35 Ch.35 End of the year.

The author here Please read Ch.34 I have made a bit of a change to the Duelling club, it will now open next year I did that because it didn't feel right to introduce a new thing at the end of a year.

And secondly, you might feel like this chapter is like speedrunning because it is I didn't want to stay in year two because there wasn't much to do anyway and the things that I wanted to do was during summer break so I kind of rushed this chapter. I am sorry for doing such a thing but I just didn't want to stay in year two any longer so please forgive me.

The rest of the year went fairly quiet. After the tragedy of the chamber of secrets. The students were gifted with an easy paper and a free grade of DADA which I didn't care for.

Again like last year Hermione was 1st, Victoria and Daphne were 2nd and 3rd respectively and I was 5ft in place.

The quidditch cup was won by Slytherin because of the Nimbus 2001 and Draco got his shoulder dislocated and his Mom removed him from the team, Draco didn't even get a say in it.

We were sitting at the Slytherin table and the Great Hall was decorated with the Slytherin colours and this time around there were no surprise point distribution. The second was Ravenclaw and the third was Griffindor.

We won because of the underhanded methods of prof. Snape but no one complained. Griffindor was not happy that they lost the House cup as well the Quidditch Cup.

But they were happier with their accomplishment of killing the Basilisk but not really though many still believed that I was the one who killed the Basilisk.

Harry was again at qualms with me because I told everyone that he killed the Basilisk and I helped him in doing so. I mean I gave you the bigger credit what more do you want. I couldn't say that I killed it. My reputation was bad enough as it is.

(In Train)

We were sitting in the train compartment with the Slytherins and Luna. Luna has been an outcast in Ravenclaw. So she mostly spends time with us. Ted and I have decided to take care of the bullies in a more hands-on approach from the next year.

I asked, "So what are you guys going to do this summer?"

Victoria said "I will be visiting my uncle. So I will be having the worst summer."

Daphne said, "I have no plans."

Ted said, "I don't have plans either."

Olivia said "Well, I will be in Australia with my parents, they are researching on Taniwha. So I will be on the beach with my cousins."

Astoria said, "I am going to play with Luna all summer at her place."

Luna said "Yes my dad has permitted me to invite Astoria and since Ginny lives nearby all three of us will be close this summer. What will you be doing Jon?"

I said, "I will mostly be working on research my research, expanding the business and maybe throw a Coup d'état."

Ted asked, "Wait what was that last part?"

I smiled said, "I am joking.... or am I?"

Daphne then said, "So the house at London ready yet?" she gave a sly look at Victoria.

I said, "Oh, yeah Florian said that it is mostly ready, you can start looking into furniture if you want."

Victoria said, "So are you going to come to pick me up on my birthday?" She gave a coy look to Daphne.

I said "Yes, we already decided that I will come and pick you up and we will go and have dinner and a movie. Why are you asking again?" then it clicked this is a catfight.

Victoria looked at me and said "No reason."

I said "So I observed that Harry is not doing all that well. What is with that?"

Victoria said, "Well if I know him, he is bothered by the attention he is getting."

Ted said, "I don't understand him, if I got that much attention then I would be over the moon."

I said, "Well, he is not all that normal when it comes to that, he likes to be left alone but sadly he always gets smothered by love and attention and I somehow have made it sound like it is a bad thing."

Victoria said, "Yeah, boo-hoo people love me get over it." It looks like Coco's contempt for Harry is only growing day by day.

Luna then said "We should all go to a picnic one day. when all of us are free."

Astoria looked at Daphne and me and I said "I don't see why not. All of us will be in England for the rest of the summer so I see no reason not to."

We then talked about the details of the picnic where will we go and everything else. We then ate lunch and talked a bit about other stuff. When we reached the station it was stormed with people.

I looked out the train and said "Why are there so many people?"

Victoria said, "They may be here to worship Harry I guess."

I said, "Yeah, That was a dumb question."

We then got off the train and we saw Harry getting swarmed by camera and people and I was amused then we made our way to the parents I saw Florian with Victoria's parents.

I asked, "Why are they all together?"

Daphne said, "What are you scared?"

I said, "No, I am just curious as to why are they all together?"

Victoria said "I have no idea. But can't just stay here, now can we."

