"Jack, what's that bright light?" Lin asked, putting on his glass after rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Did I wake you up? Sorry, Lin." After apologizing for disturbing Lin's sleep Jack added, "I created a bipedal lizard leather Jacket using my Nen ability. Do you want to see it?"

"It's ok. But, did you create a leather jacket using bipedal lizard leather? Where is it?" Lin did not seem to believe Jack's words however seeing the diamond book hover in front of Jack he chose to see what Jack was up to.

"Hold on, one sec," Jack took the Magical Beast Leather Jacket card from the card creation page and equipped it in one of his item card slots in the grimoire attack page. Then chanting the item cards name he summoned the Leather Jacket.

Under the light of the lamp, seeing a jacket appear in Jack's hand out of thin air, Lin was not surprised as he was used to it by now having seen Kite summon his crazy slots and Jack summon his diamond grimoire.

"Let me see," Lin said, reaching out for the jacket. Jack passed the leather jacket to Lin saying, "It's exactly like the one in the video, right?"

Lin looked at the leather jacket with scrutiny as he fixed his glass with his index figure. A few seconds later, visibly impressed by the jacket he replied, "Yes, it is exactly like the tribal huntsman created. How did you make it? I did not see you skin the lizard or do any of the steps the hunts did in the video."

"What can I say it's my Nen ability, it can create cards," Jack did not bother to explain the details about his Nen ability to Lin. With his thought, he recalled the item, and the Jacket in Lin's hand vanished.

"Wow," Lin exclaimed, visibly impressed by Jack's Nen ability. Though Lin did not know how Jack's ability worked he admired the ability to create. Then he continued to ask, "Does this mean you can create all the items the huntsman created using the materials from Bipedal Lizards?"

"I don't know for sure since this is the first time I tried out my Nen ability but I should be able to," Jack replied enthusiastically. As a fan of both HxH and Card Apprentice Daily Log, he was living the dream.

Having created the leather jacket using the corpse of a bipedal lizard without having to go through all the physical labor and time, Jack could not be more impressed and satisfied by the card creation skill of his Nen ability 'Diamond Grimoire.'

"That is amazing. I can't wait to awaken my Nen," Lin said while his tone expressed a deep longing.

There were two methods to awakening Nen, the fast but risky way that the protagonist used and the regular, tedious way with meditation involving physical and mental exercises which could take months or years for one to awaken their Nen.

All the members of Kite's team were following the regular way to awaken their Nen. Though they had just recently started training to awaken their Nen, having seen the original work Jack knew not a single one of them would be able to awaken their Nen even after they complete their contract with Kakin empire. Still, Jack politely encouraged Lin saying, "You can do it."

"Okay, let us get back to sleep. Tomorrow we have to travel," Lin said, removing his glasses and safely placing them beside his futon.

"You go ahead and sleep. I will practice my Nen ability a few more minutes," saying that Jack headed out of the tent to not disturb Lin's sleep as he explored the possibilities of the card creation page of his Nen ability Diamond Grimoire.

Heading out of the tent Jack saw Kite by the campfire as he had chosen to be on lock for the first half of the night.

Seeing Jack exit the tent, Kite was not surprised having heard the conversation between Lin and him. Not that he was eavesdropping on them but the night was silent and he happened to hear them.

Jack and Kite exchanged nods and got busy with their things, neither of them bothered to make small talk.

Sitting by the campfire, Jack opened the card creation page, deciding to visualize and create a card of every craft created by the tribal huntsman using a bipedal lizard corpse.
