Chapter 37: I Guess This Is Goodbye
Jade's POV: The plan is in motion. I heard Elizabeth, Audrey, Daniel, and finally, Nathan. They all spread out across the room and Nathan stood out, easily for us to attack him. Charles stood near Elizabeth because she'd be the most difficult. Ariana appeared quickly out of thin air and grabbed Nathan's arms from behind. Then Charles shoved something into Elizabeth's mouth that made her pass out. Audrey and Daniel just stood ideally by while our plan set. I walked in and smiled at Nathan's confused expression. He asked, "What the hell do you think you can do to me!" I laughed and said, "I'm going to kill you Nathan. Consider it...my revenge!" Without another word I started the paralysis spell and he would've fell to the ground if Ariana weren't holding him up. I walked up to him and said, "I hope you rot in hell Nathaniel Suliman!" Without hesitation I jammed my hand into him chest and yanked it back out...with Nathan's heart in it! I looked it to his eyes as I killed him and I loved every second of it! I enjoyed watching his eyes as I literally held his life in my hands, and then I got to watch his face as I ripped it away from him! I held Nathans heart in my hand and I said, "Got to love revenge. Right guys!" I turned to Charles who was unfazed, same with Ariana. Daniel was holding onto Audrey as she cried. Elizabeth just woke up and I turned to face her. Tears started forming in her eyes as she said, "What did you do Jade?" I laughed and said, "I did what I wanted, what needed to be done...I got my vengeance!" Anger appeared over her face and she said, "I should rip your annoying little throat out you bitch!" I laughed and said, "I'd love to see you try!" Without a single word I cloaked myself and ran into the kitchen, there I grabbed a few blood bags and ran downstairs into the basement. Then I reopened Nora Lee's coffin. I finished the spell I started, she started breathing and moving a little bit. I handed her the blood bags and whispered, "Go upstairs. It's me, I'm cloaked so you can't see me. Your family awaits you!" I followed a now awake Nora Lee up the stairs. I uncloaked myself as soon as we got up there, I stepped in front of her so the Sulimans couldn't see her yet, I looked at Elizabeth and said, "I love a good family reunion..." Then I stepped to the side as Nora Lee stepped out and in her British accent she said, "Hello Elizabeth, Audrey, Ariana, Daniel, Charles. How have you all been? I've been amazing just in case you were wondering!" Everyone's face went a ghost white and I laughed. I walked over to Charles and said, "Don't be mad at me sweetheart. I figured, you said you wanted all of your family members to live in peace, so I'm granting you all that!" Then I held up the sword Nathan used to put his siblings to sleep with and I walked into the kitchen and put it into a bowl. Then I melted it and threw it in the garbage. I smiled and said, "Well, I'm going home, you all seem to have some catching up to do so I'll leave you to it! Oh, Charles, if you want to stop by later feel free. I'll be up for awhile!" Then I walked out the door. Free as a bird!
3 HOURS LATER
It was like midnight right now. Talia went to bed nearly an hour ago. I haven't been able to fall asleep because I have a weird feeling that Elizabeth is going to show up and burn my house to the ground or something and try to kill me and Talia. I was gladly mistaken however because I heard a small, quiet knock on the window. I looked out and saw that Charles was sitting on my windowsill. I opened it up and said, "Don't you know how to use a door?" We laughed and Charles said, "Well, I caught up with Nora Lee and Ariana and I figured that I wanted to spend the rest of the night with you. What you did tonight, it was very sexy!" I smiled and said, "What was? Watching me tear the life away from your brother, or loving every second of it?" "You're like a little demon spawn!" Charles joked. I was tired of all of this joking around so I replied, "Then it's a good thing I like playing with the devil!" After I said that I started unbuttoning my shirt and Charles got the hint to what I meant when I said I like to play with the devil...he's the devil!
THE NEXT MORNING
Charles' POV: I woke up next to the love of my life! Sexy, beautiful, kind, warm-hearted, brave, confident, smart, and everything in between. Jade is perfectly imperfect in every way. The way she drools a little when she's sleeping, or the way she's so insecure when she eats in front of people, or even the way she acts around me; innocent. I look at her face right now and it's almost as if she didn't just rip out my brothers heart last night! I believe grief sex is the most effective in this case. I crept out of bed without making a sound and I went downstairs. I figured, Jade had a stressful day yesterday, she deserved something special. Her sister Talia left around 5 in the morning today to catch a flight down to her dads house. Jade was going to go but then all of this happened and she decided to stay here. I started making some pancakes, and I prepared some mimosas, a mixture of orange juice and champagne, with them. I set the table and in just perfect timing Jade walked downstairs wearing only my t-shirt and her underwear with a messy bun on top of her head. I asked her to come sit down with me, Jade blushed and asked, "Did you make all of this for me?" I grinned hugely and answered, "Maybe. Why don't you come try the pancakes and if they're good then yes I did, if they're bad then no they're store bought!" We laughed and ate for a moment before getting ready for the day. Once we did that Jade and I got in my car and we drove to my house. Once we arrived we grabbed some more food and went up to my bedroom and decided to lay there and watch tv the rest of the day. Everything was perfect until Jade got a text from Talia saying she's moving to California with their dad!
