Lucius walked inside a bustling inn that had all of its walls painted gray, giving the building a rather creepy vibe. The innkeeper and all the residents showed great reverence for Lucius as they welcomed him back.

On a nearby street's alleyway, surrounded by two brick buildings, a hooded figure leaned on the wall, watching Lucius disappear into the second floor.

He pulled up his sleeve and checked the time on his silver-rimmed wristwatch. He then hid the wristwatch again and looked towards the second floor of the inn.

All the windows showed a dark interior.

Then he focused his gaze on the third floor. The third window on the right was covered by a curtain, but the dark interior behind that curtain suddenly turned bright, and a small shadow moved past the curtain.

'Third floor...' The hooded figure put a mental note in his mind.
