"I'm alive?"

After an unknown amount of time Loris woke up atop a big pile of debris, probably the remains of his house, the only material heritage his parents left to him after they passed away.

He could notice that he was near the edge of the debris and under him is what once was a kitchen, curiously he was directly above the place where he fell and was smashed by the falling wall and roof....

'Wait, how the hell did I got away from there?'

'I felt like there were thousands of small blades shreddering my body from inside out. My stomach, my bones, my veins, my guts, my eyes....even my brain was destroyed'

He trembled strongly just by thinking of that hell of pain.

'I'm also pretty sure the falling debris also smashed my left arm and leg but....'

There wasn't a single injury in his body. More than that, even his old scars from the cuts, burns, shocks and smashes from when he hurt himself while crafting were gone. His skin is new and pristine, soft and firm, making his tanned body take a dark and dull ambar color.

'How the hell am I even whole?'

But there were two biggest changes he went through, one is that the previous ten centimeters cage is now much larger, around two meters away from him in all directions, he didn't noticed before but he somehow can 'see' everything that is within this 'cage'.

He can feel, he can feel....

"Fuck!"

He immediatly rolled to his left when a tiger that was pouncing at his back narrowly missed his neck and striked a shallow wound on his shoulder.

If it weren't for his 360° degrees perception, fast reaction and lean body, his miraculous second chance in life would end seconds after starting.

"What is a tiger doing here?"

"Wait, it isn't a tiger...."

Still in the ground and gripping his bleeding shoulder, he turned to face the big feline just to have a shocking realization.

"It's a cat.... a very big one"

The meter and half tall grey cat pounced at him again and this time Loris noticed that the cat's claws were gleaming with a whitish-blue hue. He let himself slide down the debris hill with a panicked expression, looking around furiously searching for anything that could help him protect himself.

"Hup!"

'This will do!!'

With all his strength, he pulled a metal pipe from under the debris and looked toward the huge cat that was looking at him from the place were he previously was.

The murderous glint on its eyes said that it wouldn't let him dodge a third time.

"MEAOAR"

With what sounded like a mix between a meow and a roar, the cat jumped upward, when it arrived at max altitude of the jump it brought both it's paw's claws downward in a X shape.

And to Loris' surprise and despair, a whitish-green X shaped ethereal and extremely sharp looking wind blade was flying in his direction.

A second later, when the wind blade entered his special percepcion, everything became slow, the previously fast wind blade, the cat's descent, even himself. The only thing that kept it's normal speed was his mind and the strange whitish-grey energy that circulated at his body through imaginary veins that were all linked at his solar plexus, with their tips some inches away form each other.

When the wind blade was a meter and half away from his face he threw the 60 centimeters long metal pipe while at the same time, in a instinctual way, he put as much of the strange energy in his body in the throwing motion as he could.

ZHIIIIP

BOOOOOM MEEEEOOWW

Surprisingly, the metal pipe vanished from his hand and immediatly appeared in front of the wind blade, covered in a blackish-grey hue it collided with the wind blade and passed through it easily and with great speed it tore the air and pierced the cat's chest at the same as the wind blade exploded in a shockwave.
