majority of his audience & a majority of his income along with it. ☺, but if that's not the case, he is no different from the "perverse, ***ist, misogynistic" author of "great demon king." the bastard tries to give F*CKED UP life advice every chance he has. . P.S. his hate for Japanese "politicians" can "somewhat" be rationalized to an extent. based on history & how they still refuse to acknowledge that & constantly play the victim. [most Japanese people don't even know what the Nanjing massacre is, because as propaganda they completely buried the facts and erased all related data from textbooks ]. . but all that backfires on the author due to the bullshit reasons he gives for hating the Koreans, who the fu*k reasons like that!!!!! ??????

It’s well translated and quite interesting. Originally I quite liked the idea, but about 200 chapters through because I couldn’t stand the main character anymore. He is really dumb sometimes, particularly when he is trying to get justice. He keeps burning his bridges, but he always brags about himself and his achievements. Also, he sucks at using money and other resources wisely. And the worst part? He sexually harasses women, even though there are kids around and he’s gotten beat up for it multiple times already. Hell, he beat someone else up for it! All in all, the story could be great but the main character honestly just pisses me off.

This novel is one of the best light novel I've read. It's funny (knowing a bit of Chinese culture will be even better), thought provoking (poems, maths etc), mysterious abilities and surprises and what's more, it's relatable to our modern times! No boring moments for me.. at a few times, it even put tears in my eyes!

This book was literally top 1 or 2 vice versa I live this book which is why I am always reading but even so I cant stand the bluntly nationalism and racism. It utter tras**. This book brainwashed people into hatred and racism.It seems to me like very country hated China for no absolute reasons ? The author even went as far as to say Americans disregarded Chinese for the mathematics ? I mean seriously ? Everyone in the US mostly know Chinese are maths genius. The whole book makes no dan*** sense !!!!! It's like the author is looking for conflict when there isn't even a need to !!! I can understand the possible hate against Japan and Korea but France ? Australia ? Poland ? What kind of nonsense is that ? The amount of Chinese in Westerns countries are beyond 20 millions and see how they treat them ? I would like the authors to tell me how many westerners they have and how they treat them ? Chinese are so racist against black people in China from the videos I don't see the author mentioning amy of that but simply praising their own country. The author is stealing other famous work from China , Japan and US among others but then you are insulting them again with it ? I dont mind cause it's technically face smacking Zhang Ye but still the way it was delivered is full of racism. I don't see the author talking about their own concentration camps ?? China recently released a movie where they change history and supposedly won a battle int the Korean War where they sided with North Korea to invade South Korea. And that movie is the highest grossing movie with 5 billion yuans Not surprising this sort of propaganda is spreading. And like keep saying this book is great. Then plot had so much potential but too much nationalism and racism ruined it.

This story is a quite well-written exhortation to racism and ultra-nationalism. The premise... Having access to a worlds greatest knowledge and wisdom in a world that doesn’t have any of that... But... The MC doesn’t benefit from the wisdom and just uses his gifts to extol racist and bigotry. This is easily the story with the most blatant political agenda on any LN site. Not only that but the MC is, by far, one of the most unpleasant characters in any of the LNs on here. Don’t believe me? EVERY foreigner is described in a stereotypical, intolerant, xenophobic and racist manner. After reading nearly 600 chapters, (after a chapter where the MC spends 2 chapters saying “why should I forgive you Japan” (The MC is super-insular - and is described earlier in the story as never having left Beijing until he flew to Shanghai!) I just can’t stomach the bitterness and vitriol in this story any more. And also... if anyone thinks this review is too biased... if you like “system” novels... the MC barely uses his in this story - it’s almost irrelevant. You might ignore this review and read ahead regardless but at least I feel better warning others!

I love the idea behind the novel. Contrary to a lot of comments I've read I don't have a problem with his plagiarism. These works don't exist in that world so even though it's plagiarism the fact that he uses them could be considered an hommage. I only gave 4/5 for story development because it always follows the same pattern. I only gave 4/5 for World Background because foreigners are almost always bad guys. My bigest issue with this novel are the characters. The only character I love is Chenchen. Let's not talk about the one dimensional bad guys - we're used to them but the main character... Let me tell you he's a piece of work. I mostly don't like him. I kind of like his humoristic side that comes out once in a while but I hate his perverted side and how he treats women. It's not a problem solely found in this novel it is in a lot of chinese novels but when the story is as good as this one is it really makes me sad. I had to skip a lot of chapters just so I wouldn't drop that novel. Now let's talk about those women... Really good. Really, really good. I picked it up less then a week ago and I have already caught up to the latest release, like anything I wish there were more releases because I am a binge reader and hate waiting! But apart from that it is awesome!

I’m just warning everyone that might be trying to get into this book. Don’t. The author has dropped this book in 2017. So there aren’t any ending chapters. But Webnovel is just stealing content then making us pay for it so like they will tell us. If you don’t believe me, just google it.

At first, this novel starts great, i like this so much, but as the story progress more it just become... Uncomfortable to read, because the racist jokes and the MC is really really perverted,and the story became repetitive. At first i was like.."This is a... bit racist(?), i'm gonna bear with it, maybe it'll change". But it just became more and more horrible, the MC is basically a jerk. I'm dissapointed. But, the translator really did good job 👍👍 i'll give 5/5 stars Sorry for my grammar, i'm not that good at english :)
