Chapter 26

" Hey, we are almost there! " Gon said as he pointed towards Whale island.

Killua, Satoru, and Alluka looked off the side of the ship as they looked at the approaching island.

After Gon's fight with Hisoka, they said goodbye to Wing and Zushi, leaving for Whale island the next day.

Alluka was excited as she had never been on a boat before.

" We will be off the boat soon. Imma teleport us to the port. " Satoru said.

" Okay. " Killua and Gon said.

" Yeah. " Alluka cheered.

Satoru grabbed Alluka, Killua, and Gon and teleported onto the port.

" Hey everyone!! I'm back!! " Gon yelled.

" I know that voice! "

" Gon's back everyone. "

" Did you pass the hunters exam? "

" Yep. I passed. " Gon said.

The people then cheered to celebrate Gon's achievement.

" By the way Gon, who are they? " One of the people asked as he pointed at Satoru, Killua, and Alluka.

" Those are my friends and teacher. Anyway, I have to go. Cant keep Aunt Mito waiting. " Gon said.

Leading the way, Gon leads Satoru, Killua, and Alluka to Mito's house that was located at the top of the hill.

Aunt Mito was outside as she was hanging out the clothes to dry.

" Aunt Mito. "

She turned around at the familiar voice and looked at her nephew.

" Gon. You came back. " She said as she went to hug him. Gon hugged her back.

" Did you pass the hunters exam? "

" Yep. "

" That's great. So who are they? " She asked as she looked at Satoru, Killua, and Alluka.

" The tall one with the blindfold is Satoru, Killua is the one who looks my age and Alluka is the cute one who's sitting on Satoru's shoulders. " Gon said.

" Hello. " Satoru, Killua, and Alluka said simultaneously.

" Hello. Just me asking but are you their father? " Mito asked as she looked at Satoru.

" By blood. No. I adopted them. " Satoru said.

" Yep. He's my dad. " Alluka said.

" We met him during the hunter's exam. But Alluka is my sister by blood. " Killua said.

" I see. Well, why don't you come in and tell me all about it? " Mito said.

" Okay. "

" Wait that really happened?! " Mito asked in between shaking breaths as she laughed too hard.

" Yep. " Satoru said while grinning.

" I still have the photos. "

" No more. My soul can't take any more of this." Gon said tiredly.

" Same. You just had to bring that up. " Killua said.

" Of course I did. It's funny. " Satoru said.

" I didn't expect some of that. " Mito said as she regained her control.

" Well since you are back, Gon place all your dirty clothes so I can wash them. That goes for you two as well. " Mito said as she looked at Killua and Alluka.

" Okay. " Gon said. He walked away from Aunt Mito and signaled Killua to follow him.

Killua grabbed Allukas's hand and followed Gon.

" After you do so, you can go and explore the forest. I'll come to pick you guys up when it's time for dinner." Satoru said.

" Okay. " Gon said.

" Bye Dad. " Alluka said as Killua carried her out of the house and followed Gon.

" They grow up so fast. " Satoru said as he wiped away an imaginary tear.

" You really do care for them like a father. " Mito said as she looked at Satoru.

" Hmm, what's that supposed to mean? " Satoru asked.

" Did Gon tell you why he became a hunter? " Mito asked.

" Yep. Is this about his Dad leaving him here? Why does that have to do with me? " Satoru asked.

" I just didn't think that Gon would have someone to look up to like a father. " Mito said to Satoru.

" I'm flattered, but I doubt Gon sees like that. As for Killua and Alluka, it actually just started as a joke between me and Killua. Never changed after that. Alluka soon joined in as well. Now it just feels wrong to see it any other way. " Satoru said.

" Yep. I wish Gon could have that. "

" You can and still can, but wishes don't always come true. He is strong, besides I'll help him when he needs it. " Satoru said trying to stop this conversation to go on.

" With that said though let's make a surprise for them with lots of food. " Satoru said happily.

" You know how to cook. "

" Of course I do. If not we would be eating take put every day. " Satoru said.

" Alright then. What should we make? "

"Let's just make whatever we want and we will eat that for dinner. Just needs to be healthy and delicious. " Satoru said.

" Alright. "

" Great. Let's get started. "