We then said our goodbyes to others and we then walked up to them. Then Florian said, "Look the kids are here."

I said to James "You might want to check up on Harry he is with the Weasley's." James then went to go and get Harry and I asked Florian "What were you talking about?"

Lily said, "James and Florian were discussing how Fudge is destroying the Aurors."

I asked, "What did he do this time?"

Florian said "Well, aside from budget cuts he is now restricting their jurisdictions. The new laws will make Aurors glorified security guards."

I then thought if Aurors are getting out of business this might be a good time to make a security company and poach some Aurors. When I was thinking that I had a grin on my face and Daphne said "Jon stop your evil grin."

I then looked around and stopped and said"It was nice to meet you again Mrs Potter. Mr Greengrass, I will meet you again. Girls, I will take my leave now." I then turned around and left.

I then used the portkey and reached the Mansion at the South Port. I reached home and Jeely greeted me at the door and took my stuff and took care of Nimbus and Cotton and I just relaxed for the rest of the day.

The next day I went to the Greengrass manor. I wanted to talk about the Auror situation as well as the new products we will be launching.

(In the study of Greengrass Manor)

Both me and Florian were sitting on the couch and he looked a bit disappointed so I asked: "What is wrong why are you looking at me like that?"

He said "Nothing there is nothing wrong." in an undertone he said "Casanova"

I heard that and said, "You told me it was fine if I also liked someone."

He said, "I didn't mean that. I just said those things so that you will marry my daughter and then you would fall for her and not marry someone else. But I didn't know that you were also going to marry her best friend."

I said "First of all I liked Victoria first and second of all if both of them have some sort of agreement I am not going to meddle in it. And thirdly can we just talk about the stuff I came here to talk about?"

He sighed and said "Fine.... the Aurors are getting laid off, or should I say they are quitting and are doing freelancing work as hit wizards. So what do you want to do about it."

I said, "I want to open a security company that will employ former Aurors and werewolves."

He was shocked and asked "What?! You want to employ werewolves?"

I said "Calm down. They already do mercenary work. So I thought if we gave them accommodation and other facilities we get a substantial amount of people that are loyal to us. Imagine our private army."

He said, "Fudge wouldn't allow that."

I said, "That is why we are calling it a security company that everyone can hire, even the ministry."

He said, "So you want our guards in the ministry instead of Aurors?"

I said "Fudge is a paranoid weirdo, who thinks he is under the threat from Amelia Bones the current DMLE. That is why he is cutting her fundings and everything, so what if we present our guards as an option that offers loyalty for money?"

He said, "That would be nice but sadly the werewolves are controlled by Fenrir Greyback and he hates everyone"

I said, "Isn't there someone who wants him out?"

He said, "There are several, but no one can openly come out to say it otherwise they die."

I said "Then we find someone or if necessary we make one. Werewolves are the cheapest labour force that we can expl... I mean to utilize."

He said "I will look into it. What was the other thing you wanted to talk about."

I said, "I wanted to introduce cellphones to the Wizarding world."

He said, "Is that such a good idea?"

I said, "I think it's a great idea, it gives us a new and efficient way to communicate with other people."

He said, "Wouldn't phones make the other stuff we sell useless?"

I said, "Not really they are still not that good to replace most of the stuff we sell."

He said, "Well, I am sure we can bribe Fudge to give us new frequencies for the network. But the main problem will be the Owl people."

I said, "Owls will still be required in delivering goods. That is until we find something better to replace them with."

He then asked, "Hey, Jon you are staying at the South Port Mansion right?"

I said, "Yes, I am why?"

He said, "Well, Bella wants you to stay here with us."

I was surprised and asked, "Why does she want me to stay here?"

He said "Well, she thinks you get lonely out there. And she believes it will give you more time to spend with Daph."

I said, "I don't know."

He said, "Just stay Jon, you might feel better with everyone around you."

I said "I can't I finally have some peace with the both of them and I can't mess that up by staying here. So I am sorry but I can't stay here."

He sighed and said, "Well if you change your mind anytime you are welcome to stay here."

We then talked about the other devices we were going to sell mainly Tv, fridge, washing machine and everything in between. It took a lot out of us.

He wanted me to stay the night but I had told Jeely I will be back so I had to go. Today was very productive I hoped that someone is in the mood for a coup in Werewolf town.
