Chapter 46: You’re Not Safe

"Oh." She totally forgot about it and now the thought of leaving Arnold made her sad. She felt she wasn't able to live without him, she has grown to love this stranger and now she'd just leave him??.

"What are you thinking about?." He noticed she was lost in her thoughts.

"N..nothing really I just..I mean, I.."

"Are you okay?." He asked.

"Yes i..I'd just go sleep now." She went into the tent and Arnold just stared at her blurredly.

Soon later he entered into the tent and caught her with her bra off as she struggled with the buckle.

"Oh My God!." She covered her chest with her top as she stared at him.

"I..didn't mean to, I mean I didn't know you were.."

"I.it's fine, just turn around." She asked politely and he did as if was told.

"You can turn around now ." She was wore her top and laid on the mat.

Arnold turned and went to the other side of the mat and laid. This was the most awkward moment cause there were in the middle of the woods and everywhere seemed quiet, to make it worse Arnold's eyes didn't leave her body.

She felt her skin burn from so much stare and she didn't know what to say to stop him from staring.

"Why are you looking at me like that?." Sue averted her gaze.

"Don't you want me to look at you?." He grinned.

"I..just don't feel uncomfortable with the way you look at me."

"I won't look at you then." He turned his face away from her and looked up to the ceiling.

"Can I ask you something?." She asked.

"Ask."

"What makes you like a girl?." Her heart raced fast when he turned his head to look at her, then he turned back.

"I really don't know."

Jenna fell silent for a moment. "Why do you ask?."

"I planned on getting a girlfriend for you before I leave." Her eyes became teary but she tried hard not to make him notice.

"Are you being serious?." He looked at her blankly.

"Yes, you need to live a happy life, trust me you deserve better."

Arnold couldn't help but hear the sadness in her voice.

"I told you I don't love, I don't think I ever would."

"Can you at least give it a try, you're a good human you shouldn't see bad in yourself."

"Okay, I'll give you two weeks, just two weeks to make me fall in love with you and if it doesn't work we would never talk about it again." He said calmly .

"Okay" she replied with a nod.

"I'll be back." Arnold left the tent to pick up a call.

"Where are you?." A voice from the phone asked.

"I'm with Jenna and we are camping."

"He came, he came searching for her." Brett said and Arnold didn't know why but his heart began to race.

"What do you mean?." Arnold moved away from the tent to the bush so Jenna wouldn't hear what they talked about.

"He comes every now and then to stare at her window, you need to do something you know what he can do when he's angry." Brett warned.

"Seems I'd have to kill him for the second time." He clenched his fists.

"I don't want to believe you've started falling for her Arnold."

"I'm confused as well Brett, it was always my lustful desire but I don't know why I don't see her that way." He said confused.

"You need to think Arnold, time is against us and I'm getting tired of all these." He hung up leaving Arnold lost in his thoughts.

He turned around to see Jenna standing behind him. "You, what are you doing here?." He asked hoping she didn't hear anything.

"You took so long so I came to see if you are okay."

"I was just coming inside." He looked away from her.

"What's wrong?, you haven't been in a good mood since we got here." She went closer to him.

"Nothing is wrong Jenna, you should go to sleep." Before he could move away she wrapped her arms around him.

"Are you..crying??." He hugged her and rubbed her back.

"I..just don't like seeing you this way." She looked up at him with teary eyes.

"Nothing is wrong I'm fine no need to worry." He said patting her head.

"I want you to tell me what's been on your mind, are you in some kinda trouble?."

"I..no I'm not, let's go inside."

"No, tell me." She stared down at his lips as she slowly leaned in to kiss him.

"I don't want to do this with you Jenna otherwise something might go wrong." His voice was soft as ever.

"Why?, thought you love kissing me." She said with her eyes not leaving his.

"Never said I don't but i wouldn't be able to hold myself once my lips touched yours."

"How do you expect me to be away from you when I've falling in love with you Arnold." Her heart began to race.

"I don't want to leave you and I'm ready for anything." She cupped his face as he stared at her blankly.

"You're not safe here Jenna, you'll need to leave this city till I'm able to solve the issues here." He looked into her eyes to see the fear in them.

"I'm not safe?? You've been saying that but I don't understand, what's going on??." She asked

"I'll explain things to you later but now we've got to leave."

"Where?." She asked.

"Somewhere far away, pack your things we'd leave tomorrow we can't stay in this city for another day." He lifted her chin with his forefinger.

"You wanted this right?." He leaned in and kissed her making her feel breathless but then he started vibrating.

"A-are you okay?." She asked looking at his body shake.

"It happens each time I'm with you Jenna, it's something I can't understand." His breath became steady as he kissed her again and carried her up. She got the signal and wrapped her legs around his waist as he took her inside.
