7 Do We Have A Deal?

The demon lord said inside his mind space.

Now as it stood, the demon lord was somehow inside him, that too as his system.

All the poor Jin remembered was slipping and banging his head on the urinal, just to blackout and find out that his system was taken over.

[Oi... Oi brat!!!]

The demon bellowed inside him, snapping Jin out of his running thoughts.

"Ah... Okay, Okay!!. I'll tell you about our world then"

Jin replied, thinking that responding to the demon within him would be much better than erratically raising a question and disputing the demon lord's question.

It was the DEMON LORD after all. He had to be careful with his words.

[That would be better brat... I wouldn't have asked you if the integration wasn't this slow!!. And goddamn this pace... it's worse than a sloth's!!]

The demon complained. He seemed to be infuriated at something which Jin felt troubled with.

"Integration? What are you talking about?"

Jin asked, he was no more able to hold in and restrain the gut feeling which screamed at him to question the entity inside him.

[Ahh!! This brat and his questions!!. Don't worry, I am just integrating with your body, it won't harm you, if not make you stronger... Hehe, what am I even saying... If I integrate with you wholly then you'll be invincible in this world filled with extras... hehe]

"....."

Jin went silent at what he heard from the mysterious being inside him. Invincible? And Him?.

Even though it made zero sense to him, the composure the demon's voice held up, type of, made Jin want to believe in what the demon lord was saying.

[I'll fill in the details later boy!!. By the way... for your information...]

"Hm?"

[I AM THE FRIKKIN DEMON LORD BRAT!!!. YOU SHOULD FEAR ME!!!]

"Yeah right... I am scared"

Jin snorted sarcastically.

[Why You?!...]

"Bruh!... I don't even know your origin... like how am I supposed to believe in you and act as you want if I don't know about you a bit...??"

Jin Interrupted the demon as he spoke.

[Huh!! But...]

"All you have been repeating like a mad man is 'I Am The Demon Lord'... without any evidence. Of course, your intentions are fishy!"

Jin paused for a second as he looked at the broken pillars.

"Even though I've got inhumane strength now... that doesn't mean it was because of you... maybe it could've been because I didn't switch off my system and the 'Joule Breakers' malfunctioned?"

[You mean coincidence? Yeah Right!]

The demon snorted.

"....."

[You are one brave young brat who can talk like this to the demon lord. Well I am impressed you dare to talk back even when you know who I am]

The deep and raspy voice continued.

"Seriously bruh? I was scared a minute ago, but I just realized that you are nothing without me and my body... aren't you?"

Jin replied. He responded with a question of his own.

His words were genuine. Jin was scared for a minute back when the demon first spoke inside him, but it soon withered as he discovered something.

This was just his hunch but If the demon was really inside Jin as his system, then he had nothing to worry about. Because it meant the demon lord needed his body to survive, at least for now.

And his premonition also said that there was no way the demon lord would kill him or abandon him because of the situation the entity was under right now.

Not anytime soon at least.

He emanated this from the recollections he did of the manner the demon lord had conversed with him. If he recalled it correctly, then the demon lord was, for a minute, startled back then.

Yes, Jin did remember the demon asking him about the area he was in when he was unconscious because of the impact his cranium reaped from the fall.

That was then, when the demon lord, for the first time himself, had found him trapped inside Jin's body, that was also when Jin realized about the demon himself being shocked.

And...

The current exchange of dialogues they had just now was a big stepping stone for Jin as it enabled him to almost ascertain that the demon lord didn't know a thing about the world Jin was in.

Which meant... He could probably manipulate the demon lord under him. Of course, if his hunches were correct that is.

[I know what you are thinking brat... I know how clever you are... but damn aren't you a bit too cunning... kekekek... But I love It... I love how sharp you are for your age.]

"....."

[And here I thought I was stuck inside a stupid young boy's body, but I guess I was wrong. Yes, brat... I don't know a thing about this world, but I just happened to know how I got inside you]

"Oh... You know how you got inside me?"

Jin inquired, he tried to be as calm as possible, because he knew it was just what he had to be.

[Yes I do, but I won't tell you how I got inside you... unless you tell me what I need to know. You are smart, but you seem to have a bad habit of underestimating others.]

"....."

[Manipulate me?... Hehe, I am the demon lord, after all, being a lord does mean he has brains to control his underlings doesn't it?]

"Hm?... You are right. So you knew what I was thinking"

Jin asked, he was not sure of it himself, but the reply he would get from the demon would, at the least, confirm it for him.

[Of course, I knew... I can read your memories, along with your mind, but I can only go back to a year maximum inside these jumbled memories of yours... maybe if the Integration was a bit faster, then I wouldn't have put up with the trouble to ask you about this world]

The demon finished his words with a sigh.

[Look kid... I don't want to live inside you either... even though you are impressive for your age, you are still weak.]

".... um..."

[Very, very, very, weak that you can't handle my powers, that's the reason why you are clutching your hand in pain, even though you just used 'not even a' complete one percent of my strength.]

[All I need to know from you is about this world and the strongest man alive... So that I can leave your body before the Integration is complete]

"*Sigh* I know I am weak... Even though I am Level 25, I don't even have the choice of holding a candle to Ezariel Garcia... and for your Information... he is the Strongest man alive."

Jin gasped as multiple windows opened before him. All of them said the same phrase fifteen times over. His eyes went round as he looked at them.

[You Levelled Up]

"I'm level 40 now... What!!... How did you do that?..."

[I'll tell you about that if you tell me about what I asked... Let's make a deal... You tell me everything you know about your world and I'll provide you details of what you want along with 5 more level ups]

The demon said.

Jin hesitated for a minute as he ran his thoughts inside him over and over again.

The rewards were, as Jin thought.

...Tempting!!

[Deal?]

The demon repeated.

"No...."

[Hm?]

"Just kidding... It's a deal"

[Kekekek...]
