Extermination.(1)

As Yong-sun was traveling through Seoul in the limo, he couldn't help but marvel at the towering architecture all over the city. Many citizens were briskly going about their day, numerous cars littered the streets, and even though his windows were up, Yong-sun could hear various conversations taking place due to his enhanced senses.{A/N: Just felt like you guys should know that the only reason his sense stat is his highest is because of dragon slayer magic.}

'Whew, what a beautiful city. I need to take some time off and explore this place one day.'

Yong-sun kept up his sightseeing through the city window of the limousine without much care in the world as a certain man kept watch on every bit of his mannerisms.

'Hm, the young master seems to be the same carefree man he was before the accident. Why did Master Park say to report everything he does to him?'

The driver of the limo, a man the old Yong-sun was close to, was told by Yong-sun's father to watch his movements and mannerisms. The driver didn't know why but to him, this notion seemed completely ridiculous.

How could the young master he knew so well change overnight? It didn't even make sense.

'Sigh, Master Park must be getting overprotective of his eldest son because of the accident. I can't blame him. Ah, the tracker says a low-level dungeon is coming up, it should be somewhere around here...'

Yong-sun had noticed that his driver was watching him for a while now but he pretended not to know anything. If he decided to stop him, it would only make the driver suspicious. The past Yong-sun was extremely careless and passive. He was someone who could be easily taken advantage of and had been taken advantage of.

In fact, the old Yong-sun was afraid of dungeons even though he was a hunter. He would always stare at them from afar but he never dared to get closer.

If not for his luxurious background, he probably would've already been dead in a ditch somewhere.

"Young Master Yong, we've arrived."

Yong-sun was so deep in thought that he barely even noticed that they had already stopped in front of a mildly crowded dungeon. There were a few lone hunters looking for a lucky break, hoping for a guild team to recruit them. There were even what looked like remnants of a guild team standing outside waiting for their main squad to return.

As Yong-sun was about to exit the car, the driver said with clear surprise on his face, "Young Master? You're getting closer? Ah! Did you see your guild members there?"

'Guild members?'

Yong-sun gave it some thought and quickly remembered what the driver was talking about. His parents, worried about his safety and knowing his cowardly behavior, used their connections to form a guild for him. Even though he was an E-rank, he was the guild master.

But as one would expect, there weren't many members who respected him. Out of the two dozen D/E rank hunters that his parents managed to convince, the only person who respected him was his childhood friend and vice leader, Soh Jinhong.

And even then, Jinhong was only a D-rank warrior. Many guild members were stronger than him.

"Oh, yes, since I went through that accident, I've decided to stop being as cowardly as before. Even though I'm currently still afraid of the dungeon, I promised myself that I would stop running away."

A surge of inspiration welled up in the driver's heart as he immediately responded, "Well done, Young Master! I will support you as much as I can! Be strong as you overcome your fears!"

'Heh, this driver is quite fond of me.'

Yong-sun smiled and exited the vehicle with his hands in his pockets, staring feverishly at the gate in front of him. Feeling the magic power thrumming from the gate, Yong-sun could instinctively feel that it was a weak one. At least, weaker than he currently was.

He walked closer with no regard for the people watching him curiously as they knew that a guild had already taken the gate.

'Up close, this thing looks crazy. I wonder if I could...'

As Yong-sun was about to put his hands through the gate, a woman in a suit appeared next to him and put her hands on his shoulder, saying sternly, "Sir, step away from the gate. The Crimson Domination Guild has ownership of this gate. If you refuse to comply, the full might of the hunter association will come down upon you."

Yong-sun regained his composure as he raised an eyebrow at the woman's words.

'Crimson Domination? Isn't that the name of the guild I control?'

His usual kind smile quickly faded as he turned his head to look at the woman. Now that it was time for action, the fake smile he kept on his face could no longer do the job.

"Woman, remove your hand. I'm the guild master of Crimson Domination so I have a right to enter this gate."

Feeling the sudden shift in atmosphere, the woman quickly released her magic power to pressure Yong-sun into submission as she tried to reprimand him.

"There's no use in resisting or lying. The guild master for Crimson Domination, Jin Yurim, has already entered with his 8 man team an hour ago. Just leave the perimeter of the gate before things get worse."

Yong-sun finally understood what was going on. In his short absence, Jin Yurim, the leader of another guild called the White Legion probably absorbed Crimson Domination and had taken the name for himself. He probably did so to make sure that the funding from Yong-sun's parents didn't stop.

'Hm, he even made sure that the news didn't spread at all. That means he had to convince Jinhong to somehow hand the rights over. Well, it's time to get some revenge.'

Of course, he didn't have any attachment to the said guild from the last owner but this ploy had rubbed him the wrong way. It was a cowardly way of doing things, albeit he still had to admit, the mastermind was smart.

Yong-sun didn't even bother to release his magic power on the woman who was a C-rank hunter. He just increased his natural body heat and in less than a second, her hand became scorched from the blistering heat.

"Ah!"

A low scream escaped from her mouth as she jumped away from Yong-sun, forming a magic spell with her uninjured hand as she did so. Her scorched hand was already incapacitated.

'Wind Storm!'

She was just about to release the spell when she noticed Yong-sun already halfway into the gate. He didn't plan on harming her too much outside the dungeon as the consequences could be a bit dire. But if she followed him inside, he was going to burn her until nothing remained. After all, without evidence of him actually killing her, the only thing that could be made was speculation.

That was something his background could easily take care of.

"Dammit! He already got through!"

The woman wanted to chase him but she couldn't tell what would happen if she did. The rank of her opponent was unknown and it was clear that he had the power to harm her easily. It would be a foolish decision to chase.

"I need to call for backup..."

---

Inside the gate, Yong-sun had already set up a wall of sickly, emerald flames at the entrance, blocking both entry and exit. After all, he didn't know what the other party was planning nor did he know the full abilities of the people he was about to fight. Just in case one of them managed to escape his wrath further up in the dungeon, they would find themselves being consumed by the flames.

Yong-sun immediately used his sense ability as he planned to track down the boss and the rest of the hunters. Feeling the strong magic power rushing towards him, Yong-sun quickly concluded that they were in the boss room.

'But a few of them are almost dead.'

Since he wanted to fight everyone and everything there himself, the ground broke under his feet as he boosted forward with a trail of fire behind him. He was not about to let this chance slip past him.
