14 Chapter 14: New Ability

During their time out, Geno didn't ignore his training. His En reached the sixty-meter mark. His Ko, Kin, and shu reached the perfect state. He tried to activate his other modes and was finally able to activate his Devourer Mode.

When he changed to Devourer mode, his eyes turned Golden. His hair turned into pure silver. His aura changed completely. He felt like Nothingness and the Nothingness was him. The life around him was absorbed completely.

At first, He couldn't control his desire to devour everything. He felt like he was the end of the world. He quickly changed to the normal mode before losing himself completely to this state.

He tried to control it again and again till he was able to finally control it. He could now absorb life and aura at will, not mindlessly. He also formulated an overpowered ability.

[Devourer mode, Black Hole:

Description: This ability has different uses. When the user activates the ability, he can only use one of its changes.

First Mode, Death Field: Inside user's En, All aura is devoured. The life of everyone inside is absorbed. For every second spent inside the user's En, a minute is taken from everyone inside and absorbed by the user. The more an opponent tries to release his aura, the more aura is absorbed by the user. No owe can use any form of Nen in the user's En.

Restrictions:

1. The user can't use any form of Nen except his En. (the user can only depend on his body and observation through his En)

2. The aura absorbed will belong to the user completely after a week. During this week the user will experience pain depending on the amount of aura absorbed.

Second Mode, thief: After defeating an opponent, A magical wheel will appear and spin. After stopping, the user can steal the opponent's ability that the magical wheel stopped on.

Restrictions:

1. The user can only copy the ability, the opponent can still use it to sixty percent of its power.

2. The user must explain his ability to his opponent.

3. The ability shown on the magical wheel is the ability that the user has at least sixty percent of understanding.

4. The user has a sixty percent chance of drowning nothing if he understands only one ability. This percent is decreased by the number of abilities the user understood.

Third Mode, The healer: the user can use the life force he stole to heal others.

Restrictions:

1. The user can't use his life force.

2. The user can only heal injuries, not sickness.

3. The injured must be willing and has no ill intention towards the user.]

After creating this ability, Geno was over the moon. He couldn't believe how powerful he was when he used Devourer Mode. When he was creating this ability, he was thinking that he would need harsh conditions to activate it but, like he was the Nen favorite son, the Nen didn't even obstruct him.

After the joy, he began to think if it would be the same after activating the Destroyer Mode. He started to look forward to activating it.

That was why he was eager to fight Netero. He wanted to try his abilities as well as develop his battle lust.

'Soon, the event recorded in the diary will happen. I need an excuse to drag grandfather into this will be a good fight.' Thought Geno to himself.

He took a deep breath and prepared himself to talk to his grandfather.

You might be wondering what was the event Geno was talking about. Well, It was the Kurta clan massacre. He wrote some information in the diary about the Kurta clan and that some gangs might want to take their eyes. He also wrote a date without indicating what would happen. That was what Geno wrote before losing his memories.

After collecting information for the past two months, he deduced the massacre and its relation to the Phantom troupes A.K.A The spiders.

Don't think of him as a kind of saint or something. He was going to save them not even without the note he wrote in his diary. During his time in this world, he developed the mentality of not caring about anyone except his family and friends. Although he wouldn't be like the Phantom troupes, killing people for their eyes, he would kill to take their possessions if they preferred them more than their life.

He was going there to fight with the Phantom troupe to experiment with his new abilities and develop his battle last. Maybe, kill one or two of them while at it.
