Chapter 59: A Stake In The Heart Usually Does The Trick

Elizabeth's POV: I saw Jade and Josh walk down the stairs. As soon as she stepped a foot onto the ground at the bottom of the stairs, Josh pulled out a stake and shoved it in her heart. My breath dropped immediately. Charles ran over and pulled the stake from her back, completely ignoring Josh and he said, "No no no! Jade wake up! You have to wake up! Come on. Elizabeth do something!" I turned to Josh and said, "We'll deal with you later." He laughed and replied, "Sure you will. I'm leaving." "Not so fast!" I quickly put up a barrier spell around the house so he was now trapped and confused. I smiled as Josh looked at me scared and asked, "What is this!" "It's a barrier spell. I'm part witch. That means you're stuck in here until tomorrow night unless I break it." He started panicking. I continued, "I've brought Jade back to life once, I can easily do it again, and when I do...I'll let her decide what she wants to do with you!" I walked over to Jade and tried thinking of what I could do. Maybe it won't be that easy. I'm only part witch, I only have access to small amounts of power, it'll take a lot longer than right now to get her back.

Charles' POV: I held Jade in my arms and waited until Elizabeth would bring her back. After about ten minutes of watching Elizabeth pace around the room and Josh panicking I noticed Jade's hand move a little bit. I thought I was just seeing things until the blue and purpled veins started disappearing from her entire body. She started breathing again! Jade's eyes opened as she had an angry expression on her face! I smiled and hugged her tightly for a moment. She quickly said, "Hold the hellos for a second!"

Jade's POV: I stood up, releasing myself from Charles's grasp, and I walked over to Josh. He stood against the wall as I said, "So, you get to treat me like garbage for two and a half years of my life and then try to kill me? Not cool dude!" He didn't even bother saying anything. I closed my eyes for a few seconds. What I'm about to do calls for no feeling whatsoever. I turned my humanity off, pulled my fangs out, and whispered in Josh's ear, "Now it's my turn to torture and kill you just like you did to me!" I pulled my foot up and said, "You won't be able to chase me with a broken leg!" I slammed my foot on his knee as he screamed in pain. Everyone else in the house came rushing down to see what was going on. I ignored them and continued. "You can't touch me anymore with a broken hand." I snapped every one of his fingers. "No hitting me with a broken arm!" I took his opposite arm and looked into his eyes as I bent it backwards until it snapped. "Can't kiss me without a tongue!" I forced open his mouth and ripped out his tongue. Then when I released my grip from his neck he was screaming in pain and fell to the floor. I walked away and into the kitchen where I grabbed a long knife. I ran at vampire speed back in front of Josh and pulled him up to me. Then I whispered, "This is going to be to much fun!" I very slowly and carefully slid the knife across his throat as everyone watched. Then, right before he was about to die I bit into my wrist and shoved it into his mouth, forcing him to drink my blood to heal him. After that I smiled widely and said, "You're free to go!" I took down the barrier spell while I was in the kitchen. He started running out the door so I turned around to everyone and said, "I'm giving him a five second head start! Times up!" Without another word I started chasing him at vampire speed. Everyone from the house followed, I could hear them. We were in the middle of the woods and I slammed him against a tree. I said to Josh, "Sorry, I think we need to break up!" I bit into neck and fed on him until the tipping point of death and then I snapped him neck. I turned around to everyone, who had a shocked look on their faces, with Josh's blood dripping down my mouth. I said to them, "Don't worry. I'm a heretic, I can't turn people!" Then I shut my eyes once more and turned my humanity back on. I walked over to Charles and said, "At least I'm not the one who's dead!" I smiled innocently and ran back too the house to take a shower. Once I got there I heard everyone else come through the door. Nobody ever questions the things I do, I just do them. I walked into the shower and after washing all the blood off my face I was joined by Charles. He smirked and said, "I just wanted to tell you something." "What?" I said facing the water. Charles moves my hair to one side and grabbed my waist from behind. He kissed my back, my shoulders, and then my neck for a while until he said, "You looked incredibly sexy today!" I bit my lip and smiled without saying anything. Charles turned us both around until his back was facing the water and my back was against his stomach. He turned me around and kissed me before sitting down on the built in shower seat. I climbed on top of him and kissed him again. Water falling on both of us. Charles thrusted inside of me and kissed my neck at the same time. I let out a small moan here and there. After awhile I reached my apex along with Charles. We both stood up and smiled. I said to him, "I love you Charles." He replied, "I love you even more." I giggled and kissed him once more before turning the water off and wrapping a towel around my body. I dried my hair off and put on my underwear and bra. Charles, still naked, laid in bed next to me and said, "I have something to do tomorrow okay?" I hid my smile and said, "Do what you need to do!" I knew exactly what he was going to do! I'm so not going to stop it!
