5 Chapter 5: The Beginning of the Ultimate Saiyan!

Turles arrived on the snowing planet at one of the landing pads. Identical attack balls were lined up next to his as he stepped out into the cold, freezing air. Members of the Frieza Force made their way toward a building. Turles followed them since he had no idea of where to go, who to tell that he's completed his mission, or what to do. Once he made it inside a building, he went up to some guy barking orders.

"A saiyan…"

"I didn't think there was another one that survived."

"Hmph, what a lucky monkey."

"I've conquered some desert planet I was sent to. Who do I report this to?" Turles asked the soldier.

"You report it to General Zarbon or one of his men. Lucky for you, saiyan, I am one of General Zarbon's most trusted soldiers. I'll report your success after I send some men to check if it's true. You are free to do as you please until ordered to go out on a mission." He talked down to him.

"Yes, sir," Turles responded before asking another question. "Where do I find the room for training or saibamen to train with?"

"Head to the training room and request a session with an operator. Now get out of my face, kid. I'm busy." The gecko-like soldier shooed him off.

Turles stood on one of the moving floors and made his way through the facility. These moving floors were like escalators, but inside of going up and down, they went up and down the hall. Moving walkways were one-way Turles could describe them. There were two of them going up and down the hallway, allowing soldiers to travel in both directions without walking on their own feet. However, there was a portion of the hallway, not a part of the walkways. Soldiers could walk on the side of the walkways if they didn't want to take it. For now, Turles just looked around on the thing until he saw something that screamed training room.

His power level was pretty pathetic compared to most of the other soldiers in the base. Turles was sure he was still in triple digits when thinking about power levels. That could shoot up to the thousands if he used Oozaru. Still, it was nothing of substance when compared to the majority of soldiers and higher-ranking members of the Frieza Force.

Eventually, Turles found both the training room and the room with the medical machines. He memorized his way to that room since he was going to be visiting it every single day while he could. As Turles made his way to an available training room, he couldn't help the grin from growing on his face. This was the start of his rise as the ultimate Saiyan. Forget the Prince of all Saiyans. Forget the Saiyan born on Earth. Forget the Legendary Super Saiyan. Forget the hybrid Saiyan that doesn't even like fighting. Turles was going to be the strongest Saiyan of this universe. Only the complete eradication of his soul would stop him.

Turles stared at the giggling saibamen staring at him inside the training room. They were about equal in height. One eagerly looked at its new playmate in joy, while the other had a solemn look on his face. He took a deep breath as he already knew the outcome of this battle. This was just the start.

The saibaman rushed forward at a speed that was impossible to react to. Turles could sense the movements of the alien but reacting to it with his puny power level? Ha! Impossible. Turles was kicked in the face and sent flying into the wall.

His arm shook severely as he aimed his palm at the saibaman. Blood ran down his head as he felt most of the bones in his body were fractured from the impact of slamming into the wall.

"Gye gye?" The saibamen was in disbelief that he was so weak.

If Turles could laugh right now, he would. Concentrating all of his energy into one point, Turles fired a ki blast at the confused saibaman. His head hung down low as he looked at the result of his attack. The saibamen crouched on all fours as the ki blast went flying overhead and exploded against the wall.

"Kiyah!" The saibamen leaped at him.

Turles was helpless to resist the overeager alien from beating him to death. Kicked, punched, punted, and scratched. He could transform, but the situation wasn't dire enough yet. There was still the operator. The training room had operators watching every second of what happened inside the training room.

Just as Turles expected, the door to the training room opened, and the saibamen was blasted away by the operator's blaster. She dragged Turles out of the training room and shut the saibaman inside before it could chase after them. "You stupid monkey brat. You were already lucky enough to survive the meteor exterminating most of your race. Why continue to risk your life?" She muttered as she carried him to the medical room. Turles was grateful that he didn't have to drag himself there in this state. Everything hurt badly, but he could only look forward to the power boost after healing from this.

Turles made it to the medical room. He was stripped of his clothes and hooked up inside the healing tank naked. He weakly waved at the leaving female operator as he got some much-needed rest. The female operator was a female of Burter's race. A tall reptilian humanoid with blue skin. Although his life was probably never in danger since he could've gone into his Great Ape form with his normal body, it was still a pain in the ass to be beaten so easily without being able to resist in the slightest. It looked like he was right. Fighting those monsters on that planet would've been pointless. If there's a big enough difference in power, all the skill in the world couldn't help you. For now, at least.

The healing process felt peaceful and so relaxing. It was an impossible battle for Turles to keep himself awake. He gently lost and fell asleep inside the healing tank. The last thing on his mind was wondering just how strong he would get from this beating.

