Chapter 3: I'm your father!

The clash between the two Level 5 Espers intensified. Electricity crackled, illuminating the park as they unleashed their powers upon each other. The city could feel the presence of thunder and lightning, but only the two combatants knew the true cause.

"Why do you possess this ability too!?" Mikoto looked at Alexander in front of her. The two had been fighting for half an hour. However, being two beings with the same ability and level, Alexander had the advantage of Mikoto's calculation ability and combat experience. Thus, it appeared as if they were fighting for half an hour, but in reality, their combined output was...

What effect can a super railgun have on another super railgun? The lightning struck them both or was absorbed directly by their own powers. How can two identical abilities inflict damage on each other?

"Why is it impossible? Didn't you say I created you? If I can create you, then there's nothing wrong with me having your ability," calmly stated Alexander, naturally provoking Mikoto to grit her teeth in anger. However, she had no choice but to enhance her attacks.

"Railgun!"

"Iron sand sword!"

"Iron sand sword!"

"Ultra Railgun!"

"Ultra Railgun!"

It became evident that their same powers yielded no real outcome. Neither could harm the other. Alex was secretly proud of neutralizing Mikoto's railgun attacks, while Mikoto found herself increasingly excited by the encounter. She had always sought extraordinary experiences, and this encounter with Alexander had exceeded her expectations.

However, Alexander's focus shifted. He realized that if their fight continued, it would draw unwanted attention. The world he lived in seemed normal, and the risk of superpowers being discovered and used as research subjects was something he couldn't afford to take.

With this in mind, Alexander relinquished his powers and charged towards Mikoto, engaging in close combat. Though Mikoto was confident in her athletic prowess, Alexander had acquired the martial arts skills of Kojiro, making him a formidable opponent.

"Close combat? Don't underestimate me!" Mikoto looked at the charging Alexander, her face filled with confidence. As an athletic genius, she could defeat three or four goons even in close combat.

The corners of Alex's mouth curled up. "More than close combat? Let me show you my true power."

In that moment, two supremely confident individuals clashed. Five seconds later, the park was filled with the sound of slapping.

"I let you hunt me down!"

Pak!

"I let you discharge randomly!"

Pak!

"I let you fool around!"

Pak!

There was a crisp crackling sound. 

If an innocent bystander heard it, they would blush and leave in embarrassment. 

But only those with impure thoughts would misinterpret the situation.

Because at that moment, Alexander was spanking Mikoto. After all, in his memory, the only way to discipline children was through physical punishment. If they misbehaved, what was wrong with a little spanking?

But Mikoto wasn't a child! She tried to struggle, but as a middle school student, she couldn't break free from his grip. Thus, she could only lie there, feeling wronged and even shedding tears. When had she ever suffered such humiliation?

She didn't expect him to be so perverse in close combat.

He continued to spank her until his hands began to ache. Eventually, he released Mikoto from his grasp. Even then, the defiant Mikoto didn't beg for mercy once.

Sensing that Alex had ceased his punishment, Mikoto immediately jumped out of his arms. She pointed her jade-like white finger at him and shouted, "You! You jerk!"

She had never been treated like this before! But what could she do? Not only was she in pain, but she also realized she would be sleeping on her stomach tonight. If they continued to fight, she wouldn't be at an advantage.

Seeing that Mikoto had been disciplined, Alex stood up from the bench. He dusted off his clothes and said to the girl, "Alright, I've punished you enough. It's getting late. I'm going home."

After speaking, he was about to turn around and head home. He was exhausted and would have been sleeping in his bed by now if Mikoto hadn't suddenly appeared. He was already drenched in sweat.

As Alexander prepared to leave, Mikoto made a resolute decision. She couldn't let him leave so irresponsibly. With determination, she chased after him, calling out his name.

"Alexander Chase! Are you planning on leaving me so irresponsibly?"
