After leaving the roof, Asher and Nyx sat inside the cafeteria. The blond boy had been reluctant to come here, but he was dragged here without his consent. For a moment, he even felt that the red-haired boy wanted to pull him out of his shell, but little did he know this was a hidden motive.

"This is so uncomfortable," Asher said when he felt all the eyes of the students pointing at him and whispering quite loudly. Weren't people supposed to gossip quietly? What was with this high-pitched conversation?

"I wonder why they're together," a student scoffed. "Two of the biggest assholes in one seating."

"True, really true. One of them caused the death of so many students, and the other has lost his mind. Don't you think it has something to do with their encounter?"
