An Angel’s Embrace

It had been two years since then, and Gyro's life had only taken a turn for the worse.

Gyro's father had been diving deeper into his alcoholism; he had been treating Gyro worse and worse.

He was beaten up for shuffling his feet or snoring.

In fact, once his father nearly choked him to death for tripping on the floor.

'It's about time to kill this cunt,' Gyro thought.

He had been getting ready for this since he was a year old; he would use his father's hammer to smash that bastard's head in, just like what happened in the show.

Even though I'd rather have a knife or something sharp so that my weak, malnourished body could easily do him in, a hammer strike to the head would do the job just fine.

Gyro had waited till midnight to make sure his father was asleep. He stealthily went down the bunk bed, trying not to wake up his father, and made his way to the workbench.

Picking it up with a grin on his face, Gyro was excited to see his father.

Readying his hammer, and taking a big swing (as big of a swing as his 2 and a half year old body could take).

Blood and brain matter covered the floor as his father's head was smashed in.

Finally, I can have a bit of peace.

Gyro glanced at the box beneath the bed. A hundred thousand Jenny.

'I need to get rid of the body,' Gyro thought.

He couldn't move or lift his father's body because he was too weak.

There are two options I can think of: either chopping him up into little pieces or dissolving him in an acid like hydrochloric acid.

'Eh, I can't be asked to do chemistry; I'll just cut him up.'

A child was seen carrying an opaque bag dripping with blood.

Luckily, it was midnight, so no one saw me. It took me three whole hours to cut him up and throw him away, since I had to make several trips.

I headed back home and started trying to unlock my nen once again.

It seems like I have pretty shitty Nen potential; the Devil must have messed around with it, since Gyro likely had decent potential.

It'll take me about 2-3 more years to unlock Nen, well it would probably take me close to a year and a half if I wasn't a toddler.

2 1/2 years later...

After five years, I finally unlocked Nen. I even learned Ten and Zetsu. Zetsu came to me easily, as I had spent most of my past lives hiding and escaping.

'Yeah, I'm leaving this shitty place, but I need to learn Ren first.'

Gyro tries to release a lot of his nen all at once.

'Damn, well that was easy; I must be good at learning these techniques due to my experience, but strengthening my nen will take a while.'

Trying to hold his breath for as long as possible, Gyro could only hold it for a minute.

Apparently it takes a month to extend the duration of Ren by 10 minutes, though it'll likely take longer for me.

'I may be ahead of the curve right now, but that's only because I started training from birth; I need a Hatsu that will enhance my nen potential.'

Gyro grabs a cup and heads outside to fill it up with water from a well before plucking a leaf as well; he's now ready for the water divining test.

Using his Nen, Gyro focused on the water, trying to find any clues.

No, I didn't do anything wrong.

'It's a bit spicy; guess I'm a transmuter then, what a shocker! Let's be honest, it was quite obvious with my personality and all that.'
