80 Chapter 80: The Sweet Taste of Victory.

Turles allowed the Frieza's elite soldiers to fly after their boss in their spaceship. Surprisingly, they managed to escape before the planet exploded. How convenient for them. It would be a simple matter to exterminate them with a ki blast while he was a Super Saiyan 4. But there was a reason why he didn't simply eradicate Frieza. While Cooler was a reasonable replacement, Frieza had something that Cooler couldn't replicate, no matter how hard he tried. He had an undying ambition. Frieza refused to give up until he was the last man standing at the very top of the totem pole. He even dared to dream of replacing the Omni-King or, at the very least, killing him.

If he was honest with himself, Turles was unsure if Cooler had half of Frieza's ambition. While he was far more clever than Frieza, that meant nothing if that cleverness wasn't used to surpass or dominate Frieza. Frieza was a guarantee, while Cooler was a maybe. And it didn't hurt to have secondary options available…

Overall, Turles didn't obliterate Frieza because he had high expectations for him. As much of a potential danger and hazard as he was to everything he's built and created, Turles decided to give him one final chance. But if he was being honest, it was simply his Saiyan blood refusing to kill him. Frieza has yet to master his golden form or reach his black form.

While Turles was training his children and soldiers to the best of his ability, it was getting harder and harder to resist the demands of his DNA. He wanted to fight. He wanted to fight to the point where he felt challenged and unsure whether he would live or die. But that went directly against Turles's cautious and methodical nature. He's spent all of this time carefully growing and covering all avenues even after he's reached the top. It was too much of an utter waste for Turles to throw it all away for a good fight, no matter how soothing it would be for his soul. It actually made Turles want to vomit at the thought of efficiency being sacrificed for the sake of emotions.

With a shake of his head, he vanished from the planetary remains of Planet Prime before returning with a scouter in hand. He attached the scouter to the left side of his face and informed those under him of their current objectives if they didn't already know them. Then he turned to face the brightly shining star far in the distance. Turles shielded his eyes with ki as he flew right next to the fiery ball.

The energy radiating from the star was almost hot enough to cause his fur to combust into flames. Turles briefly entered his modified Hyperbolic Time Chamber before exiting in front of the sun. He reformed the barrier on his exit with two seeds in his hand. With a toss, he sent one of the seeds toward the celestial object.

In an instant, the Seed of Might ignited into flames and turned to nothingness despite being something made for deities. Turles clicked his tongue despite expecting such an outcome, which is why he had a second Seed of Might in his palm. Although, this Seed of Might was different from the first one, even if it didn't look any different.

Unlike the first one, which was a natural seed from the Fruit of Might, this one was a modified Seed of Might. Turles had his most trusted scientists directly work on modifying an original Seed of Might: Rasin and Lakasei, the revived members of the extinct ultra-intelligent Beenz race. The original Seed of Might can only survive on planets with suitable atmospheres similar to that of Earth or Namek. But Turles thought, why limit himself to only Earth-like planets? Weren't there other celestial bodies in the universe that would produce even greater-quality fruits?!

So, he had Rasin and Lakasei secretly modify the original Seed of Might into something a little more suitable for Turles's future goals. It took some time, but eventually, they succeeded. Turles tossed the second Seed of Might toward the magnificent star and laughed as it didn't immediately burn into ash. The seed dropped toward the sun's core.

Turles carefully watched while continuing to laugh. It didn't take long for the modified Seed of Might to show whether it was a failure or a success. In an instant after reaching the star's core, numerous thick branches began to expand from the seed, sticking out of the body of the sun. Turles closed his eyes as he began to meditate as his one and only true lover gorged herself on something she'd never tried before. He didn't know how long this process would be, but he had more than enough time to wait for his sweet, ravenous woman.

In the aftermath of the invasion of Planet Prime, very few people were aware of what took place on the test capital planet. There were no survivors of those living on Planet Prime. The soldiers, civilians, and tourists were all exterminated without a trace. It was only because of those who chose to settle down on Planet Prime and were off-planet at the time that any news of it spread at all. Due to those people asking questions, the PTO decided to release an official statement regarding the disappearance of Planet Prime.

A clear video was attached to this notice showing several meteors crashing into Planet Prime from the POV of a drone. The sound of someone clicking their tongue was heard. "But that isn't what happened at all!" Kress pointed out. "According to the records, yes, it is," Basil informed him. "I don't get why we need to lie to people." Stella was on Kress's side. "Because the other planets under our control would get scared if they knew that Frieza was going around blowing up planets under Daddy's rule," Bon explained.

"Oooh!" Kress exclaimed. "I still don't get it." He slumped back in his chair.

"I think it's like because Daddy is the one in charge, he can't be seen losing to Frieza!" Stella explained.

"How is losing a dumb planet losing? There's like a gajillion planets." Kress asked.

"We can't lose, Kress. Not our family." Basil explained it in simple terms for his younger brother.

"Not even a little bit?" Kress could understand not losing, but even an itty-bitty planet can't be lost!?

"There are sometimes when it is acceptable to lose, but for the most part, no. We cannot be seen losing unless it helps us win at a later date." Basil answered.

"Well, I'm not a loser in the first place, so I guess it doesn't matter." Kress shrugged.

Before Stella could speak about a moment when Kress lost against her, someone barged into the room. "There are my favorite nieces and nephews… I need your help with a little project of mine." Naba smiled as she entered the room.

"Great! What are we blowing up this time?!" Kress excitedly jumped out of his chair and bounced around Naba.

"Your Daddy just sent me a very irritating video, and now I gotta work my butt off to get him to shut up. You cute little monkeys are going to help me prove it works." Naba explained.

Bon, Stella, and Kress giggled as they followed behind their auntie. It wasn't often that they got to put their daddy in his place. Even when they teamed up together in training to fight him, they like never got the upper hand. While this wasn't fighting-related, they still didn't mind winning one over him in another way. Basil silently followed from behind with a shake of his head.

He really appreciated Auntie Naba for being one of the few people in their lives who did not treat their Father like an omnipotent god.