When he felt the need to open his eyes, all of the liquid inside the tank was drained. Turles shook the breathing apparatus off of his nose and mouth along with the wires connected to him as he stepped out of the healing tank. Turles gave a faint smile as he clenched his fists, feeling the power swelling with him.

"How long was I inside?" He asked one of the medics.

"Around forty to fifty minutes." He responded.

"Really?" Turles's high-pitched voice asked, sounding surprised.

"Yes. Now take your clothes and get out of here." He told him.

"I'll be a regular here, so if you can, keep one healing tank open for me. See you soon." Turles put on the new armor laid out for him and rushed out of the medical room.

He flew back toward the training room, surprised that he could abuse his saiyan biology so often. He thought it would at least take an entire day to heal, but it didn't even take more than five percent of the day. Turles hoped he didn't drain their healing juice dry because he was going to do this every day for the next twenty or thirty years. Well, almost every day until he was called out for deployment on a mission by Lord Frieza.

"I'm back!" Turles told the female operator as he rushed past her and into the training room.

"Wha?!" She spun from the monkey's speed as she plopped down on her chair and looked at the cameras watching the inside of the training room with dazed eyes.

Turles flew at the saibamen idly resting. It screeched in surprise as it was sent rolling across the floor. "Gei Gyie?!" It exclaimed! "That's right. Come on." Turles waggled his finger. "It's time for round two."

The saibaman righted itself and dashed toward Turles. Turles was still no match for it in speed, but at least this time, he could react to its movements! Giving into his innermost desires, Turles clashed fists with the saibaman briefly before being overpowered. But before being knocked away, he landed a blow on the saibaman's side, causing it to scream at him angrily.

Turles saw as the head of the saibaman split open, and liquid shot out of its head, flying toward him. Rapidly flying to the roof of the training room, Turles avoided the burning acid and flew at the saibaman below him. He brought his boot down on top of the alien's head. It was smashed into the ground, and Turles didn't let this brief advantage go to waste.

"You had fun knocking me around before, didn't you?!" Turles repeatedly stomped on the downed creature.

"Gah!" It gripped his foot when it came down for the fourth time.

Turles scowled as he tried to fire a ki blast at the bald green head of the saibaman, but he wasn't quick enough. The saibaman leaped up from the ground, headbutting Turles. Turles clutched his broken nose in pain as the saibaman began knocking him around. He was punched in the gut, kicked in the back, and knocked to the floor from a hit to the head.

Now that he was on the ground, the saibaman began kicking him while he was down with its still higher power level. Turles could feel the fractures of his bones from the hits even as he tried to use his ki to protect himself. He couldn't help but laugh at this quick turnaround. Seems like his boost in power wasn't as high as he thought. Turles raised his arm to block the fifth kick of the lab-made alien while an orb of energy gathered in his left hand. He clutched his hand around the saibaman's foot to prevent it from running away as he channeled his energy.

"Kyah!" The saibaman struggled to pull its leg away, but if Turles didn't hurry, it wouldn't be long before it did.

"Calamity Blaster!" A thick purple energy wave fired from his palm toward the immobilized alien.

It raised its arm in an attempt to block the attack. Turles released his grip on the creature's leg and watched in agonizing pain as it flew into the wall of the training room, screaming. A small grin appeared on his face. This wasn't the type of win he expected after receiving a boost to his power. He knew that the power-up after near death was inconsistent, but he was still pretty impressed.

"Gyah!" The saibaman punted Turles into the wall with its arms blown away.

Blue blood dripped from its arms. Turles stared at it in amazement while buried in the wall. A battle that didn't end in the death of a Saiyan, was still a victory… "Fine, you tenacious bastard. I lost this time as well. Operator! Get me to the healing tank!" Turles called out.

"Gegege…" The saibaman weakly laughed as the door to the training room opened.

As Turles was carried out, the Saibaman dropped to the floor as its energy began to drop. "Crazy insane suicidal monkey. Will you be happy when you're dead?!" The female operator didn't have a problem carrying him. He was still just a child.

"How am I supposed to get stronger if I don't train, lady?" Turles chatted as they went on the moving walkways.

"There's a limit, monkey! Normal soldiers don't fight until they're on the verge of dying."

"I'm not a normal soldier, I'm a Saiyan." Turles chuckled. "As long as my heart hasn't stopped, drop me in the healing tanks, and I'll be better than I was before."

"Maniac…" She muttered before dropping him off in the medical room.

"I'm back, guys." Turles greeted as he was thrown to the ground by the female operator. "Ough…"

The medics looked at him in shock. They didn't understand how he could get so injured so quickly in such a short amount of time. Although they had questions in their head, they didn't ask them. They just put the monkey inside the healing tank and started chatting about their thoughts on how he got injured.
